This beautiful chalet style home was built in 1973 and totally remodeled in 2003 with all of the most current amenities. Located at the bottom of Snow Summit Mountain, you can walk to the parking lot in 1 minute and be on the lift shortly thereafter... Literally!!! It has all the amenities you desire in a relaxing and fun mountain getaway, including modern furnishings. Walk to the slopes.
Free shuttle from Snow Summit to Bear Mountain. Snow Summit is the only resort to offer night skiing. Just two and a half minutes from the lake, restaurants and all of Big Bear's attractions. There is a private jacuzzi which sits on a private 450 square foot redwood deck amongst tall pine trees, manzanillas and oaks on a half acre lot. Private.
Bedding Configuration: The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a master full bath with tub. Featuring a down comforter with duvet, high thread count linens are available for rent. The master features its own desk with mac computer running Tiger, high speed internet connection (airport and ethernet), printer, remote color 20-inch TV with DirecTV.
The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The third bedroom has a full-size bed. All bedrooms are insulated and feature carpet, end tables, alarm clock radios and a large closet.
Living Room: 27-inch TV, DirecTV, wireless internet, DVD player. Enjoy a crackling fire in the rock fireplace after a great day of skiing. There is a brand new ultra suede couch with chaise.
Deck/Jacuzzi: Just off the Kitchen sits the Deck, that includes a Spa with views of tall pine trees and clear skies for star gazing or snowfall. Enjoy the sunset from the sit down views in the relaxing Jacuzzi, while melting away the stresses and strains of everyday life. After skiing, the brave can even jump out of the Jacuzzi and make snow angels in the snow–covered backyard which lies just a few steps down from the deck with patio furniture.
Kitchen: Fully-equipped, totally remodeled Kitchen, with dishes and settings for six persons, and all appliances oven/range for big meals, microwave, toaster, dishwasher. All kitchen utensils, pots and pans you will be hard pressed to find a better-stocked kitchen in any rental home in Big Bear! We usually
provide dishwashing detergent, paper towels and other cleaning aids. The kitchen has slate floors and butcher block counters and under cabinet lighting. The compact and casual table seats four.
Laundry Closet: The large, separate laundry closet has a stackable washer/dryer, linens, towels, extra blankets/pillows, extra shower curtain/liner, extra full-size mattress and laundry detergent.
