A magnificent warm and spacious luxury chalet (built 8 years ago) with wrap-around views of Whistler and Wedge Mountains, Armchair Glacier and Green Lake. Situated on a private, treed, 3/4 acre granite knoll, this 3000 sq.ft. home has four bedrooms plus den (with queen size hide-a-bed), four bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 10 people.

The "great room" is ideal for intimate gatherings with family, friends, or clients, and encompasses a spacious dining room, games table, living room and open gourmet kitchen. Special features include Douglas fir post and beam construction with vaulted ceilings, open living spaces and heated tile floors. Great room features fireplace, and massive windows with magnificent mountain and lake views, facing east, south and west. Beautifully furnished and ultra comfortable.

Built-in stereo system in great room, kitchen, den and master bedroom/ensuite. TV, DVD and VCR in living room. HD LCD TV's - 37" and 46" and HD cable

The gourmet kitchen has a large island, granite counters, gas range and top-end quiet appliances. Fully equipped kitchen with place settings for 12. A gas BBQ is located on a large wrap-around deck.

All four bedrooms on the upper floor feature vaulted ceilings, pine furnishings, carpeting and mountain views. 2 master bedrooms with ensuites. Bed configurations are: 1 king, 3 queens, 1 double and 2 singles. In addition, there are 3 roll-out single beds.

1st master bedroom is a mixture of luxury and romance: king bed, chaise lounge, see-through fireplace and walk-in closets. Ensuite offers a 2–person deep-soaking Jacuzzi tub, double shower and double sinks with granite vanity. Built in sound system in bedroom and ensuite. Stunning panorama views of Green Lake, Whistler and other mountains, including Tantalus Range, from the bedroom and ensuite. Floor to ceiling windows. 6-speed ceiling fan.

Heated 3-car garage has storage for ski equipment and outerwear. Additional storage is available in spacious mudroom. Outdoor stairs are heated, and outdoor lights go on automatically. For summer recreation, there is a canoe, two kayaks, two mountain bikes, one hybrid bike, and two touring bikes.

This beautiful chalet is primarily a private use recreational chalet by the owner, and is periodically available for selected rentals or home exchanges throughout Canada, the U.S. or internationally. For rental purposes, the chalet is available for a minimum period of 28 days up to a maximum period of 6 months during the 2007/2008 ski season (Nov. 1, 2007-April 30, 2008), and for a minimum period of 28 days thereafter. LONG-TERM ACCOMMODATION DESIRED.

PLEASE NOTE: Many people might not require the chalet to use for the full 28 day period, as needs can understandably vary. Naturally, actual use is up to the guest renting the chalet. However, the period blocked and dedicated for your use would cover a minimum 28 day period. The actual rate for usage would be discounted accordingly by pragmatic negotiation in advance based on actual anticipated use.

This takes into account the reality of utility cost savings, etc., to the owner when not in use. In the above scenario, the chalet would not be used or rented out during the period of time the guest did not use the chalet during the minimum dedicated period blocked.

The rental is based on several variables, including seasonal demand, time of year, and the duration of the long-term booking, eg 6 months would be a more attractive rental package than 1 month!

We appreciate that guests may not need or use the chalet for the full 28 nights.
Therefore the actual cost is negotiated downwards depending on anticipated use.
This takes into account that the owner will save on utilities & other costs.
However, the full 28 night period will be reserved exclusively for the guest use,
and will not be used or rented out by others when the guest is not using chalet.
