Come Stay in a Cozy, Comfortable Haven: 'Beach Haven' Condo!

  This home was absolutely perfect! We stayed as a couple and one teen. You are walking distance to everything-beach, great restaurants, grocery store, and park. We hardly used our car once checked in. Complex is small, cute, quiet, and full time residents were friendly. Nice to have laundry room too. Rani was very nice and easy to rent from!! I really can't think of one negative thing to say about this home!! We normally have stayed in Santa Barbara when visiting daughter at college, but I think we'll keep coming back to Carpinteria and just make the short drive to Santa Barbara if needed. One thing to know about Carpinteria, though--no bags available at grocery store. Not just no plastic bags, but NO bags, unless you purchase the reusuable ones there. Not a problem really, but wish we knew before walking to store without any!

  Owner response: Good point about the lack of shopping bags in the stores! Carpinteria recently adopted a "no bag" policy as an environmentally conscious measure. There are reusable shopping bags available under the sink at the condo, but I always find it hard to remember to take bags with me when I go out!

  I am a business professional who is eventually moving from the Midwest to a new job in Carpinteria. Beach Haven has been my home-away-from-home for the past two months during this transition. If you are in the same situation or just need to get away from the commotion of your hometown, stay here. It is more economical than corporate housing and frankly a whole lot more pleasant. The neighbors are so quiet you could hear a pin drop at night. From the bed in the evening you can faintly hear the waves of the ocean. Rani stocks the house with everything (I mean everything) someone would need. She takes pride in Beach Haven and that love shines through in the warmth of the home. In regards to the location, the beach is only a block away. Vons grocery store is a five-minute walk with a Redbox inside. And even closer is Sly’s for great burgers along with Thai, Mexican, and a well-hidden microbrewery called Island Brewing Company. A ten-minute walk and you’ll hit the best cupcake bakery in the area, Crush Cakes, with an excellent breakfast and Intelligencia coffee. I’m glad I stumbled into Rani's Beach Haven, she made this transition really pleasant.

  Rani, thank you so much for sharing this great beach rental with us! My fiancee's bday was last weekend and I wanted to plan a nice beach trip for him. Neither of us had been to Carpinteria, and it was all we expected and more. The condo is very centrally located. We were a block from the beach and walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. The condo was very comfortable and clean and a nice home away from home. Highly recommended and we will surely be coming back in the future.

  This is great little rental - super clean and nicely decorated. The location can't be beat - practically on the beach and in walking distance to everything. The owner is so friendly and has really made the extra effort to make her rental sweet and cozy. We had a great time and would definitely return. Thank you so much Rani!

  The vacation home is exactly like how it is described on the listing. The location is great, just across the street from Carpinteria State Beach, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We did not drive our car once during our vacation, and hardly needed to ride a bike. The home is very clean and well decorated. We will definitely return. Thank you, Rani!

  My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with our stay here. The unit is very clean, cozy, quiet and nicely decorated. It is very close to both beach and downtown Carpinteria; a block to the beach, two blocks into town and many quaint shops and restaurants close by. Rani (the owner) was a joy to communicate with, before, during and after our stay!

  We just got back from our Beach Haven weekend. What a great place in a great location. Steps away from the beach, and a quick walk to all amenities. Rani has made her place so cozy and full of extra little details that made our stay awesome! I can't wait to plan our next trip ;)

  We chose this property over another 2 because of Rani's friendly responses to our initial email. From the first contact to our final, reluctant-to-leave moments in her condo, everything was top notch and I would rate it with even more stars, if possible. The condo is just as described and pictured online and the area is very family-friendly and there is SO much to do in the area. We spent quite a bit of time at the beach (it really is 1/2 block away from condo!) and also strolling through the congenial town of Carpinteria. We were among the previous renters who did not even use their car at all because of all there is to do within walking distance. Although Carp was experiencing a heat spell while we were there (all of 85 degrees-not bad compared to Phoenix!), the condo was pleasant to be in with fans both upstairs and down. Rani has decorated it so lovingly and there was nothing we needed that was not provided. There are several amazing paintings done by her very talented artist-mother which I especially loved. Von's is a couple of blocks away for groceries. The condo complex has beautiful landscaping and is private and well-cared for. We look forward to returning regularly to this very special "Beach Haven," and hope we get to meet Rani in person sometime!

  Just got back from our stay at the "Beach Haven" We had such a wonderful time. Our family of four fit nice and cozy in this condo. We spent our days going to the farmer's market, flea market, playing soccer at the park and of course boogie boarding at the beach. We did not use our car once because the condo is close to everything! I love the flowers all around the lovely grounds. Slept like a rock on the bed. In short...we did not want to leave. I have to say that in a world were customer service is all but died out...This experience with the owner is rare indeed! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo and obviouse love for what you do. God Bless. P.S. Love the paintings so much. Hope to come back sooooon! Love, The SHAC
