We invite you to experience Costa Rica from the comfort of our beachside house. OK, it's across the street - less than 100 yards. Playa Hermosa is a surfers paradise offering world class waves all year long. You surfers know what I'm talking about. For those who prefer to just watch, Hermosa Palm's oceanfront pool is the place to be. (Did I mention we are directly across the street from the pool). To quote a recent entry in our guestbook:"I think this is the best house in the neighborhood because of the location. Every morning I walk across the street to check out the ocean. Love It." The trees surrounding the pool are a feeding stop for Scarlet Macaws. Hugh Mango trees teeming with wildlife shade our house. The beach is a nesting spot for turtles. An ecological preserve is a mile away. Caymans and Crocs live in the nearby canal. Just driving back and forth on our recently paved road you will see birds you've never seen before.

The three bedrooms upstairs have a King bed, two twins, and a Queen Bed . There is also a blowup queen bed. The second floor balcony accesses a third floor lookout with palapa roof. From there you can see from the ocean to the jungle. There is an enclosed garage. In room safe. Hermosa Palms is a gated and guarded community with 24 hour security. Beaches and all grounds are patrolled around the clock.

  • I recently stayed in this beautiful home and can agree with all the other comments posted. The home was gorgeous and just as you see it in the pictures. It's a wonderful location and we felt very safe staying in this community. Most importantly, the owner, Donna, was a dream to work with and I will definitely be going back to Costa Rica and staying in this beautiful home. Next time I will stay a month, a week is not long enough! Paradise found!

  • This is a great place to stay. We had a full house and there were things to do for everyone. The pool is within a stone's throw and the beach just beyond the pool. As for the house, well furnished and well maintained. A perfect house for any group going(big or small). Neighborhood is comprised of much of the same, so there is no rifraf. I would definately recommend staying here and Donna is excellent to work with. Everything from the initial contact to return of deposit. No problems.

  • We had an amazing time for a week in May in this house. The house was absolutely gorgeous, as was the neighborhood. The house was directly across from the pool and beach access walk way. The neighborhood staff were all helpful and friendly. Donna was a wonderful lady to rent from and did everything she could to help us out.
