I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful cabin. It is very secluded, yet in a gated community which helps with safety, yet way, way off the beat and path and private. The Saunders' were great with instructions and directions for the cabin. I arrived at night and was glad to have my flashlight. The house is well maintained and clean. Plenty of dishes and towels. What I loved most about the cabin was being able to hear the water from the river even at night. The sound was so soothing! I'd often sit out on the porch and listen to the water while sitting in one of the rocking chairs. This cabin was a great value for what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend it.

My October visit to your little paradise was perfect. My purpose was to relax and do a little fly fishing. The cabin was extra clean and just as described, being well appointed. I relished the seclusion, privacy and the beauty of the cabin and surroundings. I only caught one fish but as Henry David Thoreau said: "Many men go fishing all there lives without knowing that it is not the fish they are after." Overall, it is a great property at a very reasonable price and I will definately return.

Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! We had a wonderful time. Although it rained the first night, we made a big pot of chili and cornbread while listening ot the rain. We spent the next day fishing. Eric caught a beautiful rainbow trout! However, I let it wiggle off the hook and watched it swim away. We didn't have much luck after that, but enjoyed the sound of the creek and beautiful views. This was a much needed getaway for us and we had a blast! Thanks again.

We had such a great time at the cabin! The creek is beautiful and we enjoyed listening to it at night. The fall leaves were beautiful. Mostly, we enjoyed hanging out together and playing board games! We can't wait to come back. Thanks!

We came here to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. This is a peaceful, beautiful place. We emjoyed the deck overlooking the Mountaintown Creek. So nice to hear the water flowing over the rocks. Though it poured rain on Friday, it was just fine because the sound of the rain on the metal roof was so relaxing. It was WAY TOO SHORT of a trip for us. If we only had a few more days here....

Fantastic! We came up from Florida for the long holiday weekend with our three kids and had a wonderful time in your little slice of heaven. Your cabin was very comfortable for us and the location was perfect for us to visit our new property and the surrounding areas. To anyone who likes fishing, my kids were in their glory and my daugher's highlight was reeling in a 17 inch rainbow trout! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Thanks so much for sharing your cabin! We had a great time, resting and enjoying the river. Our 6 year old grandson caught the first fish, however his Nanny lost him on the bank. We did get a picture to prove the catch! We love the mountains and will be planning a return trip. Thanks again!

My spring break (teacher) fishing trip to GA! Cabin was GREAT! Cozy, yet all the amenities. Only used the downstairs as I had to leave wife and dogs at home, no spring break on her job :( Gives me time to feed my trout fishing habit. Fishing was GREAT--I caught at leaast 30 trout in four days. Nine trout going home with me for some great meals. All nine going home are 16-22 inches. Anything smaller, I released. You were right Brian, there are big ones in here! I enjoyed my stay here and I will return!! You have a great cabin and stock it well, too. Thanks!

If you are going to get cabin fever, this is the cabin to get it in. I was comfortable and cozy all winter. When it got really cold, I hibernated upstairs. Love the blankets up there. When it was warm, there was lunch and tae chi on the deck. The grandkids wanted a fire whenever they came over and we went through a ton of marshmellows! Thanks for sharing I've had a great stay.

The best part about this cabin is it is so remote. You feel like you're camping out, but with all the amenities. Nestled in the woods, surrounded by the forest and always within earshot of the lyric melody of the river below, it's a great getaway for us "city folk." Really appreciate the wireless internet and cable, too. This is a very special place that I'm sure you are proud to own.

Thanks! We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Sitting on the porch, drinking coffee in the mornings outside and reading were so relaxing! We enjoyed swimming, tubing and fishing in the creek. Even though it's summer, we enjoyed the pot belly stove at night. Thanks so much for sharing your great cabin!

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful place with us. It is not only peaceful and beautiful, but also refreshing for the soul. The kids loved playing in the creek and hiking in the beautiful woods. My wife and I enjoyed sleeping late--something that rarely happens at home. We all loved this part of the country and all of the friendly people and hope that we can come back for many years to come. We feel very blessed to have been able to stay here. Thank you!

Not the largest cabin we have stayed in, but by far, THE "BEST." This was one of the best trips we have had in this area and we owe it all to this great cabin. Thanks so much for sharing.

We are 2 for 2 with loving our Coldwater Cabin experience. Our boys could enjoy the sights and especially the sounds of the river first hand....the smell of sirloins on the grill, fresh cut green beans with bacon in the cast iron sklllet. The adults stayed warm by the pot bellied stove as the boys slumbered. We regretfully can't stay. However, we leave rejuvenated with thoughts of our next visit.

This cabin has been very hospitable, warm and cozy for genXers and their 2 year old. Two days ago, we opted for camping "with perks" and set out on the world wide web and found an abundance of cottage/cabins/lodges/campgrounds/state parks/rv parks, etc. Coldwater Cabin beckoned with a combo of indoor/outdoor. A fire has been stocked in the pot bolly last night as temps plunged to freezing. This cabin and creek are stunning! Our stay couldn't have been more comfortable. Many Thanks, The Cutlers

Thanks for sharing your cozy cabin with us. Although we had no luck fishing for trout in the creek, we certainly had fun. The boys had a blast with my husband at the indoor pool while I worked out in the fitness center. Hillcrest Orchard had lots to do....a petting farm, wagon ride and my favorite a variety of fresh picked apples in addition to baked goods. We'll miss falling asleep each night with the sound of the creek outside, but look forward to trips in the future back to our new found spot at Ellijay! The pot belly stove was great! God Bless!
