Welcome to Kailua - a small town with many hidden treasures.
Our property is located on the beautiful Kailua Beach (the third house away from the water). Due to its unique design, Coral Estates can accommodate one couple or a larger group, with privacy for all. Our 7000 square foot main house has 20-foot high ceilings in the living room, 1200 squre foot master bedroom with jacuzzi, a large roof lanai with a 360-degree view of the ocean, the mountains, and more.
There are three separate entrances, as we rent smaller units all year round and our main house on holidays only. All bedrooms have modern full baths, high ceilings with efficiency fans and/or air conditioning, with large walk-in or mirrored double closets.
All units are tastefully decorated with original artwork, and are bright and clean. There is plenty to do for everybody here or you may choose to do "absolutely nothing" and just listen to the ocean and the birds.
This world-class beach is safe for children and great for adults.

We stayed at the Gardenia Studio, a room with two large beds, a large closet and its own bathroom & shower. The studio also had many conveniences: a small fridge, cooking hot plates, toaster, and all the plates, cups, glasses and utensils to prepare your meals, if you decided to do so. The place was clean, it had access to a washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board. In other words, it felt like a home away from home. The location had an automated gate and the entrance to the complex, as well as to each individual room, had a keyless security pad, giving you a great feeling of security. The complex was also a walking distance from Kailua Beach and less than five minutes to Kailua's downtown center where you had access to all the needed business stores: Macy's, supermarket, coffee shops, the Post Office, medical facilities, wireless access, and gasoline stations. Our experience with Anna, the owner, was quite pleasant. She provided us with all the information needed to have a great time during our stay in Kailua. She was also very flexible and accommodating. We rented an additional studio for our niece and husband. They, however, could not join us in Hawaii and canceled their trip. When we contacted Anna, she was very gracious and processed our refund promptly and expeditiously. Our stay was so enjoyable and convenient that we would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and relatives if they decide to plan a trip to the Paradise Islands of Hawaii.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We couldn't have chosen a place more conveniently located to Kailua Beach! We stayed in the "Jungle Room" which was basically a studio apartment. One large room with a seperate bathroom and closet. Bed was comfy, and we enjoyed being able to prepare breakfast in our room daily. The fridge was great, as was the coffee maker and hot plate. Our room was fairly clean. Anna was really nice and quite an amazing artist as well! We would stay here again and also recommend to our friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Location, location, location is the major asset of this nice villa. Only 2min walking to Kailua beach. Furthermore, Anna is a very kind host, very helpful and friendly which makes it easy to feel welcome. We had the pleasant Garden Room, which was clean and equipped with 2 very comfortable beds. During our 7 day stay the room fitted well for 2 adults and 2 small kids but might be a bit small for longer stays. A few things were not as expected: the selection of dish and cutlery has been a mix of different styles and generations, e.g. had we only 2 forks but more than 10 spoons. On this price level I would have expected a bit more luxury and style. Besides the huge TV (for which we didn't had a remote until we borroughed it from the neighbor) the electronic equipment was a bit scuffed. The "garden" behind our patio was very sandy and looked untended: the kids were not able to use it as an outside playground. The condition of the BBQ station looked also not really inviting. Nevertheless, overall we had a very nice stay and would recommend to come here.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband and I enjoyed a week at what is called in the neighborhood "the big house". Our room, the Hibiscus Room, was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were right next to the large communal kitchen which we used extensively as it had a large fridge, coffee maker, stove, microwave, and toaster. As advertised, the walk to Kailua Beach was very short, and the Kalapawai Market was super convenient a few steps away. Tasty shave ice is a short walk away at "Island Ice" where Obama goes when he's there. Town is not far by car. Anna is quickly available for any problems or questions, and is very friendly and helpful. A few caveats...however...some rooms are near Kalaheo Ave which is quite a busy street. We were troubled by the noise, but figured out how to muffle it with the a/c fan plus the overhead fan. Several rooms are in the back of the house and I'm sure, are quieter. Also, it should be noted, there are 19 steps to the upstairs rooms, which could be problematic for the disabled, elderly, or injured. One other small problem was arriving in the dark...as it was confusing which door to enter.. Perhaps a sign stating "This way to all rooms" would help. We also noticed that Kailua Beach was quite windy and the ocean choppy due to it. The water temp was perfect but it was a bit difficult to swim laps. All in all, tho, we would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Aloha Aleksandra and Ken, thank you for writing a review for us and helpful hint on putting a sign ”this way to all rooms”- it’s done already. One correction: we do not have communal kitchen. Upper part of the house rents as 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room unit. Only at the times when we have an unexpected cancellation, in order to fill vacancies, we rent individual rooms at a discounted price. The kitchen and the living room are offered then free of charge and 2-3 guests upstairs only may share it if they wish. A hui ho, Anna

The Coral House was perfect for our 12 day stay on Oahu! The home was so comfortable & convenient that we rarely left the area because it provided us the comforts of HOME and the excitement of VACATION! Clean, quiet, spacious, full of beautiful art, fresh flower arrangements, and all the toys you could imagine! Proprietors, Anna & Alex are great hosts & very giving with their time and assuring that we had a perfect stay. We enjoyed the upstairs room with the comunal kitchen & found it just suiting for our needs. We BBQ most nights & packed our cooler daily for our beach excursion, we biked daily, enjoyed the amazing sunrises, hiked, kyaked, scuba, paddleboard, and kite surfed when the wind allowed it all just minutes from the Coral House. We absolutely recomend this property and believe it is the PERFECT location when visiting Oahu!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: See you soon, Anna

This rental has five available rooms/suites, so is very suitable for small or large parties. The rooms are part of a well built house. My room was spacious with high ceiling, large bathroom and closet, very adequate kitchenette. The bed was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to insure that I had everything I needed. The amenities included beach equipment, on site laundry facilities, barbecue. The location is ideal, close to the beach, a market, and shops.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: We enjoyed your visit and hope that you will come back with your family. Ahui ho! Ania

Kailua is a fantastic, relaxing getaway with an amazing beach, so what could make it better? A fantastic location right next to the beach and a great little market that makes super good coffee and tasty sandwiches. Coral House was exactly as expected; close to the beach, clean, comfortable, quiet, and charming. Anna, was a great proprietess. We would absolutely recommend this property and stay again. Mahalo Anna, hope to see you soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We wanted a place for 12 with a beach that is easy to get to and safe for children. This very clean house is all that and more. It is close to everything. There are no rodes to cross to get to the powder sand beach. We stocked the refrigerator at COSTCO, and ate at the house for most breakfast/lunch/dinners: an unbelievable savings when we looked back on it. We walked a short half block back and forth to the beach to eat without having to change out of our swimsuits. We found a few things broken that previous renters did not tell the owner about; however, the owner is next door and very accessible when something is needed. We had a wonderful Christmas at the Coral House.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed staying in the Jungle studio: the details you placed to carry out the theme were remarkable. I enjoyed the wonderful paintings you have everywhere; are you the artist? The mountain lion fur is amazing. Marlin and Jean PetersRecommended for: Adventure seekers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2000
About the owner: I was born in Poland but lived in England, Libya, Canada and the Eastern USA before I discovered Hawaii. From all the islands, I chose Oahu because it has so many amazing places, beautiful beaches, incredible mountains, rich cultural life, unique historical spots, excellent international cuisine and relaxed island shopping. I live here from 2000 and every week discover yet another new place. People, nature, the weather, the ocean here are just perfect , really like in a paradise.
Why the Owner Chose Kailua:
I enjoy meeting new people and working from home. I am an artist and whenever possible I paint and sculpture. Having vacation rental property allows me to combine both.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Our house is located on #1 voted the most beautiful beach in the USA. Far away reef protects us from bid waves, white powder-like sands invite for long walks, there is plenty of shade on the beach- one can read for hours without direct exposure to the sun and play in shallow or deep water. Our guests may enjoy all water sports here. It takes only 17 minutes from Honolulu airport to the house from 10 to 20 minutes to all Oahau attractions.
