Look no further! We invite you to stay at our home, located on a large quiet Lake which is one of a four lake chain totaling over 1900 acres.
This property has woods on either side to ensure your privacy. The spacious yard is the perfect place for the kids to run and play or to unwind and relax in the hammock. The pier, with bench, juts out over the sandy bottom beach, where big and little fisherman alike will have fun catching a variety of fish, or take the rowboat out and try your luck elsewhere. The chain contains bluegill, sunfish, perch, crappie, small and large mouth bass, walleye, northern, and muskie.
This 2000 square feet home is surrounded by thousands of acres of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, which has some of the best ATV and snowmobile trails the northwoods has to offer. Both can be done right out of the large driveway! The forest also has many trails for hiking and biking. If you cross-country ski, there are many nearby trails or you can head out and tour the lake(s) and check out the islands.
For your indoor enjoyment, have fun challenging each other on the 7 foot game table, which includes pool, ping-pong and air hockey. A selection of DVD movies are provided that the kids and adults will enjoy watching together.
The screened sunroom, flanked by two new balconies, is the most popular spot in the house. Meals and hours of card games have been enjoyed there.
In the evening, gather around the large lakeside campfire ring for s'mores, star gazing and great conversation.
We keep our calender very up-to-date, so please refer to it for availability.
ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
*Special note to snowmobilers, if you choose to cancel your stay due to lack of snow, we will refund your money 100% only if the snowmobile trails are officially close for the duration of your scheduled stay.

My wife and I and a few friends stayed at the cabin in late August of 2011. It had everything one needs for a great quiet time in the woods on a lake. Kayaks, canoe, ping pong, games...you name it. It looks exactluy as it does in the pictures and there were no surprises. A great place to stay with close friends and/or family if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed time. The lake water can be murky, so you may want to do some research in advance to determine the conditions.
Owner response:Pike Lake is a flowage type lake that remains very clean throughout the year. It is however a "stained" lake which may add to it's clarity issue. There's no algee particles floating around in it like many other lakes can have, so it's a great lake to swim, boat and ski in!

We had an amazing vacation and stellar accommodations at Pike Lake. The house was comfortable and we loved the porch. It was everything that this site advertises and more. We hope to be back next year.

There were 6 of us that recently had the chance to stay the weekend at this beautiful lake house. We all had such a relaxing time and the scenery was just gorgeous. Close by we were able to go golfing and go through the wildlife park where there were many animals to see. We had the chance to walk with, pet and feed the deer. The following day we lounged around for the most part. Took out the fishing poles and fished right from the dock. We caught some pan fish, perch, and walleye. Our weekend was so refreshing and just what all of us needed from the hustle of every day life. We really appreciated this opportunity. We highly recommend staying here! There was plenty of room, the house was very clean, and there are plenty of activies!

The place is amazing! Everything as promised- nice and clean! The lake is quiet and the place offers a lot of privacy with all the woods around. The most important thing for us was (well, at least guys) was fishing. We have never had a better time doing it! We were catching huge bass, walleyes and pikes right off the fishing deck. We even had a close encounter with e huge musky, when he tried to eat our catch (28 inch pike tied to the fishing pier). When we got bored, we took fishing boat and explored the lake and the islands. Yes, there are two on Pike Lake and you can actually go there for a picnic. The whole experience with that place was amazing. We have found every possible thing there, that could make your time enjoyable. Even bicycles are there, so you can take them and explore the beautiful northern area. What a time we had. Thank you owners for a chance to enjoy your wonderful place and we will be back ASAP.

We stayed at the Pike Lake house over Labor Day 2010. There was more than enough room for our family of 4. We spent the days fishing, canoeing, and playing in the yard. We ate most meals in the screened-in porch and spent our evenings relaxing by the fire pit or reading in front of the fireplace. As our luck would have it, the local fire deparment's big fund raiser was going on and we got to see a great fireworks show. I would recommend the Pike Lake house to anyone who looking for privacy to spend quality family time. (we didnt use the TV, email, or cell phones for 4 days!). Good fishing right off the pier too. Caught a few over-sized crappie, and lots of panfish for the kids. Thanks to the owners for sharing this gem in the northwoods. We hope to come again and this time I will net that musky!

"We had a great time at your cottage the week of 7/18. Everything was just as we expected and as described in VRBO ad. The lake was great, nice and quiet compared to Round Lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat which we used often. The cottage was comfortable; our two girls loved the lower level with games/movies/etc. The weather was a little cool and but we all skied -- some of us even wore a dry suit! We had two fawns visit us several times near the driveway; we loved all the wildlife – ducks, loons, etc."

We had a wonderful time. The new decks are a wonderful addition - a great place for coffee and watching the lake in the morning. The weather wasn't the greatest but the cabin provides a lot of fun activities even if the weather outside doesn't cooperate. a Very clean, welcoming place to spend some time!

We had a fantastic weekend at the Pike Lake house. The house had all the amenities that we required as well as some things we didn't expect. We never left the property once we got there as there was so much to do. Our dog loved swimming in the lake as did we. Can't wait to get back in the Winter! Thanks again!!!

Our week at the cabin was wonderful. The weather was very good - it rained one afternoon and it allowed us to play games inside and take a nap. Our daughter and her boyfriend came up for the last two days and had a great time too. The cabin is so very nice and comfortable. All the toys made it a wonderful place to come to relax and play.
