This luxurious apartment, La Perle, is situated on the two top floors of an old village house in the medieval village of Haut de Cagnes. The view from the terrace, with a dining table and a bench, is absolutely stunning, both day and night. It´s like being on the bridge of a ship!
On the ground floor of the same building, there is a new built mini studio, "Le Cadet", with a small terrace in a little alley. It can sleep an additional 1-2 people (bed 120x200 cm), at an extra fee of 300 euros per week. Perfect if you travel with friends or your extended family!
The top floor apartment is recently renovated, and decorated in Provencal style, with a mixture of modern furniture and local antiques. The satellite TV offers many English speaking channels, and there is a small DVD library. There are also books and CDs. Telephone for local and incoming calls are included, and you can even have a fax and a printer. (The ground floor studio is connected to the same wireless internet, and it offers satellite TV, as well as DVDs, CDs, and books.)
On the lower floor of the La Perle duplex, there is a bedroom with a seaview and a double bed (two single beds that together form a king size bed of 180x200 cm). There is also a shower room, with beautiful, handmade provencal tiles, a washing machine, and a toilet.
On the top floor is the combined living/dining room, with an old fireplace and a open kitchen. The kitchen is small, but well equipped - two ring stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. There is also an electrical grill for the terrace. The living-room angle sofa is at the same time an easy-to-handle, comfortable double bed (140x200 cm). All along the main wall, there are windows and glass doors, opening to the terrace.
La Perle is a wonderful place to relax, both winter and summer!

Why the Owner Chose Cagnes-sur-Mer
The medieval village of Haut de Cagnes is a hidden gem! It sits on a hilltop, and is dominated by the 13th century Grimaldi castle. Coming here is like walking a couple of hundred years back in time. It is a world of its own, yet close to everything. We really have it all - the history, the art - and around 10 restaurants and bars. We are close to Nice airport, the beach, and all the famous places along the French Riviera. Trains and buses take you everywhere, so you don´t really need a car. The free shuttle bus that runs up and down the hill every 15 minutes, has a stop just outside the house. After a day at the beach, or at the museums, or shopping, it is wonderful to get back to the calm in Haut de Cagnes.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment with terrace/seaview
Just as much as I love the village, I love this apartment. That´s why I call it "La Perle". I have really done my best to make it beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. I live in another house, but from time to time, I stay for a couple of days or weeks in La Perle. To me, nothing beats having an evening glass of rosé on the terrace - watching all the glittering lights along the coast. In winter, it is wonderfully cosy to curl up in the sofa, in front of the fireplace.

I am Swedish, but have always wanted to live in France. About 10 years ago, friends offered me to stay for a couple of winter days in their house in Haut de Cagnes. When I went home, I had bought my first little place in the village. Like almost everyone who comes here, I had completely fallen in love - with the atmosphere, the people, the culture. Haut de Cagnes is now my home, and nothing makes me more happy than to share it with other people.
