This newly furnished home features cathedral windows with mountain and pine tree views from every room!The cabin is an easy drive from rapid city and is located central, to all activities. There is paved road access right to the cabin easement. Two large lakes are only 15 minutes from the cabin. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain Sculptures and Custer State Park are just a 30 min drive. Deadwood and, all it's attractions, along with the Sturgis Motorcycle rally, only a 40 minute drive west. The Badlands National Park and Wounded Knee are an 2 hours away.
For winter fun, enjoy skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing, mountains are only a 45 minute drive!

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
We require 35% down to hold a booking. The $500 security deposit can be kept on file only, with a credit card number . This is in case items are missing or extra cleaning is needed. If these things should happen, we may keep all or part of your deposit to make up for our losses, 5.5% lodging tax is applicable. We require the balance to be paid in full 8 weeks prior to your arrival. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. All
dog waste must be picked up before departing. The property is fenced for dogs safety.

DAVID, SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET BACK TO YOU, BUT WE DID HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME AT YOUR CABIN.WEATHER WAS IN THE LOW 100'S APART FROM THE LAST 2 DAYS WHEN IT FELL SHARPLY, BUT THE TEMPERTURE INSIDE WAS ALWAYS COMFORTABLE. This was our first time renting a home for our vacation. I must say that from now on this is the route we plan on taking for week long vacations frome here on out. All you need is your clothes everything else is here for your use and grocery stores near by so no need to bring coolers full of food. From the deer and turkey walking thru the yard in the evening to the many games and books for your enjoyment this home has far exceded our expectations. Conveniently located near alot of tourist destinations. This has certainly been an enjoyable experience. We drove from Texas and my brother and sister and their spouses came from Illinois. We met at this beautiful property and it was lovely. They have everything you could possibly need to be at home. We had all our meals at home and it was so comfortable. They have an amazing movie and music collection, although we didn't have time to enjoy them. We spent our days taking beautiful drives seeing the most lovely scenery. We especially like the Needles Hwy drive and Bear Country. And,of course, Mt Rushmore., We went to Crazy Horse and Deadwood., This property has a great location as it is far enough from town to see wildlife and enjoy beautiful scenery, net not too far to get to town for your groceries, etc, Thank you, David, for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home and for your personal attention to making us feel welcome. My wife & I and our two dogs spent a fantastic week at David's home in late September. The weather as great, the setting outstanding and the home was even better that the photos! Everything you could want in a vacation home is already included. Just add food (there was even some of that in the cupboards). The dogs loved the setting, our ability to ride in and out on our motorcycles was a big plus and we were just minutes from Rapid City and many of the Black Hills destinations. The stars at night were beautiful, even viewable from the master windows! The creek that runs near the property provides beautiful background sounds. The deer and wild turkeys came by several times a day to keep the dogs entertained. We could not have asked for a better base of operations and we will surely be visiting again! Mark & Kandy

Dear Dave, The pictures of this home do not do it justice. It is simply the nicest vacation home we have ever stayed in; as well as clean and beauftiful Every was amentity was provided for us. The views from the wrap around deck were just spectacular and the fenced in yard for our dog was a very nice addition. I would recommend this vacation property to anyone traveling to The Black HIlls, SD. We hope to travel back here someday and stay in this home again.!
