5 BR Beachhouse on Two Acre Beachfront Estate
- Minimum stay:Contact owner
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
Enjoy the sun drenched days of Negril on a two acre beach front estate offering uncompromised privacy with its two private beaches where swimsuits are optional. Only the hotel crowds are missing and the planned daily activities of resorts.
Hotels could not provide you with a more personable service than our staff which includes a housekeeper, cook, gardener and security guard from dusk to dawn. The staff provides 24 hour service and security every day of the week. A household guide is available in all the rooms at the house and can be printed from the web site. It requires an Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Resorts and hotels have long lines or require reservations for meals at specified times. Not here. Breakfast at 11:00 AM, lunch at 4:00 PM or dinner up until 7:00PM , no problem. Our staff will prepare legendary Jamaican cuisine while you enjoy the comfort and security of a large private estate.
With its four bedroom and guest cottage, this villa/beachhouse will accommodate groups and families up to twelve for the vacation of a lifetime. There are two master bedrooms downstairs each with a four poster, full-size bed under a canopy of mosquito netting. Each bathroom opens onto an outdoor shower for rinsing off after swimming. Upstairs there are three twin beds and a king sized bed sharing one bathroom; if necessary, the king size bed can be broken down into two twin beds. There is a back staircase which can be used as a separate entrance especially after swimming. There are room safes in the main house and the cottage. We also have a child's daybed, crib and two playpens.
With its vaulted living room ceiling the villa will resonate on a stereo system transforming it into an instrument itself. We have recently installed a 37' flat panel HD TV with local cable service. Internet access (DSL and Wi-Fi) and fax will keep you connected to the world if that is your need. If you have Itunes on your laptop you will be able to connect to the stereo system through Airport Express, otherwise there is a cable connected to the amplifier to which you can connect a MP3 player.
Shaded by centuries old cotton trees (kapok), almond and sea grape trees, the broad expanse of the lawns and beaches makes an ideal setting for a wedding in Jamaica. The seawall which juts into the sea is flanked by two beaches. Dining on the seawall for any meal of the day could be habit forming. Hammocks are all about the property and reflect an age old tradition in the Caribbean.
The tennis court has recently been converted back to its original grass court surface. Please contact us if you want the availability of a tennis professional; we will do our best to contact one for you. We also have a ping pong table, horseshoes and a croquet set. There are also the traditional board games.
The Negril Hills Golf Club is just five minutes from the property by taxi.
There are hammocks and benches scattered throughout the property. The word hammock is an Arawak Indian word, so are the words tobacco, barbecue and canoe. What a life! Thank you, Tom Robbins in Even Cowgirls Get the Blues for that little bit of linguistic history.
Negril has been called the Reggae capital of the world with a different live show every night. All the venues are within short walking or driving distances. Some guests have even enjoyed the shows sitting on the sea wall around a bonfire listening to the music as it bounces off the water from venues a mile away! As a result of a strong lobbying effort, the shows are now required to end at 1:00 AM in respect for those who would rather listen to the waves and the more natural sounds of the night.
There are small patch reefs, coral gardens and caves surrounding the property along a thousand feet of sea front. We provide snorkeling gear at no extra cost to appreciate this marine world. Four sea kayaks which are available to the guests, also, at no extra cost. The kayaks can be rigged for one or two persons and carry an anchor and line for snorkeling either along the cliffs or out on Long Bay among the numerous patch reefs. Unfortunately, we no longer have a sailboat nor the windsurfers. The personal workout center is on the veranda overlooking the sea.
For the land lubber who is not so adventurous, there is a turtle pond with three loggerhead turtles to feed and pet. These were given by local fishermen to keep them out of someone else's stew pot.
Airport transfers and excursions are available.

This was our second time staying at Llantrissant and we plan to return. The service was once again fantastic! We highly recommend having as many of your meals as possible prepared by the cooks. Not only is it more economical, but everything we ate was delicious. I don't think we had anything better when eating out. Our favorite area was the veranda. We spent most of our evenings there playing games. We are a game loving group that can get quite rowdy so it was really nice not to worry about bothering others. While the location is right in the heart of Negril, you still feel secluded. Many of us enjoyed the sea kayaking and snorkeling. The reef, which is just a few feet away from the shore, is teeming with life. We enjoyed jet skis and massages that came to us instead of us going to them. My brother and his new wife were celebrating their recent marriage. The staff was amazingly helpful with preparing a lovely dinner and accomodating the extra guests that came. I really can't say enough about Marsha, Paulette, Ann and Donny. They were the icing on the cake. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Llantrisant.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

We had a wonderful time in Negril? From start to finish; from early correspondence with Afua, introduction to Ramon, seeing the property for the first time and meeting the delightful staff, nothing could have been bettered. It is such a sublime location, the house is fabulous, the food cooked by Misses Ann and Paulette was superb and everyone connected with Llantrissant, whilst professional in everything they did, were also open, honest and extremely friendly. A magical time.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

From the wonderful service of the staff to the perfect weather conditions for the whole week, this was a week in paradise. The house and rooms have an old farmhouse type of appearance. Well maintained and amazingly clean. Wooden slat style windows allowing the house to be filled with fresh, cool air at night and throughout the day. The grounds and beach areas themselves were immaculately cared for and beautiful. The water was perfect for snorkeling in the morning. We had breakfast scheduled for 10 a.m. and I was snorkeling every morning for a couple of hours before breakfast. The water became choppy and had plant life churning up from the wind and waves by about 11 a.m. as the temperatures increased. The privacy and security of this villa made it possible to totally relax and enjoy our stay. Just a short walk to the nearby stores and bank. A few miles away is Rick's bar and grill with cliff diving and entertainment. I asked them to book a live band to help celebrate my retirement and we rocked Llantrissant on 12/12/12 with some awesome Jamaican style music. The same band played at Rick's that weekend where I saw them again. Jet skis, glass bottom boat rides with reef snorkeling, and messages are available from outside sources for a price at Llantrissant. They will be brought to you so you don't have to travel to the crowds. We work hard throughout our lives and sometimes create our own hell. At Llantrissant you have the opportunity to relax and create your own version of paradise.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We planned on getting married at the resort we were staying, but their restrictions on wedding guests staying at the resort or paying a fee lead us to look elsewhere...We came across The Llantrissant and it was truly a blessing that we did. My new husband and I can tell you, from firsthand experience The Llantrissant is an amazing Jamaica experience in lieu of a typical Caribbean resort style vacation and has the best value. About 8 of our family and friends stayed at The Llantrissant, which is also where our ceremony was held. The house is very close to Rick's and is the perfect balance between beach and cliffs (two must-see experiences in Negril). The beach is completely private and beautifully maintained and landscaped. The staff was amazing and made us all feel at home. They all went out of their way to help to make our special day one-of-a-kind. The food was very authentic and delicious...we even had a small reception on the lawn, where the staff helped us set-up, cooked, and even helped clean up afterwards. There were several beautiful spots to choose from to hold the ceremony and the cotton trees and rustic decor provided truly unique wedding photos. We had a total of 16 family and friends who came to the ceremony. I STILL continue to receive compliments on how perfect of a wedding spot this place was and all of the guests who stayed at Llantrisant STILL speak of returning... it truly was amazing!! I could not have asked for a better place to share our special day or a more intimate wedding with all the special people in our lives!! Thanks, Craig for all your help!! We hope to return in the near future :)Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This was our 6th visit to Negril and by far the best. We have stayed in several of the high end properties in Negril but enjoyed Llantrissant the best. The privacy is nowhere else to be found in Negril and we even had massages out of the veranda and seawall. We enjoyed the beach, sea kayaks, turtle pond and shell collecting. The staff is one of the highlights of the property. Ms. Ann and Paulette were wonderful cooks and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Mr. Benji and Ozzy (the drivers) are great and took us out on several excursions including the YS Falls and the Blue Hole. Even Sam the dog joined us in swimming in the ocean. The house is very historical from an era long gone . I was a little concerned about no air conditioning (since I keep my house 72 degrees) but we were all quite comfortable. There are fans in all the rooms and the house practically sits on the water so there are breezes constantly. Previous reviewers had complained about noise however, we only heard loud music on Sunday which comes from the local community center where the locals gather to hear various DJs. We actually walked over there to hear it. The music ended around 1:00 am so no big deal. We hope to return next year and stay longer. Thanks for a great vacation!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.
