Villa Manisé is a villa situated on the hillside of Rooi Catootje. It’s a private estate ideal for family vacations, couples, business meetings and retreats, private events such as intimate weddings, celebrity hideaway, and for entertainment.
The property consists of 26480 square foot of lush gardens, designed by the prestigious landscape architect Fernando Tabora from Chile. This meticulously designed garden is filled with over a hundred varieties of plants, flowers, flowing ponds, waterfalls and beautiful sculptures. Every element of the garden and villa has been designed to enhance and relax the spirit.
One of the best features of Villa Manisé is the magnificent infinity edged pool. This pool is 3230 square foot and is one of the biggest ones available among private villas on the island. It features a waterfall, diving rock, a Jacuzzi, a poolside gazebo, and an alfresco shower and restroom. Ultimate pool experience is guaranteed!
LOCATION: Villa Manisé is sited in an upscale residential area called Rooij Catootje, just a few minutes drive from town center. The beauty of this villa is that you are close to everything (several restaurants and shops are nearby), yet when you are at the villa you have the feeling that you are far away in your own piece of paradise. In reality you are in the outskirts of Willemstad, just 15 minutes away from the airport and less than 10 minutes away from Punda and Otrabanda - Curacao's historic town center with beautiful architecture. You're also just a short drive away from any of Curacao’s 30+ beautiful beaches. The nearest beaches being just 10 minute drive away.
THE VILLA: Construction of this contemporary villa started in 1989 and was completed in 1991. The villa is designed by award winning Swiss architect Mike Koch. The owners wanted to combine the elements of nature with the beauty and clean lines of modern architecture. Since the villa is not located on the water, they invested in a most spectacular and grand pool. You will truly not miss the beach when you see this pool!
The villa features: 7 bedrooms (6 twin beds, 2 king size beds, and 2 queen size beds, 6 full bathroom and 1 powder room, including one “al fresco”, fitness room (can be converted into an 8th bedroom with two single beds upon request), 7 TV’s and 7 DVD’s throughout the property, surround system in the living area, central AC in the bedrooms, ceiling fans in all the rooms, a meeting room for equipped for 6 to 8 people, secretary desk, computer, fax, copy machine, wireless internet, refrigerator, freezer, wine cooler, lounge area, and large windows offering spectacular garden and island views, 4 covered patios, Bar area with open terraces, entertainment center (including big screen TV and sound system), and outdoor round dining table for 10 to 12 guests, 4 kitchens, large propane barbeque grill, gazebo by the pool with hardwood lounge chairs, separate laundry area with washer and dryer, large infinity pool, outdoor Jacuzzi by the pool, walk trails in the garden, waterfalls and ponds, beautiful sculptures in the garden, bench by the pond, a covered garage and parking space for a second vehicle, remote controlled gates.
