Views south are of The Mediterranean (so close you can hear it!), south-west of the rugged conservation area on the hill opposite, and west towards the Sierra Bernia mountains for a dramatic skyline and just fabulous sunsets.
Located on the Costa Blanca half way between Javea and Moraira, Cumbre del Sol is within an area considered by the World Health Organisation to have one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world. It is a truly extraordinary hillside location with it’s own private beach, Moraig beach, just 5 minutes drive from the villa. On a clear day, magnificent views include east to Ibiza, Calpe’s famous Penon de Ifach and the stunning Montgo or 'Elephant' mountains. Cumbre del Sol has it’s own shops, restaurants, patisserie, bank and cafes within easy reach, some within walking distance of the villa. Alicante or Valencia airports are easily accessible.

The 3 bedrooms consist of 1 x Super King Size Master bedroom en-suite, 1 King and 1 Twin - and all feature quality British Divan beds with luxury Mattress Toppers. Finished off with Egyptian Cotton linens, we trust you will have a heavenly night's sleep! Both the en-suite and second shower room feature walk-in power showers, and are stylishly decorated in bright tiling. All bedrooms have French doors opening onto one of the terraces, and rooms throughout the Villa have curtains and voiles to ensure an extra homeliness, quite rare in rented property.
Outdoors - enjoy the private heated pool on the lower terrace, or dine Al Fresco on the upper terrace, where you have the choice of worshipping the sun or taking some shade under the Naya. An electric sun awning on the lower terrace provides additional shade - allowing you to lounge for longer by the pool! Stylish Hartman furnishings are provided, a top of the range Weber 3 Burner Gas barbeque, and even an outdoor heater to take any chill off the winter evening air. Polycarbonate tableware is also provided for safety around the pool. Wherever you choose to chill out at this villa, those stunning views are with you!

Casa Windlenook is the culmination of over 2 years of personal design and detailed planning by the owners - Mike and Eleanor. We became disenchanted with the standards offered by so-called 'luxury' villas on previous villa holidays, on one occasion even sleeping on the sofa for 2 weeks as it was more comfortable than the beds on offer in a four bedroom villa! When we go on holiday, as with most people, our time is precious and a villa which does not live up to expectations can be a real disappointment.

"Awesome"! Everything about this villa was organized and well thought through. The owners are very friendly and cooperative. The beds were the best I ever slept in in Spain which is known for having very hard mattresses in general. The wireless internet was working perfect and we would have been lost without it. The villa has one of the best views in the area and the heater on the terrace made it pleasant to sit outside in the evenings even in November. I can highly recommend this villa to anyone who needs a rest from the hustle and bustle of life!!!

As good as was advertised! Our stay was fabulous. The view of the Mederteanean from the patio while sharing a meal and wine with my wife we be remembered forever. The area was quiet in ealy October with less than 1/3 of the adjacent properties occupied. Moraria which is a short drive away is small enough to be foot friendly and large enough to be interesting. If you are in town at 10 am on any weekday be sure to go to the fish auction at the marina. A great place to relax and refresh.

Wonderful two weeks in an amazing villa! First of all, we have to thank the owner of the villa for a great communication and help at everytime. We could sent an email if we had problems and 5 minutes later we received an answer. Thank you for this unique cooperation. According to the house... We found a great house with all the equipment we needed and the pool is very very nice. Moreover, we profited from an amazing view from the terrace to the sea. The managers of the villa looked for the pool every 3 days and a cleaning team cleanded the house once the week. Concluding, there was nothing, we could have missed in the Casa Windlenook. To put in a nutshell, we all have been very happy during this two weeks and we enjoyed our stay very much. We only can recommend a stay in the Casa Windlenook. Thank you.

Worth every Euro! Through enquiry, booking and finally staying at Windlenook the attention to detail that Eleanor & Mike give to their rental is excellent. We wanted for nothing whilst we stayed at the villa; it is equipped to a high standard with everything you will need ...plus some more. The location is superb and very peaceful; an ideal spot to chill out. There is also plenty to do and see in the area if you feel inclined.

Great vacation on the East Coast of Spain! We had a wonderful week at Casa Windlenook. The house is amazing and the views spectacular. Everything was perfect, including the weather during our week's stay. Additionally,the town of Moriara is a great vacation town with lots of good restaurants and things to do with kids. If you can tear yourself away from the villa, you won't be bored!

5 star experience on the med - what a view - what a villa! Words cannot describe this vacation experience. From the moment we found the private villa on the VRBO website we never looked back. The owners responded to our inquires in a quick and friendly fashion and with a great deal of clarity. The organization of payment and acquiring the keys was very easy. Direction were specific and easy to follow. Now to address the vacation spot. As others have said the view is fantastic. The private pool was always at 32 degress celcius. The ammenities bar none. All rooms had an amazing view. Bedrooms are very private. The kitchen has all the applicances you would ever need -including a juicer that for us came in very handy. The fireplace in the living room and upscale BBQ were great additions. We cannot say enough about how positive this rental experience was for us. The owners left a very detailed manual addressing everything in the villa as well as places to visit and where to buy the essentials (and provided some on arrival which we very much appreciated). There is a plaza within walking distance with a couple of restaurants; however, it is important to note you do need a car to see the sites and the owners in there advertisement were very clear about this. Having said that the sites to see by car in a very short distance -10 to 30 minutes away are spectacular. This is a wonderful spot to spend time and regroup as a family, group of friends or a romantic hide a way. Don't hesitate to investigate this vacation spot. As a last note the couple who act on behalf of the owners are very gracious and helpful in becoming familiar with the villa.

We experienced a marvellous holiday. We all loved the beautiful and well equipped villa, the interior design, the magnificent view, the sounds of nature and so much more! Our 88 year old mother really enjoyed her birthday – which we started by opening the cooled bottle of Cava that you kindly provided for us. We appreciated all the hospitality and thank you for having created a great holiday home!
