We stayed here for a weekend while moving waiting to move into our new apartment. We stayed on the first floor, one bedroom apartment and it was great. The couch was super comfy! The ONLY draw back was there was no remote for the TV. But hey, who on vacation is going to be sitting around watching TV while in MAUI!?!??! No one.... The bed was comfortable and we loved having the ceiling fans. I was a little hesitant when I saw the shower, but it worked out well and I did not feel cramped at all while in it. The towels were nice and plush. The bathroom also had a huge counter in it! We really enjoyed the island in the kitchen and having an oven was big bonus! Another big plus was the fact that Kathy let us check in early! I know that it is not always possible, but she said she would see what she could do as check in time is normally three, but she made it work for us and it was a GREAT help! We didn't utilize it, but the BBQ area looked really nice and they had chaise lounges in the grass. We will definitely suggest this rental to our friends and family and would stay here again in the future if it was an option!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We (two adults and two small children) stayed for two months in one of the one bedroom apt on the ground floor. Everything was very good and the owners helped with everything we asked them about. Very good place for children, big garden and no traffic. The apt was tidy and had everything we needed. We can warmly reccomend this place for both shorter and longer stays!!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

We have travelled a very very long distance (Hamburg, Germany) to see this nice place of Maui. It was our silver Wedding holiday and the first Maui vacation. We ahve enjoyed it very much. We have loved to take breakfast in the sun. Everything was perfect, Mahalo.

Aloha Rich and Kathy, We had a last minute change of plans and consider ourselves very lucky to have found an opening in your schedule. The apartment is just great. Comfortable and well supplied. We found a great local walk to the coast by walking toward the community centger then down the gravel road on the side of the pineapple field. we enjoyed great meals at Milagros in Paia. We ventured off toward Hana and did some hiking and discovered the Keanae Landing. I forgot to mention that I found your website via google earth. Thanks for your lovely place and for looking after us. Mahalo.

The 5th trip for my son and daughter-in-law (in love) and the fourth for me was every eventful but as usual WONDERFUL. All 3 of us sailed (at varying skill levels) as we are windsurfers and did our best to stimulate Maui's ecomomy. But it was wonderful to make new friends, Rich and Kathy in whose pleasant apartment we relaxed each evening. The tenant from Hell (hello William) brought us together and for that we thank him. Great Vacation! We are ready (ha) for winter in PA & NY

Dear Kathy and Rich, We had such a memorable time here- seeing a very early whale on Saturday, surviving the "great Quake" of 2006 (let us hope it is the only one!) The torrential downpours and thunderstorms of the following day! Thanks for bringing over the propane equipemnt after the quake. Fortunately we didn't need it long, but it was great to know you cared about your tenants so much. There may have been "hardships" in the highrises of Honolulu, but we were "chillin" here!!!!

Dear Kathy, We enjoyed our 3 weeks holiday on Maui very much. It is a wonderul and interesting Island. Great for windsurfing, surfing and relaxing and hiking. It is really a nice place to be. Aloha Rich and Kathy, We had a great time her in Maui! The Island is beautiful, the climate is great and almost everyday lots of wind! The apartment was very nice and comfortable and you guys were very helpful and thanks for the island fruits. We really liked them! For us Dutchies it was a long way (24 hr travelling) but it was worth it. We came to Maui because it is one of the best windsurf places of the world and now we can say that is really TRUE!
