We recently spent 8 days on Kauai and stayed in this beautiful condo. We were greeted with a note on the door welcoming us and inside a bottle of wine and snacks. The condo was perfectly located - easy for us to walk to shopping malls, beaches and resorts next door. The grounds and pool were beautiful and immaculate; the people were inviting and very accommodating. Cam, the owner, stopped in twice to see how we were doing. The weather was more humid than expected so the beautiful pool was our escape. Unfortunate the condos don't have air conditioning. The Beach House Restaurant and Brennecke's are a must! All in all, we had a great time.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

We recently stayed for 11 nights, loved watching the surfers during the day, and the sunsets every night! 2 minute walk to the closest beach. Walked to Poipu Shopping Village daily for coffee, and dining (Roys, Keokis Paradise, Puka Dogs, Papalani Gelato, Starbucks, Tropical Burgers). Unit stayed pretty cool most days, but we did have to buy fans for our pregnant lady in the group. Unit 51 seemed to be the best location in Poipu Kapili, would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay on the south shore of Kauai.

My family had a wonderful stay! The photos do not do justice to the beauty of the unit, the relaxing views and fantastic amenities. My two children loved all of the beach toys and games available, as well as the refreshing pool. We were never in want of an air conditioner with the claming and cooling trade winds. The unit is beautifully decorated, very spacious, and very clean. The ocean waves lull you to sleep each night and calmly wake you each morning. We were able to take beautiful day trips to Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast, The Poipu area has great shopping and restaurants. The owner was gracious and helpful. We highly recommend this property and would love to return someday.

Mahalo for letting us stay at your beautiful condo. #51 was the perfect sanctuary for our family while we visited Kauai. We enjoyed snorkeling at Poipu Beach, boogie boarding, swimming in the pool, the gorgeous Waimea Canyon, the Helicopter ride, the Luau, the Spouting Horn was fun, the Botanical Gardens and we even toured the Kauai Coffee Company. Thank you for the beautiful views from your place while we had meals at your table and outside lanai. Although our main purpose this trip was to chill, we certainly accomplished that and much more.

My wife, two children (7 and 10) and mother stayed in Kauai at Poipu Kapili #51 for 8 days. It was our first trip to Kauai, which is a wonderful island with many things to see and do. Our stay at Poipu Kapili #51 was one of the highlights. The resort itself is even nicer than it appears in photos. It's a truly beautifully landscapped property, with very tasteful planatation-style architecture. The t-shaped pool, expansive green lawns, lush surrounding gardens, and ocean-front views are really wonderful. Unit #51 is one of the best units in the development, situated ideally ocean-front and on a corner, providing sun and views from two sides virtually all day. The unit is spacious - our family of five was able to spread out comfortably. The master bedroom on the second floor is huge and directly faces the ocean and at night, the sound of the surf crashing permeates the bedroom. The unit is very tastefully decorated with bamboo floors and furniture, a fully equipped kitchen and had everyting we needed to enjoy dinners on the lanai. There were also beach toys provided, which our kids loved. Each evening we would walk the short distance to the Sheraton beach next door for a swim in the ocean. We wouild stay at Unit $51 again for sure and can recomend it without reservation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Poipu Kapili #51. This is a private rental in a very nice resort/condo complex situated right next to the ocean. The resort has a beautiful pool and well kept grounds. The views from the condo are extraordinary with long, magnificant sunsets every night. You would think that our kids (ages 10,17 and 21) would find it boring but there was so much to do at the resort and on Kauai that there was never a dull moment. I definitely recommend #51 at Poipu Kapili.

We stayed here for 5 days in May, 2010. It was one of the most well stocked condos we have ever rented. It was in a great location with a wonderful ocean breeze. We enjoyed the green area as well as coffee on the outdoor patio in the morning. It was a little noisy in the early evening due to locals parking on the street but they left early enough. The sunset from the condo is beautiful. We would return again. Carol Milford, Ohio 45150
