Thanks Thomas and Kristine for the opportunity of staying at your lovely condo. We found the location perfect; close to downtown, the Marina and shopping for groceries at Soriana, and of course the wonderful array of restaurants!! This is our 6th visit to P.V. and our first in the Hotel Zone. The condo itself had all the amenities required to be self-sustaining and the view from the balcony was truly awesome. The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. Travelling downtown by bus is in itself quite the experience and as always, very reasonable (13 pesos per couple). Cab fares are very reasonable as well. Ahhhh the restaurants continue to offer such an incredible array of cuisine. We visited our old haunts; River Calfe on the River Caule (best margaritas; especially from noon to 4:00 pm when they are 2 for 1!!); La Terazza Di Roma (at the Marina) which offers wonderful pasta and pizza. La Dolce Vita on the Malaecon also a lovely Italian Restaurant. One of our new favorites was Casa Isabel which sits hillside overlooking the Bay. Wonderful food and live music. This city has enough incredible restaurants and bars to keep everyone happy! All in all, it was a wonderful vacation filled with sand, surf and lots of sunshine. Something for everyone. Thanks again Thomas and Kristine...you certainly have a lovely gem in Paradise!
Owner response:Wayne & Dawn - We are so happy you enjoyed your stay in our slice of Paradise! You are so right about PV - so many great places to visit and food to eat! Thank you!

We spent 9 wonderful days in Puerta Vallarta. The condo is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view from the balcony is beautiful. We saw dolphins and humpback whales swimming by.The beach in front of the condo and Holiday Inn is lovely to walk along or if you choose to sit under a palapa watching the action of tourists and vendors. There's a bus stop very close to the condo and the bus will take you anywhere you want to go in Puerta Vallarta. There's a laundromat a block away. We had a number of wonderful meals and would recommend Cheeky Monkey, Peppi's, Barcelona Tapas and close by in the Peninsula Mall Desantos. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner. She quickly answered all our inquiries and happily provided information for us. We would recommend this condo without hesitation.
Owner response:Andrea & Brian - so glad you enjoyed your time in PV and in our condo. You know now why we call it our "home away from home"! The balcony views are wonderful and I find myself spending a good portion of my days just sitting on the balcony and looking out. Good news - there are now laundry facilities in the complex itself on the 2nd floor. They just opened. So a bit more convenient then the other laundromat. Glad you enjoyed the city buses - they are a great way to get around. Taxis are also easy to get right outside the lobby and are very economical.

Thank you so much for having us in your wonderful condo. It was just as the pictures depict - very well appointed and exceptionally clean! It had every thing we needed and the view was amazing. We enjoyed the ambience of the Holiday Inn and the location is fantastic - close to many ammenities and the bus stops right outside the complex. We definitely recommend your condo and look forward to returning!

We visited this property in January 2010. The positive reviews and a previously good experience we had with another VRBO rental, made this a relatively easy decision. This property was very clean and well situated. Everything that you could possibly need for a resort vacation is in the suite. The communication with the property owner was top-notch; always extremely prompt and informative. Not only did we get great responses to our questions, but always a little bit more. The property manager left a note on our door inviting us to contact her, but there simply wasn’t a need. The housekeeper came by three times in our two weeks and was very thorough. The condo itself has most everything you need for a couple to be comfortable. It has plenty of room and feels much larger than it really is. The kitchen is very basic and is equipped well enough to prepare simple fare. In fairness, though, we didn’t need it for anything more complicated than making sandwiches for lunch, as all of our dinners were at the great restaurants in town and at the Marina. The bed is comfortable and wide but a bit short for taller people. The bathroom was clean and the shower was large and had terrific pressure and plenty of hot water. If we had one complaint about the property, it would have to do with the adjoining Holiday Inn resort. We had a light dinner our first night at the resort and learned enough to focus our meal choices elsewhere. This wasn’t a big deal though. The pool was great and not terribly competitve for poolside seating. As long as you were out between 9 and 10 in the morning you could reserve your preference of lounge chairs. The pool wasn’t cleaned perfectly, but wasn’t bad enough to keep us out of the water. You can tell that the resort is showing signs of age although there is constant evidence of maintence and repair. This property was located perfectly for us to explore PV. There is a short walk to catch the bus, which shouldn’t be a problem for most people. And if you like adventure, don’t pass on the opportunity to ride the buses. This will be the best 65 pecos you’ll spend. The condo is within walking distance to a grocery store and mall. All in all, we had a very nice vacation and would recommend this rental to anyone without reservation.

We stayed at this property in mid-August 2009, the "green" season. Going into it, we knew it would be hot and humid, and wanted a comfortable home base to come back to at the end of our daily adventures. This condo was immaculately clean, very thoughtfully appointed, and well situated for travel to any part of PV, Nuevo Vallarta, or the surrounding areas. I have never had a nicer experience working with property owners or managers. The owners responded to all contact promptly, courteously, and with tremendously helpful ideas and advice. The manager came by during the week to check in and make sure we were enjoying our stay. The housekeeper who came mid-week was thorough but unobtrusive. Top-notch, all around. The condo itself has everything you need for a couple to be comfortable and feel cared for. Thoughtful touches are everywhere, from the sunscreen and bug spray passed on to the next group of travelers to the boogie board and movies provided for your entertainment and convenience, the condo's full of what you need to feel really at home. The kitchen is plenty large to cook simple, homey meals for 2-4; the bed is comfortably made and large (if a bit short for 6-footers like us); the shower has excellent water pressure. Comfy! The only negative note of any kind that I'd put on this, and the reason for a 4 star instead of 5, have nothing to do with the condo itself, which was outstanding. The Holiday Inn and its amenities were...not the best. The staff was unpleasant at times, the pool was overcrowded and dirty, the beach is crawling with peddlers, the restaurants are simply lousy. We came to a condo at a hotel so that we'd have the option of doing an all-inclusive stretch, lounging poolside and at their beach, but after two meals we said "no way" and one lengthy swim (and the attendant rash) were enough. We stayed away, or in the lovely condo, after that. So, all in all, I'd say this is a *perfect* place to stay if you plan to stay in, or to spend your time out enjoying the many tours, shops, and sights. It's a great condo, and you'll be well taken care of on that side. However, avoid the HI--especially if you're very Anglo; we got the distinct impression that we got the gringo cold shoulder, despite speaking Spanish. Just, be prepared; it's a great deal less friendly than most tourist venues.

We just returned from our trip to PV and wanted to comment on how pleased we were with the condo. It was perfectly located to go basically anywhere by bus or even by foot. The bed was very comfortable, the unit was fastidiously clean and the staff were immensely helpful. The condo was furnished as described, but it also had everything in which to make meals in if you so choosed. We used it as our home base and it fit perfectly. Every question I had was answered immediately from the owners, with extra suggestions and tidbits in the guest books in the unit to complement our holiday. If you are looking for a place to stay, you can't beat this unit. It was high enough up for wonderful views. The transaction to rent it was our very first time and we woudl do it again in a heart beat. The owners care about their place and it shows. Thank you for having us and we'll be back!
