This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The 1st time was June 2010 into July 2010 We were there for two weeks. We had a wonderful time, my best friend went with us. Within the first month after we got home I had booked it again for the following year for a month. We have three grown kids with 6 grandchildren, that was part of their Christmas gifts. They each got a week with my best friend again staying the last two weeks with us. Rosa is absolutely wonderful. We shared recipes with her and showed her some things we like as she did us. 5TH Ave.is real close, and fun to go shopping at. I'm looking again to check it out for next year. The beach is great and it feels like you have it all to yourselves. A PIECE OF HEAVEN A+++++ RATING. CAN YOU TELL WE LOVE IT???

My two girlfriends and I stayed at Casa Price mid February 2011. The location was great with the beach 1/2 block away and downtown Playa 10 blocks away. The house is very nice and very clean. Rosa is an excellent cook and it was nice to have her around. She made enough food that we usually ate at home in the evenings as well. Having access to the nearby hotel was nice also. We went one day for $45 all you can eat (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and drink until 6PM. BUT do yourselves a favor and do not try and leave the hotel through the front door. You can't get to a street that goes back to the house. You have to walk there via the beach. The one day it was cooler out we spent our time in the sun up on the roof where it was warmer. I would definitely return to this property and have recommended it to others already.

This was our second time staying at Casa Price and we loved it!! The location is very convenient and the house very comfortable. We are a family of 4 (with 2 boys aged 5 and 7). The newly restored beach in front of the casa is perfect for kids. It's also great to be able to walk to Playa del Carmen in 15 minutes by beach. Rosa is wonderful and she is an amazing cook. She helped with groceries and anything else we needed. We definitely hope to return soon and recommend Casa Price for a fun and relaxing vacation.

I have stayed at Casa Price on two different occasions and have loved it both times. Rosa makes such a difference on the amount of money you will spend on food. If you wanted you could eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the villa. I travel with other women, and we do like to go to Playa del Carmen for dinner most nights, but it isn't necessary. Rosa has a menu, and you select what dishes you want her to prepare, and then you go to the grocery with her. Cabs cost $5 to drive to Playa del Carmen, and you could order one from the Fisher's "something", which is a couple of blocks from the villa. Also, if you are used to walking, the walk into Playa del Carmen, is about a 20-30 minute walk. On my last visit, we carried the chairs to the beach each day, and enjoyed sitting in the sun, looking at the ocean. On a future trip, I believe I will e-mail the owner and ask that Rosa put out the chairs and the beach towels, so we could use them on Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, you need to wait until Monday, when you see Rosa. I hope to return this coming year. Thank you, Becky

Our family of 5 adults stayed for 5 days here in November 2010 and enjoyed it very much. The location was great right near ocean and in a gated community for added security. Jolene was easy to work with in helping us secure the reservation. Rosa who came with the house was as delight. She made us a couple of dinners, one being a delicious chicken and mushroom dish and the other a enchilada dish. She is there when you need her but not an intrusion. I would recommend this VRBO.

Relaxing, beautiful and carefree stay

My husband and I and our toddler enjoyed a wonderful week at Casa Price. Beautiful weather and our first time in Mexico - we enjoyed mornings on the beach, siestas after lunch, and long walks in the evenings. Casa Price is a great home away from home and Rosa made our stay extra special with great meals and warm welcomes. We'd definitely stay here again if and when our travels bring us back to the Cancun area.

Our family of 5 (3 kids 12,16,17) stayed at Casa Price for spring break and all of us thoroughly enjoyed this clean, comfortable, and remarkable home. The location is perfect, with easy beach access and beautiful views of the ocean - especially from the roof! The grounds of Playacar are clean, pretty, safe, and comfortable. Rosa is such a special addition to staying at Casa Price and we were so glad to get to know her and have her help us with any needs we had. None of us would change a thing about our vacation and we will try to return if possible.

We spent a week at Casa Price in March and loved every minute of it--the quiet neighborhood, the views of the ocean from the roof and balcony, and the very short walk to the beach. The reviews about Rosa attracted us to the villa, and she exceeded all expectations. She was delightful and her food was delicious--our personal favorites were the chilaquiles, daily fresh guacamole, and shrimp jambalaya. Our girls especially loved her vegie tamales. Rosa was available when needed, but not at all obtrusive when we were busy. We ate a couple meals in town, and enjoyed them, but would have been just as happy to eat at Casa Price instead. The price for our groceries for the week was less than the cost of our restaurant meal on La Quinta the night of our arrival. The walk into town was a good 15 minutes with children, but we often walked into town, then sent the younger or more tired members of our group back to the villa in a taxi. Jolene Price (the villa's owner) was very helpful in arranging our accomodations and following up on our questions before and after our stay. Thank you, Jolene, for sharing your beautiful villa with our family! This was our first trip to Playa, but we will definitely be coming back and would love to stay at Casa Price again.

My husband and I and another couple just returned home from an awesome week at Casa Price. We had never done anything like this before, our only experience had been in all inclusive resorts. From the second we walked in the door and were welcomed with a friendly greeting from Rosa, till we left for home (with a suitcase full of clean laundry) our vacation was wonderful. The house is very nice, and has all the accommodations you could need. The views from the balcony and rooftop are breathtaking!! It is just a short walk across the street to the beach, which is more private than an all inclusive. We brought our cooler and chairs, and just relaxed on the beach everyday. Rosa is the best, she feels like one of the family!! She is an excellent cook, has a great sense of humor, and is very helpful and informative. She made our trip so much more enjoyable. Joleen was very helpful and easy to work with. We will definitely return again, this is soooo much better than an all inclusive!

Wonderful time at Casa Price

We are group of seven single friends in their 20's and 30s and stayed at Casa Price for 10 days. We have rented vacation homes before as we do not like resorts and we enjoy cooking at home. We loved the house and I would definitely stay again! The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. I especially liked the views of the ocean and we all actually enjoyed the extra walking to town, it helped burn all the extra calories we were consuming!!! That area of Playacar is very pretty and relaxing and the beach is great just a block away. Rosa was very sweet, she made some tasty things and accommodated a few of us that are picky eaters (vegetarian, no spice). Boy do I miss Playa, we had the best time and we had no problems at all. It was a perfect vacation!

We just returned from a beautiful week at Casa Price. This was our first time renting a vacation home as opposed to staying in a resort. Everything from beginning to end was perfect! Casa Price is a clean, comfortable perfectly located vacation home. Rosa is absolutely wonderful! Her cooking is delicious and she has a great personality. We travelled with 2 children aged 4 and 6 and the beach and access to Reef Club is perfect for kids. Loved everything about Casa Price and cant wait to return!!

This lovely home in PDC is exactly as advertised. In a great neighborhood, barely one block from the beach with ocean views. The house itself is very nice, simple elegant style, tile floors, great air and light. We were a group of adult siblings taking our mom on vacation for the holidays and found this to be a perfect home base. We came from all over-- la, edmonton, boston and houston and PDC is a very convenient spot for that kind of reunion. For those who wanted to scuba, get a massage, hang by the pool (i.e. all the typical resort amenities) they could go to the adjacent resort with the guest pass that comes with the house. Those of us that like our beach simple-- towel, novel, quiet-- went to the neighborhood beach basically in front of the house, and we had it to ourselves all week. 5th street is a 15 minute stroll away-- perfect for a morning walk to a cafe or after dinner amble home. And of course, as everyone says, it was great to have Rosa who took very good care of us. A clean house every day, fresh squeezed oj and breakfast and then (when we got our act together) she would prepare a big family dinner at 2 or so in the afternoon. we'd graze for dinner or go over to 5th street for some noshing. For us it was a million times better than a hotel because we were in a much nicer place (for less money than we would have paid for 3 rooms) with all of the amenities of a resort available, plus much more personalized attention from the owner and Rosa. A really special vacation.

My 3 girlfriends and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week at Casa Price in November. I had stayed in resorts in Playa Del Carmen several times with my family. The resorts do not compare to staying in this comfortable Villa, with Rosa and her authentic Mexican meals. This Villa is in a gated community within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The Reef Resort pool access was an added bonus - just steps away. The beach was awesome, never crowded. I would highly recommend this beautiful, spacious Villa. It is a one of a kind vacation with Rosa's cooking! I hope to return soon.

My husband, another couple, and I stayed at Casa Price in November 2009. We had stayed in resorts in Playa Del Carmen several times, but never in a Villa. Our experience there was fantastic. The villa is beautiful, in a fantastic location, clean, and has Rosa,a wonderful cook and housekeeper. We had wonderful views of the ocean and were able use the pools at the resort steps away if we chose to, free of charge. I cannot say enough good things about Rosa. Her cooking was great and very authenic Mexican. She even shared her recipes with us!!!! The villa is very close to town and a super selection of restaurants if you choose to eat out. However, you would never need to leave the villa if you didn't want too. I can't wait to return!!!!

We stayed at Casa Price for our second anniversary and it was fabulous!! The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view from all floors. The Reef club was an added bonus offering access to all their pools, the beach, beach chairs and water sports. Rosa could not be any more accommodating and her cooking is to die for! Having the option to eat at home with fresh, authentic mexican food proved to make our trip the most relaxing. What an amazing time we had!! Highly recommend planning your next vacation to Casa Price. The home has everything you would expect and more. After a good nights rest from listening to the waves lapping the shore, we woke to Rosa's smiling face and fresh squeezed OJ, tropical breezes, and crystal waters. My husband and I just got back from a week at Casa Price and can't say enough about how wonderful it was. This was our first time at a villa rather than a resort, and we will never go back to resort vacations. The owner is extremely nice and easy to work with, the process was simple, fast, and painless. The rental is a good value, even though we didn't need three bedrooms. It didn't feel like a waste of money and space, I would definitely recommend this for couples as well as groups. The master bedroom suite is spacious, really nice and very comfortable. The other two bedrooms are also very nice. The pictures don't convey how light, airy and pretty the house is! It's extremely clean, comfortable and set up with everything you could want or need. The location and views are really special. Sleeping at night with the sound of crashing waves and the ocean breeze was heaven. Rosa is just lovely, warm and friendly, and her cooking is off the charts! It's so nice not to have to go out for every meal, especially after a long day in the sun and ocean. We spent one day at the resort next door, and got spa treatments at another nearby resort, so it was the best of both worlds. We will definitely return, and highly recommend Casa Price!

My 3 girlfriends and I spent a week at Casa Price in May to celebrate turning 40. The house itself was perfect for us. We were also very happy with the location and its proximity to the beach and to 5th Avenue. We spent our days seeing the sights, hitting the beach and shopping. We spent our evenings on the back porch, eating Rosa's phenomenal cooking and listening to the waves. I would highly recommend Casa Price for people who are looking for a place that is private, safe and still in a convenient location.

My husband,I and another couple have stayed at Casa Price twice and enjoyed it so much we are now planning our third trip and taking our children. The house is beautiful,and waking up with the ocean breeze blowing thru your room is wonderful. The house is very open. The view of the ocean is exquisite, and the temperature was always comfortable. I must say i have never enjoyed a vacation quite as much as the time i spent at Casa Price in Mexico. Rosa was great from the start. She was soo personable and at our request, she prepared delicious authentic mexican food. You can't get that a hotel. The villa, Casa Price, was clean, well furnished, and right at the beach with the best view. I will say that initially i was concerned about the villa not being equipped with air conditioning, but with the cool ocean breezes and ceiling fans throughout the villa, i was more than comfortable throughout my stay. I've been visiting Playacar for years, and have stayed at a number of more expensive villas, but none compared to Casa Price. It's the best bargain in Playa. Also, I highly recommend walking down to 5th Avenue for great shopping and "local color", only about a ten minute walk from the villa.

We just returned from a week at Casa Price. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well located. All in all, a charming setting and a great experience. Rosa was truly a delight. My wife and I shopped with her for groceries and she cooked for us daily: breakfast, fresh juice, lunch, guacamole, salsa--her cooking skills are exceptional. In addition to that, Rosa is a warm, sunny presence in the home. We had one or two glitches, but Rosa was always available to solve our problems. We had 4 young women in our group. They loved the access to town and beaches. There's no AC, but the house is filled with fans and does receive the Carribean breezes. June was HOT. I'd have preferred AC, but the "natural" cooling made it quite tolerable. We'd come again in a heartbeat!

We just returned from 2 glorious weeks in Playa del Carmen. We stayed at Casa Price and it was the most enjoyable stay in the 10+ years we have been going to Mexico. The house was open and cheery and thanks to Rosa very clean. Rosa was the BEST!!! She cooks great food and will go out of her way to help you with anything. By the time we left she was more like family than the "keeper of the house". We will certainly return to Casa Price in the future!

Casa Price is a wonderful home located close to the beach. Rosa, the housekeeper, is an angel. You will feel like you have known her your whole life. The house is more than you expect looking at the pictures. You are 5 minutes walking, or you may take a cab for 5 dollars, to downtown Playa del Carmen.

My daughter, sister, niece, friend and myself enjoyed a "Women's Retreat" in Playa del Carmen at Casa Price. It was wonderful!! We had a beautiful home, which felt very much like home, and an awesome view from the balcony. We were located close enough to the downtown area so that we could take in some evening entertainment, but still secluded enough to enjoy the quite days. The house was always spotless and we had all are needs at arms length, plus Rosa was there daily to make sure we were comfortable. We felt like royalty!We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to do another retreat sometime soon.

We just returned from our 3rd stay at Casa Price and it was beautiful as usual. The house had no damage from hurricane Wilma. Everything was in working order including a new charcoal grill. Rosa was her pleasant helpful self. She was busy each day cooking great meals and of course the fresh orange juice each morning. Playa del Carmen is up and running, no trouble with taxis or airport transportation. Our only regret was coming back to the states.

My family spent an enjoyable week at Casa Price in October 2004. We were a little apprehensive renting a house sight unseen on the internet but the house was even better than pictured and described. The views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea from almost any room in the house will take your breath away. Plenty of cool ocean breezes and ceiling fans in every room keep the house comfortable all day long. The nearly private beach is right behind the house across a small residential street. The beach is even cleaned on a daily basis! No venders or time share hawkers on this stretch of beach. To start each morning with a cheery HOLA from Rosa was great. Her cooking was fantastic and she even did a couple loads of personal laundry for us. She is able to adjust her menus to accommodate young childrens picky tastes and will even cook vegetarian meals. Although she only cooks breakfast and lunch, we always had plenty of leftovers for supper when we didnt want to venture out. Joleen was a pleasure to work with. You can rent from her with confidence. I just wanted to say that we've rented a different house in Playa 3 years in a row and Casa Price is our new favorite. We loved it so much that we intend to go back in '06. Rosa was wonderful! So friendly, accomodating and helpful. The house was perfect for our needs... really close to the beach, great layout, all the amenities we could ask for. The terraces were wonderful and we especially loved hearing the surf and looking out most windows and seeing the ocean. We loved that we could just walk down a short foot path and be at the beach. There was no need for A/C as the ocean breezes kept us cool and comfortable all night. We didn't experience Rosa's great cooking this time, but next year for sure. Stayed one week with family of four,including two teenagers. Great comfortable home. Very easy to live in. Home is one block from water and invites ocean breezes and sounds into every room. Upper rooftop deck is very private and allows for daytime sunbathing and nightime relaxation while overlooking Cozumel. Rosa does an amazing job in keeping house. Home located in very pleasant community of other homes. We found home perfectly located to explore regions of Quintana Roo. Although all of the beaches you will need are nearby, home is not for those expecting to walk out of home directly onto large expanse beach. Will stay again when traveling to region.

Casa Price was a fantastic place to spend our long weekend. The house was comfortable and clean with great furnishings. The nearby beach was also quite nice with some cool little fish to see while snorkeling. The city was very close by.... Rosa is incredibly friendly and hospitable not to mention makes amazing desserts (among all her other fantastic cuisines.) This property will really be a great place for a mexican getaway!!

This was our family's first vacation to the Yucatan. Playa del Carmen is the best place to be, and we were very lucky to have found Casa Price. Everything advertised is true. The house is spacious, especially when you have two grown daughters who like to sleep in. Rosa is wonderful, her cooking superb, and the walk to town (about 15 minutes)is easy. You won't be disappointed.

It's been three years since we visited Casa Price but the memories are still very vivid. We booked everything online and we were nervous until the key opened the door to a beautiful home, which we could call our own for one whole week! Rosa was a wonderful hostess and she was so accommodating to our vacation needs. Even though our Spanish was very limited, the international language of charades always works! The beach, the sand, the view...the swimming, the walks, the weather - all of it fabulous. Another wonderful thing was that the town of Playa and all its offering was just a 10 minute walk away. It was also a lot of fun to look at the beautiful homes and explore the Mayan ruins along the way. Without hesitation, we recommended the house to some folks and they went this January. They loved all of it! We look forward to our next visit to paradise!

We stayed at Casa Price February 21-28 and we loved it! The house was so beautiful and cozy and we had a spectacular view of the ocean and were a very short distance from the beach. Rosa was wonderful too. We went grocery shoopping with her and she was very helpful in answering any questions we had. She kept the house very neat and tidy and her meals were the best! Her enchilada cheese towers were awesome. We are so glad we chose to stay at Casa Price instead of staying in a hotel. We had all the privacy we could have ever wanted and the neighborhood is beautiful and just a short distance to town. I highly recommend Casa Price for your stay in Playa del Carmen.

This was our first stay at Casa Price the first week of Feb, 2004. It was a lovely house, and Rosa was a wonderful cook. The beach was beautiful and just a few steps away. What we appreciated most was the privacy of having our own house with a view of the ocean. We plan to go again next year.

We stayed at Casa Price last year. We have been going to Playa for about 5 years now. We have stayed at Condos and hotels but this was the best place we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, with a wonderful huge terrace that overlooks the ocean, with wonderful ocean breezes. No need for AC here. The best part is Rosa she is a wonderful cook and a wonderful person. She made our vacation the best we have ever had. We plan to go back as often as we can.

Our family had a wonderful time in Playa del Carmen. It is hands down the most beautiful beach that we have ever seen. The water is such a brilliant turquoise blue that it literally took our breath away when we first saw it. The accommodations made it all that much better. Casa Price is a beautiful home with gorgeous views of the ocean and a steady ocean breeze that flows through the home. Rosa was a wonderful surprise and made the vacation amazing. She actually prepared the best “authentic” Mexican food for us. Don’t get me wrong, the restaurants in the city were great, but Rosa’s meals were incredible. We will be returning ever chance we get.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Price. We went in early June and it was beautiful! The ocean breeze is great in the house and the views are awsome! We went to Xel-Ha which is only about 30 minutes from the house which we highly reccomend. Rosa is wonderful and her Enchelidas are the best!

Thanks for opening your home for us to stay in. All four of us had a wonderful time. The beach was close just like you said and we were glad to have the beach chairs and floats to use. I would higher recommend your home to anyone that wants the comforts of their own home away from home. Rosa was great even though we didn't use her to cook. I enjoyed doing all the cooking with the window over looking the ocean, plus all four of us are early risers and was up by 6:30 to 7 every morning with breakfast just being simple with toast or cereal. Rosa did do our laundry at the end of the work that way we didn't have to take home dirty clothes. Rosa was there everyday to keep the house neat. Again, thanks for the use of your home

this was the first time that i rented a vacation home, and i wasn't disappointed. rosa was excellent, and although her english is limited, she is very fluent in hand signals! If you are wondering how the beach is, it is as beautiful as the picture. Also, since you are in more of a residential neighborhood, it is not very crowded. I was also able to snorkel no more than 30 yards off the beach. It had everything I had hoped for and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Robert and I had the privilege of staying at Casa Price last October and had such a wonderful time that we decided to stay again this October! The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable in every way. The master bedroom has a breathtaking view of the crystal blue ocean and white sandy beaches. It was a treat to fall asleep and to wake up listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. Rosa took such good care of us by keeping the house spotless, cooking us fabulous meals, and directing us to all of the different places we could experience. She has such a sweet disposition, and will gladly do whatever she can to make your stay enjoyable. My husband and I enjoyed taking long walks in the cool of the evening, taking in all of the beautiful architecture and gardens. A five minute taxi cab ride can take you into town where there are several excellent places to dine and shop. The neighborhood is safe and very quiet. I don't think you could get a better value anywhere else considering the size of the house, having your own personal chef, the excellent view, easy access to the beach, fabulous shopping within walking distance, personal housekeeper ... the list goes on! We'll be back and I'm looking forward to it immensely.

What a special and wonderful vacation myself, my daughter and my son-in-law had in Playacar staying at Casa Price. The location was perfect, the beautiful waters of the Caribbean just steps away. The view was fabulous, the turquoise water, the white sand and those entertaining pelicans circling and diving. The house was very clean and so nicely decorated, with all the amenities. What a treat to have Rosa each day squeeze fresh orange juice for us and prepare our breakfast request. Rosa showed us how to make tamales and other delicious Mexican treats, and gave a little help with the Spanish as well. Many mornings we would take our 15 minute walk to 5th Avenue where many tourist shops are located, and the coffee houses and the internet cafes. Casa Price is well located for making day trips up and down the coast. We stayed almost 3 weeks at Casa Price, enjoyed it very much, and look forward to returning.

We loved our stay at Casa Price and my husband really enjoyed remembering his growing up years in California speaking spanish with the Mexican citrus workers - so he was our interpreter for Rosa who was so wonderful! What a great cook! We went in April which was too hot. We would love to go again in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb. We went scuba diving in Cozumel and had a fabulous trip! Wonderful clear water and lots of fish. Loved our walks into Playa each evening - we bought too much but we loved the shops! We even sneaked into the huge hotels next door - wow! The house is clean, cheerful and has an incredible view of the gorgeous green sea. We loved Casa Price!

We discovered Casa Price about six years ago, having vacationed in Playa Del Carmen for 10. The house is perfectly situated in the Playa Car subdivision with close proximity to the main 5th Avenue pulse of Town, across the street from the beach with the best beach front on the strip, unobstructed views of the ocean and Cozumel. The house is a perfect fit for my two sons and I with two rooms and a bath on the lower entrance level, with a private large master suite for me on the upper main level. It is well maintained with most comforts of home. Rosa makes the stay even more enjoyable with her cheerful manner, great food, impeccable care of the premises, and willingness to be available when you need her. She has become part of our family and we look forward to our visit each year. I am happy to take calls if anyone is interested in learning more about the area also. Well worth the trip! Molly

I had to write and tell everyone of the fantastic time, my wife and I had in Playacar at Casa Price. The house would have been great all by itself, but with Rosa, our stay was like going home to mom's house. Rosa was our real live search engine for Playa del Carman. She made our visit one to remember, and we are going back in November with the kids. It's hard to even compare other properties with casa price now that we've stayed there. we just came back from our two-week vacation in playa del Carmen. At first I had some reseversations about the place, never been to Mexico and since we have teenagers and they are so hard to please, we were afraid there wasn't much to do there for them, boy was I wrong? they had a ball!Mrs. Price advised me that they wouldn't be bore, she was very right.The children loved the house, Rosa and her caring, sweet way, and they want to go back, now THAT says something, teenagers are NEVER happy with our decisions as to where to vacation So.. Being in Casa Price is like paradise. we fell in love with the place! and Rosa, what a wonderful person, very personable, honest, great cook too!! . We enjoyed the fact of being so secluded, but within a 10 min walk you have it all!. I have been to many places in the caribbean but the beaches in Mexico are just out of this world. I tell you if you rent Casa Price there will be no regrets....we will definitively go back....soon....!

I just came back from my second trip and it was better than my first one. My two trips have been during the first week of June. I truly think that the more times I go to this tropical castle the more I love it. My partner and I have taken friends over with us each time and they have stated that Casa Price is one of their dream places to vacation. Rosita (housekeeper) is really becoming like our best friend - more like a family member. Rosita's care and smile is what we look forward every morning. Her presence is reallly priceless for guests. It is really hard to put in words how relaxing Casa Price can help visitors to feel during their stay so you got to be there!!! I was VERY reluctant to rent this place last year since I did not know anything about this home, but I leaned to trust my gut feelings once again. Felices Vacaciones!!!! Nicolas C.
