FLAT. During the last ice age, about three-quarters of Ohio was steamrollered to pancake perfection by glaciers. Ohio takes in nearly 45,000 square miles, yet its highest point is only about 1,000 feet above its lowest. So, yes, flat.

    • My girlfriend and I arrived Friday night and were thrilled with the accommodations. We found your cabin on the internet & were nervous it wouldn't meet our expectations. I must say that it didn't, it exceeded them! We could not have picked a more perfect spot. After we both had a massage in the chair & soak in the hot tub, We put a special CD in the stereo & shared a dance infront of the fireplace. When it was over I got down on my Knee & asked her to be my wife. After a few torturous moments for her shock to wear off, she said yes. This cabin will forever hold special memories for the two of us. We already hope to spend future anniversaries here whenever possible. A weekend my Fiance' & I will never forget.

    • Don & I enjoyed your wonderful retreat. It was such a great get away for us. I had spent so much time in deciding where to stay in Hocking Hills, but this was a great choice. We felt at home and it was so nice to have met you both. You and Dennis have really put your heart & soul into thinking of others and that is such a wonderful gift to share with others in your hospitality. Loved your pigs and all your decor Jane. We also appreciated the great tips of things to see, such as Old Man's Cave and more. It was so beautiful. Our stay was so relaxing and I cleaned the Retreat to show our appreciation to you & Dennis. Don and I will definitely be returing and good luck with the lake home, I'm sure it will be wonderful. Till later we thank you and welcome you if you are ever in Pennsylvain to come visit us. We'll show you some great sights too. Thank you and God Bless. PS Don't forget to give us a call if you are ever in the area. PS2 Beware of the robin who pecks at the window every morning.
