This one bedroom cabin is located directly on the water. Enjoy the beautiful Nantahala Lake and surrounding mountains from the covered porch that is only feet from the water's edge. Easy access with a gentle slope to the water makes it ideal for young or elderly guests.
There is a private dock on the property where you can dock a boat or fish. Bring your own boat and use our private boat ramp located on the property. The cabin is located within walking distance of a general store/gas station and restaurant.
Relax inside with amazing views from the bedroom and living room windows or enjoy a cool evening with our gas log fireplace. On warm days enjoy swimming and water activities from our private dock.
For hiking enthusiasts, the Bartram Trail crosses the property a short walk from the cabin and the Appalachain Trail is only a short drive away. For sightseeing, there are many scenic drives in the area.

Absolutely wonderful. Exceeded my expectations. The cabin is beautiful, spotless, very comfortable and very nicely set up. All you need to bring is groceries. It has everything you need to fix meals, well just as its amenities are listed. It's all there. Whether you go to fish, hike, lounge around or whatever, this is the place. Very quiet, very friendly people. You just have to see for yourself. Am making plans right now to go back and visit again. PS, there are boat rentals, bait shops, resturants, and gas available within walking distance from the cabin.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a great time at The Lazy Fisherman. Clean, quiet and relaxing. I caught fish, my wife went exploring and our dogs swam and swam. There is a store at the top with food, fuel and freindship. Town is 20 minutes away as well as the Nantahala gorge were you can go whitewater rafting or ride a zipline.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

$125/night (2 night minimum) .. $800/week. Additional: $50 fee for up to 2 pets (prior approval required) Credit card required to reserve cabin (M/C or VISA). Cash, check, money order, and credit card accepted. 14 day cancellation notice requested. $25 reservation fee if cancelled 14 days prior to stay. $25 reservation fee + one night stay ($150 total) if cancelled less than 14 days prior to stay. If cancelled day of stay, full amount will be charged to card and will be non-refundable.
