Siesta Key, Sarasota, Florida is on the Gulf of Mexico. Fly into Tampa and drive a little over one hour south on I-75 to exit 205, or fly into Sarasota and taxi or rent a car, and in fifteen minutes you're here!
Come and enjoy our cypress tropical bungalows that are located in quiet neighborhoods in secluded lush settings and access to canals for boating and fishing. In just a short stroll you can be on the famous Siesta white sand beach or in the quaint Siesta village for everything you may need including great restaurants and shops.
And don't forget beautiful downtown Sarasota and bay front is just over the bridge. It is just a short drive for a unique cultural experience from the Ringling Museum, multiple theatres, ballet, orchestra, opera, gorgeous Selby Gardens, and endless dining and shopping options.
Fern Haven (Studio/Efficiency - sleeps 2)
Newly redone Key West style studio efficiency. It is bright and airy with French doors onto a deck overlooking gardens. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood with only a short walk to the beach and Siesta village. Fern Haven is completely turn-key including all linens, kitchenware, full sized bed, washer and dryer.
Canal Place (3 Bed/2 Bath - sleeps 6)
This is your grandmother's beach cottage. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms (stall shower in one and tub and shower in the other.) The large living room has French doors leading onto a screened in porch, which overlooks the gardens and the canal. It has a large kitchen and bright dining room surrounded by windows, which have a view of the canal. The master suite has a beautiful bay window for a gorgeous view of the gardens and separate additional entrance for privacy that leads to the outdoor shower. Across the street is the canal and a dock for boating, kayaking, and fishing.
The Lilly Patch on Palm Island (2Bed/2Bath - sleeps 4-5)
Situated in the quiet and secluded neighborhood of Palm Island, the Lilly patch is a cozy pecky cypress with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Hardwood floors throughout add to its charm. Double sets of French doors lead from the living and dining rooms onto the large private Mexican tiled screened porch surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The master bedroom has a stall shower with an outside entrance to an outdoor shower. With only a couple of blocks to the famous Siesta beach and island village - it is a perfect winter getaway.
The Blue Lagoon on Palm Island (2Bed/2Bath - sleeps 6)
Newly restored pecky cypress home with gorgeous refinished hardwood floors that shine like a piece of furniture. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The large family room has a wall of sliding glass windows onto a deck with park benches that overlook a tidal lagoon and fruit trees in the garden. It has a full-sized sleeper sofa in this room. What a view to wake up to! It has a beautiful old-fashioned screened porch with wicker furniture to enjoy evening dinners. The kitchen is open plan into the dining and additional living/TV rooms.
The Garden Terrace (Studio/Efficiency - sleeps 2)
This Tommy Bahamma styled studio efficiency has fifteen foot sliding glass doors look onto a private brick courtyard with flowerd trellis and wrought iron patio furniture. Wood and tile floors, cypress beamed ceilings, kitchenette, full bath with tub/shower, full sized bed, love seat, and dining set.

We are Ali and Rich Light. We moved to Siesta Key in 1997 and have never looked back. We absolutely love living here and sharing our paradise with our guests. We have been renting our five cosy bungalows since 1998. Ali is an artisit and has drawn inspiration for colors and design of our bungalows from our travels to Hawaii, Ireland, and the British Virgin Islands. Rich was a custom design home builder and landlord for many years in the Philadelphia region, so together we have found the perfect match for having beach rentals.
