3BR/2BA North Beach Condo - Great Location Also Near Downtown
Our Amelia Island Condominium is a relaxing getaway! Located on the quiet and picturesque north end of Amelia Island, the condo is 2 blocks from the beach yet only minutes (2 miles) from downtown Fernandina Beach. Great neighborhood with mostly beach houses and sand dunes - no high rise condos! Enjoy the beach without the higher costs of beach front rentals. Excellent location!
Our unit borders Fort Clinch State Park to the West, with the ocean nearby to your North and East so there is only vehicle access from the South thus no through traffic. Great neighborhood having a large natural beach area with dunes. Main Beach is also nearby for those of you who prefer a more populated beach with lifeguards.
The condo is airy and spacious approximately 1,200 sq ft in size with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It has two balconies; one balcony directly off the living/dining area (facing the ocean to your east) and the other a small private balcony outside the master bedroom facing a natural area of Fort Clinch State Park (in the background of the picture to the rear of the unit). The condo is an end unit on the second floor with a private entrance which gives you a little extra breathing room and privacy compared to most of the units in the complex. Within the complex is a tennis court and swimming pool.
Our condo is fully furnished and equipped. The master bedroom has a new queen-size bed with pillowtop mattress and connecting bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a new queen bed and the third bedroom has a twin bed, with a pull out trundle bed. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a full tub and shower. The unit also has a full kitchen with appliances and a laundry closet with a full sized washer and dryer.
Considered by many as one of Florida's best well guarded secrets, Amelia Island is known for its 13 miles of beautiful and tranquil beaches. There is also golf, tennis, boating and fishing.
You can watch the gorgeous sunsets at the downtown Fernandina Beach Harbor Marina while watching the shrimp boats come in and the fisherman weigh their catch for the day.
If you're a water-lover, try surf fishing on the beach or fishing in the salt marshes and oyster beds along the river, go for a sail or paddle a kayak.
For the history buff, Amelia Island offers an abundance of attractions. Stroll through downtown Fernandina Beach which is 40 blocks of historic homes and businesses. There is also Fort Clinch bordering the condominium, a living pre-civil war landmark that offers tours and re-enactments of life in the mid 1800’s as well as great hiking trails and a spectacular pier.
Come visit us and Amelia Island. But be careful, you may not want to leave! We would love to have you as our guest!
Here is a review by one of our recent guests. We can't say it any better!
"My husband and three children stayed here last summer. It was the first time any of us had been to Florida, and we fell in love with Amelia Island. This condo was convenient to beach, downtown, dining, the whole nine yards actually! It was nice, quiet, clean, and very affordable! On our first trip in June 2007, we took a day trip to SeaWorld and had a blast! We toured Fort Clinch, shopped and dined in downtown Fernandina, and found 99 sharks teeth on the beach! Our second trip in August was just as wonderful! We took a daytrip to Neptune Beach, rode the ferry, and visited Little Talbot Island! Which is a must see! It is absolute paradise, a breath taking site to behold! We definitely will be back for many more years to come!" Proctorville, Ohio

By Rachel (Alpharetta, GA) Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful Condo. When we arrived, it was very clean and it had all the comforts of home. It was spacious enough that we all could have our own space (with two teenagers, you really this!). The beach was beautiful and the Condo was close enough we could walk to it. Loved the Atlantic Seafood Market down by the pier - we ate fresh seafood every night! The square was very quaint and the shops were unique. Amelia Island is a very laid back town, most of the people are locals. Having two teenagers I was alittle worried they would be bored, but everyone had a great time. Thanks again and looking forward to visiting next year!
