Managed by a local professional agency that provides 24-hour service. This south facing house has been kept in excellent condition by private owners and is located in a quiet neighborhood on a street with little traffic. Beautiful Lake Tahoe is a short 5 minute drive.
The community SWIMMING POOL, open mid-June to Labor Day, is about 300 yards away and is available to renters for $50/week (paid to the HOA). Tennis courts and a sand volleyball court are also nearby. Access to FOREST SERVICE land for miles of hiking, biking, nordic skiing, and snowshoeing is a block away. Alpine skiing at Northstar is a scenic 15-minute drive. You can also bring your laptop computer because complimentary BROADBAND WIRELESS INTERNET access is available.
On the main level: kitchen with dining table seating six; living room with sofa sleeper(sleeps 2) and loveseat, futon with extra thick mattress (sleeps 1), 30" TV with cable, VCR and DVD, CD player/stereo, and gas fireplace; bedroom with bunkbed(sleeps 2), bathroom with shower/tub, and laundry room with washer and dryer. The HUGE,SUNNY DECK is off the main level and is great for barbeques using the new Weber gas grill. Full deck furniture provided(summer). After enjoying the lake and mountains, you can relax on the deck in the private six person Marquis Spa.
On the upper level: two bedrooms, each with a queen bed (sleeps 2 each). The front bedroom has a 25" TV with cable, VCR and DVD and a small, sunny deck. There is a bathroom with double sinks and a shower. In total, the house has beds/convertibles to accommodate up to 9 people comfortably.
The semi-circular driveway in front of the house can easily park four cars (during winter, cars must be in the driveway and off the street for snowplows). Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome accompanied by responsible owners for no extra fee. Guests must clean up after their pets both in the house and on the grounds. Two large dog beds are provided since dogs are not allowed on the furniture. NO SMOKING please.
