It's a level walk to the Carmel River Beach(where the Carmel River flows into the ocean) and the white sands of the Carmel Beach. Dine at the famous former mayor's "Mission Ranch" just 3 blocks away. See a live performance at the renovated performing arts "Sunset Center" or Golden Bough Theater.
Visit the galleries, shops and restaurants in "Carmel By The Sea". Drive through the Del Monte Forest or head south to Point Lobos State Park and Big Sur. Golf at one of the 18 courses on the Monterey Peninsula.

What a wonderful stay our second time here! Our son, who was two and a half the first time, is now five, and our daughter(almost 2) had a wonderful time. The lego's in the closet were a real "treasure" as my son exclaimed with glee upon their discovery. Thank you for the high chair and Pak-n-Play. The bubbles were a sweet touch. This was our second stay at BeachWalk and was as relaxing and enjoyable as the first even with the weather the storm threw at us. Lesley and I loved the fact that we could stroll around Carmelreally safe when the boys went on their many golfing trips. No doubt we will be back in future years. Phil and Dotti, We greatly enjoyed our stay at BeachWalk. Your home was quiet, comfortable, and offered the perfectb opportunity to kick-back and relax for a few days. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to dineat the Beach Club, and found the food and setting to be ideal. And, not to be forgotten, your dinner tip on the Mission Ranch was well timed. The opportunity to dine less than 10 feet from Clint Eastwood doesn't come often, and we did our best to keep eyes forward for, well, most of the evening. How wonderful to find such a lovely home as we joined friends from Washington, D.C. They were here on business at the Naval Post Graduate School, and just didn't want to stayin a hotel on the beach. We didn't cook, although all of the potential is available here. Instead we ate out at favorite places and new ones, too. Your home in Carmel is most peaceful. Phil and Dotti, We had a wonderful time at BeachWalk. It was the perfect escape for us-we were travelling from San Francisco with our 11 month old and my husbands parents from Chicago. We loved sitting on your peaceful front porch and our little Augie loved crawling around smelling the beautiful flowers. Saturday afternoon was a highlight we will always remember with lunch at the breathtaking Pebble Beach Club. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity. We loved it!
