My husband and I wanted to take our two little dogs with us on vacation, we would hate to leave them in a Kennel. We had never rented a home and didn't know what to expect. This house was PERFECT. So much better than a hotel and we could leave the dogs while we were out without worrying!!! The price was great, the neighborhood was great, and the house was beautiful!!! It's exactly as described. There are plenty of stores and restaruants within a 5 minute drive. Pine Island Beach is worth going to. I think it took about 10 minutes to get there. If you are there during peak season I suggest getting there early as the parking lot holds maybe 100 cars. Parking is only 2 dollars and there is a nice little snack shack that serves smoothies, sandwiches, fries, etc. and a good size playground for the little ones! Both days we went we saw dolphins playing around off shore! It's a very quiet beach. There are no shops, jet ski rentals, arcades or big waves (great for babies and younger kids)....it's a nice place to relax and enjoy the Florida sun! Kayaking down Weeki Wachee is another must do! It took us about 2 1/2 hours but it was worth it. It's a nice quiet, peaceful, ride down the spring. We stopped about half way down and watched a family of manatee eating some plants close to shore! If you are looking for a nice, quiet getaway this is the place for you. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The owners are wonderful, very helpful, and easy to get in touch with if there is a question or a problem. We would love to be able to stay here again someday!

This was our second year staying at this home during our visit to Florida. Julie and Murray take feedback positively and made changes to improve our and others future stays at their home. The place is fully equiped, immaculately clean, beautiful poolm and close to so many places within an hour or more drive. We look forward staying here again before we move to Florida permanently. Thanks so much for the use of your home. It made our vacation even more special...
Owner response:We are just happy that Ruth and family enjoyed their stay at our place enough to revisit. We do listen to feedback - its the only way we have of knowing what our visitirs want and enjoy. By the ay - we love the home too!

The property was perfect-Very neat and clean! The description was right on! Murray was wonderful to deal with-A delight and very helpful and informative. We loved to the pool-Swam everyday. Also, close enough to enjoy day trip to Seaworld (a must), Busch Gardens and Clearwater for a private excursion to snorkle and dolphin watch! A perfect vacation for my husband and myself-The kids dont want to leave! Already planning next year! Would most definitly recommend Murray and his hidden treasure here in Spring Hill!!!

I rented this home for a girlfriend getaway. We found the home to be very comfortable, very clean and a great spot to journey out for days of golf and touring. Rather than a hotel, we loved having the amenities of a well equipped kitchen and washer dryer. The pool was lovely but we did not plan ahead to have it heated, and I would suggest that for all but the summer months. By October, the evenings are cool enough to make the pool water too chilly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this part of Florida. PS. Golfing at World Woods in Brooksville is wonderful.

WOW!! We were so lucky to find this property among all the Florida listings! We had an excellent 10-day stay in this very, very nice home. The description in the listing was 'spot-on'. It was exceptionally clean and nice. The pool heater was a great buy for the time of year we visited. We were in the pool almost every day, even tho' it was a little windy and chilly on several days. Murray was an absolute delight to work with from a distance. (Wish we could've met him and Julie in person to thank them!) I would gladly recommend this property to anyone, along with the great customer service we received. Murray has a great sense of fun things to do when you're staying at the house. His suggestions were great and easy to find. We also recommend an Air Boat Ride w/Captain Stu in Homosassa. Neat way to see the Homosassa River and wildlife around there. The visitors journal on the table at the front door was a very nice touch to write a note for all visitors to share. The travel notebook in the TV stand is a great idea, too, to see lots of 'things to do' while you're visiting the Spring Hill area. We were really into the relaxing and 'do nothing' atmosphere that this property afforded us. We already miss it!!

It was our first vacation in Florida. And we just loved it. The descriptions fit very well. It was easy to find. I was very surprised how clean everything was cause our previous experience in house renting was not so good. We had no problems that couldn´t be fixed by going to the store. ;P The service was just fine. Our activities were that that many because we wanted to have an relaxing vacation so we did enjoy the pool and lil of everything. thank you for the nice time we could have. and We hope we get a chance to come back. We had been in this villa in August 2009. Actually the house is better then described. A perfect place for families with children. We felt like home immediately after we arrived. The pool was used every day for hours. The property is ery well equiped and we missed nothing. Also the customer service is perfect. We visited a lot of places around. Murray gave us a lot of things to do and we did the most. Do not miss weeki wachee canoe tour. You will love it. The beach at Palm Island you can reach in minues and is perfect for younger children. Hoprfully we can return soon.

We enjoyed our stay in the home. The photos do not do the home justice. It is quiet and peaceful but close to everything that we wanted. We did drive to Clearwater to the beach (our kids like ocean and want WAVES). The pool was so nice. We took a swim every night. We were able to spend quality family time together. The house has everything that you need and is very spacious and comfortable. Murray was wonderful to deal with. The entire property was in top condition.. We would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for an excellent meal, try Cody's Roadhouse. Our dinner was delicious.
