The Lazy Bear Lodge is Just 2 1/2 Hours From Charlotte And Winston-Salem, 1 1/2 Hours From Asheville And 35 Minutes From Bristol And The Motor Speedway. The Cabin Is Just 3.5 Miles Over The Tenn/North Carolina Border And Just 1.2 Miles Off 19E.
So Much To See And Do In The Roan Mountain Area. You Can Go Rafting In Erwin, Fish At Nearby Watauga Lake Or Go Hiking Along The Appalachian Trail Just 0.6 Mile From The Cabin. Golfing Is Available In Both States With Mountain Glen In North Carolina And Elizabethton Golf Course In Tennessee. South You Can Visit Linville Caverns, Linville Falls And Gorge, And When The Time Is Right Ski Sugar Mtn. And Beech Mtn. In Banner Elk. Visit Grandfather Mountain With Its Mile High Swinging Footbridge And Zoo. Have Some Family Fun At The Tweetsie Railroad Located Between Boone And Blowing Rock.
