Our house is part of the rolling hills of the Tri State area of NW Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. It is beautiful. Some folks never leave the house! They enjoy the views down the valley and the quiet.

My young daughter and I stayed at this property for 2 weeks this past summer. We had a wonderful stay! The owners thought of many things to make the house our home while we were there. I really enjoyed having the high chair and the baby gates for the stairs let me relax a little! My toddler loved the swing set in the yard and driving through the area spotting deer, wild turkey and hot air balloons. We enjoyed using the community pool and eating on the back deck, as well. The house is great for families with children, but I think it would be good for any group.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We just returned from a great weekend at this property. You can not beat the peacefulness and the views from the backyard. At night you can see every star in the sky. The community pool is just down the road from the house as well!! Would definitely recommend! Thanks!

We have stayed here previouslly and were very satisfied with the quietude and location - close to Galena yet the feeling of country. The new kitchen only makes it more enjoyable. This is great for those liking casual living.
