Rainbow House is a colorful, three bedroom, tropical, vacation rental capable of sleeping up to six with all the amenities you would want or expect!
Rainbow House is built-in the old style of "board and batten" and on stilts; graced with high ceilings to keep the days cool. You'll find ceiling fans in every room as well. Old fashioned, double hung windows are found throughout and will keep the hottest day at bay, as well as offer great views from most rooms. Pets are NOT allowed and No Smoking.
The panorama from the lanai, kitchen, and dining room offers some exquisite views of waterfalls cascading in the distance. The tiled lanai has a hammock and lazy rocking chairs where you can spend the day counting waterfalls.
Surrounded by a landscape of cocoa palms, lime, oranges, avocados, papayas, and other tropical ornamentals.

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1994
As a Cuban refugee I grew up on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico where I learned to surf. It was surf that brought me to Kaua'i where in 1984 with my brother we founded Kayak Kauai. I love my customers and in 1994 I married one of them and now spend 1/2 the year in Los Angeles with all my feisty girls (it's a matriarchy) and the other half hands on with Kayak Kauai.
Hope you enjoy your stay on Kaua'i, which has to rival any island on the globe.

Why the Owner Chose Hanalei
Ever since I sailed into Hanalei on a 48 foot ketch, it was my dream to live in Hanalei.
It has been my good fortune to have a fun outdoor adventure business in Hanalei (i.e. Kayak Kaua'i) but to also be in biking/walking distance of my vacation rental/home and of course, the SURF!
While much of Hawaii is quite beautiful, Hanalei is in a league of it's own.
The Unique Benefits of this House
I would say what I like overall about my property, is not having to get into a car each time I want to go to the beach. My property location is moments away from not only the bay but some great surf. The small town of Hanalei is also in walking distance.
If you ever stay at the Cottage or Rainbow House try this:
Wake up and before the cobwebs of sleep are gone, walk in a Zombie like state to the beach, and take a dip in the ocean. It is an electric way to start the day.
If you patronize Kayak Kauai, mention you are staying at the Cottage or Rainbow House for a 10% discount off any tour and/or rentals.
