A wonderful place. The wildlife incredible. First evening there we saw a HUGE herd of elk cross the quiet gravel road, right in front of us! Every evening out on the deck there were bucks and does. We saw several flocks of wild turkey. And to make it even harder to leave, the elk graced us with their presence once again the evening before we had to leave. The house was clean and even better than the pictures. As for the fenced dog run, well, if you have bigger dogs, working or sporting dogs the run is fantastic, the dogs would love, love, love it. But if you're like us, with small dogs, schnauzer and poodle, well I wouldn't dare leave them in the run. I might never find them again. It's a very hilly, treed, and rough dog "run". That was the only thing that was a tad disappointing, I had hoped the run would be usable for us. But everything else far surpassed what we needed. It was just me and my husband, and our furlegged kids and we would certainly bring family and friends here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Peak Season Rates .. $225/night (3 night minimum) .. $1260/week (7 nights). * Peak is Considered: Thanksgiving Thursday through Sunday, Week of Christmas through New Years, Month of March, Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July Weekend, and Labor Day Weekend. Off Season Rates .. $185/night (3 night minimum) .. $1,036/week. Equestrian Package: $25/night includes fenced 5 acres, water, hay & pole barn.
