The Fly Fishing Lodge is a beautiful 3500 square foot home on the banks of the Little Red River in Heber Springs, AR. The master bedroom has a King bed and the second upstairs bedroom has two Queens. There are two full baths upstairs. The master bath has a marble whirlpool tub and separate marble two person shower with massaging wall jets. Downstairs are two bedrooms, one with King and second with two Fulls. There is also a new full bath downstairs, a new second kitchen and a NEW POOL TABLE!! There is a huge grilling deck and screened porch overlooking river. The open Florida room also overlooks the river.
The Little Red River is 32 miles of world-class trout stream and home of the world record German Brown Trout (40lb 4oz). Four species of trout can be caught - Rainbows, Browns, Cut-throats and Brookies. At the Little Red, you can fly-fish, use artificial lures or live bait.
Drive about five minutes and you are at Greers Ferry Lake. This clean, clear-water 40,000 acre lake is home of the world record Walleye (22lb 11oz) and Hybrid Striped Bass (27lb 5oz). The lake also serves as a playground for all kinds of water sports. Eighteen parks around the shoreline provide modern campgrounds, boat launches, swim areas and marinas. |
