For the past 2 years, I have traveled for a living. I have used this site many times to get away from the hotel experience and lifestyle. In staying in this apartment, I have never felt better treated, more taken care of or more loved by complete strangers in my life. Besides the obvious that this condo is absolutely beautiful, breath taking views of soldier field and is walking distance from everything you would want in the city; these are the nicest owners you will ever meet. I truly felt like I was there son for my time in town and after. The entire family is so lovely, making the stay as comfortable and easy as possible. They went above and beyond and have now become very close friends of mine. I can not recommend this apartment enough. I loved every minute of my stay and plan on coming back to Chicago and only staying here!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This condo is fantastic. The pictures above are accurate, but at the same time they don't do it justice. The doormen in the lobby of this condo are friendly and helpful, the well-equipped gym is available 24/7, and the location is about as good as it gets. You'll be within walking distance of the Museum Campus, Grant and Millennium Parks, the entire loop, and easy access to all of Chicago via the L (highly recommended for cheap, easy transportation without needing to find a parking spot- weekly passes available). When you're done exploring all that the city has to offer, you can relax and enjoy the chef-friendly kitchen (complete with a fantastic gas stove), spacious, pleasantly decorated living room area, and picturesque views from the balcony, The owners of this condo are extremely kind and hospitable, from suggesting activities in the city to stocking the kitchen with treats and drinks to your tastes, they are willing to go the extra mile to make certain that your experience in Chicago, and in this condo, are second-to-none.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Great condo, great location, and great condo owners! We recently spent a week in this comfortable/clean/well maintained 11th floor condo, complete with full kitchen, indoor parking, outdoor balcony, and washer and dryer. Everything one could need is in this condo. The condo is about 5 years old, and is located on the back side of a Michigan Avenue building (which eliminates much of the street noise). The view is pleasant, and the condo itself is very sound proof. The Michigan Avenue bus runs every few minutes and is right across the street. The "L" is a short walk (3-4 short blocks). There is a large Jewel store (groceries/prepared foods/pharmacy/hardware items) within a couple of blocks. If you can't find it a Jewel (this is unlikely) there is a Trader Joe's (also within a couple of blocks). Walgreen's is located on the same block as the "L" station, and there are many restaurants within a couple of blocks. This condo is also just a couple of blocks from Grant Park, and within walking distance to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and miles and miles of biking and walking paths along Lake Michigan. We love Chicago, and this condo. Unless you're looking for daily maid service and a hotel setting, this condo is a great option.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This apartment is conveniently located, has a great view, and was well-furnished with amenities and breakfast food to get you started. The owner was very helpful and flexible, making it easy to get the keys and to check out. The doormen at the apartment are very friendly and helpful as well. A great place to use as a base to enjoy Chicago! We would highly recommend staying here.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We are an active senior couple who travel extensively, renting through VRBO internationally This condo was one of the most comfortable, convenient and well-appointed we have experienced. Last year we had to cancel our plans, and the owner, George, promptly refunded our deposit without question. Our friends drove us to the condo, and could not believe how lovely and immaculately clean we found the condo. The king-size bed, which is vital for rest after a busy day walking, touring, etc., was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was modern, with all appliances needed and extremely well-stocked (we should have asked George what to buy before coming- we had over shopped). The washer/dryer combo was large, easy to use and had all supplies to do laundry several times. There was a small balcony with a view of Soldier Field and the lake, where we enjoyed meals and just relaxed. Transportation to everything was a very short walk to the 'L" and busses. Most important, the contacts with George and his wife, Cheryl made us feel like special family members. We count this as one of the most pleasurable experiences we have had in accommodations in all our travels. The price was most reasonable for this location in the city, especially during the Blues Festival. Can't wait to return. Thank you George and Cheryl!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We made reservations for June, but were unable to keep them due to personal circumstances. Prior to our cancellation, the owners were extremely helpful and even tried to get baseball tickets for us. They refunded our deposit when we cancelled and were so nice about everything. Will definitely contact them again when we reschedule our trip.Did you find this review helpful? The condo was perfect and more then we expected. It was cleaned and spotless. The kitchen has so much there for us to enjoy. We were greeted this flowers, wine and there was juice, pop, and a lot of snacks. It was a lot more then we expected, parking was great, the neighborhood perfect and the people at the counter all were so friendly. Thanks George and Cheryl for the wonderful place in Chicago.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a great base from which to explore all the magnificence of Chicago. This condo is in a building that feels totally secure with round the clock front door personnel. There is a fitness room which is much bigger than any hotel gym I’ve experienced, with all the equipment you will need. The condo itself is perfectly outfitted and has a luxuriously current decorator feel about it. The train in from O’Hare was very easy, with one change and a short walk to the condo. That evening we went to The Chicago Firehouse restaurant just a block away, and recommend it highly for an upscale evening. For other nights when we ate in, we stopped into the great Italian deli next door and picked up some pasta and salads – delicious! We enjoyed walking out the door and up Michigan avenue to all the museums. For WWII buffs, don’t miss the exhibit at the Museum of Science+Industry (just a bus ride away) where they document the capture of a huge U-505 submarine, keeping its location and that of the crew secret until the end of the war. The owner goes the extra mile to make sure you will be comfortable and pampered in this gem.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This condo is just as nice as pictured and in a really great location. We walked or took public transportation all around Chicago and it was very convenient. The owner was very helpful! Breakfast foods provided was an extra service and everything was clean & neat. The exercise room is well maintained. 24 hour door man was very helpful and we felt very safe throughtout our visit. No hidden charges. We definitely would stay in this condo again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
