Haven's Rest is located in the luxurious Golfview Resort. Our cabin is very well equipped and is more of a home than a place to sleep. If you are looking for a TYPICAL cabin experience, THIS IS NOT IT. There are many rental cabins in the area but very few have luxury experiences like Haven's Rest. If you are searching for the perfect couple's escape, Haven's Rest offers a large aspen log king-sized bed, a balcony to enjoy the breathtaking view, a steamy hot tub, and a full-sized kitchen to make cooking a breeze.

This mountain cabin features generous living space on two levels. With its massive wood beams and rustic decorations, your stay will not be forgotten in this charming Smokey Mountain home.
The main level features a comfortable living area with a queen-sized pull-out sofa, a twin-sized pull-out sofa, a gas stone fireplace, which houses a wonderful 30 inch High Definition TV with a built-in DVD player. Enjoy dining in at our beautiful table for four, situated under a rustic antler chandelier. Continue to make yourself at home on the main level as you experience a full kitchen, with all necessary utensils including a coffee maker, dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator, oven and stove, which will make family dinners something to look foward to! Expect to spend adequate time in the porch, in which the steaming hot tub and popular Foosball table are housed. A woodland themed full-size bath complete with a washer and dryer combination concludes the main level.
Upstairs, experience the ultimate gaming experience in the loft, which is the location of an arcade game and several vending machines. A comfortable twin pull-out sofa finalizes the casual alcove. The master bedroom is stunning with its genuine aspen log furniture. Experience a vibrant view of the majestic Smokey Mountains out the balcony, which is adjacent to the master bedroom, and also offers seating for two: perfect for those incredible sunsets. A wonderful full bathroom completes the bedroom.
Just take a few steps out your front door and experience seasonal swimming in the outdoor pool, or anytime swimming in the indoor pool complex with also offers a relaxing sauna and an exercise equipment area essential to those morning workouts! The outdoor pool complex also provides a kitchenette and bar area, which can be reserved for poolside gatherings. Just came back from Havens Rest and we had a wonderful time even though we had monsoon rains the entire time! Everything you see is exactly the way it is. Very comfortable and close to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. You would not want nicer people to work with. We had originally cancelled due to a death in our family and they worked very hard to accommodate us. We cannot thank you enough! We will be back as Iove the smokies. We had an absolutely amazing stay at havens rest! It was just as clean and even more beautiful than it looked in the pictures. Our family of 8 were more than comfortable and had plenty of room. It was surprisingly convenient to everything including Dollywood and Splash Country. We could even see the smoke from the train at Dollywood from the back decks. The kids enjoyed Mrs. Packman as well as the indoor and outdoor pools and there was a great selection of movies and family games to choose from. Our vacation at Haven's Rest was one of the best ever. We highly recommend Haven's Rest to anyone looking to vacation in the area. Thanks so much Bill and Karen for sharing you beautiful home with us! Visit this area twice a year and this cabin has proven to be one of the best stays yet. Located right in the middle of all attractions we wanted to visit. Cabin was everything described and more. You can tell owner takes pride in what he has to offer. Cabin has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Owners prompt and helpful with all questions. We have found a home away from home. We will glad to visit again. GREAT cabin, GREAT location and GREAT price, what more could you ask for. We enjoyed staying at your cabin. It was just righ tfor us. Location was perfect too! Guys liked the golf course access. We did encounter a bit of rough weather that caused a few leaks, but hey, the owners made it right and we would deffinetely recommend staying there. The owner was good to talk to us during the stay and work out any kinks! Only 1 suggestion...2nd source of air conditioning is needed upstairs. Thanks for a great experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! We really liked the location and it was very close to Dollywood which is what we wanted. Great cabin for a getaway for a couple. And, for older kids, the foosball table is a huge hit. Our daughter (and my husband) wanted to play it all the time. This was the last thing we did before departing -- play each other in foosball. Thanks again for letting us use your cabin.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We found the pot of gold at the end of rainbow! Seriously, this is the best cabin we've stayed in. Our only regret is not staying a full week, which we are already planning for next spring or summer. The Strom's have a beautiful cabin with very nice furnishings and all the extras. Excellent location, far enough off the Parkway but close to dining, outlet stores and grocery shopping. Use Teaster Dr instead of the Parkway, takes you to cabin without all the traffic. Our favorite eating places are the Old Mill Restaurant (check out their general store too) and Calhoun's (they have the best burgers)!! Thanks again for sharing your cabin!! This was our first time staying in a cabin but it definitely will not be the last. The cabin was even more beautiful that the pictures on the internet. The minute we walked in the door the first thing we thought was "WOW". The location of the cabin makes it so convenient - it is so close to the main parkway - yet far enough away from the traffic and noise. We were able to sit on the upstairs balcony and see the steam from the train at Dollywood. The cabin has so many of the things that make it easy to just stay there and relax. The Pacman Machine, Foosball table, hot tub, Play Station Game, Drink Machine and Candy machine...also the movies, cd's, books and magazines...were some of the things that we enjoyed using while we were there. The owners provided so many of the little things that make such a big difference - such as toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, dishwashing and dishwasher detergent. A fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, dishes, small appliances, and so much more. The master bedroom has the most beautiful log furniture and we used all three of the pull-out beds also. The cabin was beautifully decorated and was as clean as any hotel or resort we have ever stayed in. It was a pleasure dealing with the Strom family and we hope to be able to stay there during our next visit to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
