My family has rented this condo several times. It is always clean and very well equipped. Pam is extremely helpful and is nearby should any need arise. In Louisiana we pride ourselves on always providing a little 'lagniappe", which loosely means "a little extra". Pam is the queen of lagniappe as she always provides more than necessaryin her condo and in personal service. This condo is situated perfectly with the Gulf of Mexico at your back door and the pool at the front door. It is especially good for families with children because of the grassy area outside of the unit and the close proximity to the beach. I always try to book months ahead of time to make sure we can get in!!!!! Highly recommended.

We stayed the first week of June in this awesome condo. You can't ask for a better location. Beachfront which was awesome with young kids. We had 2 families with a total of 4 kids,ages 5, 7, 8, and 12 and the accommodations were perfect. We had plenty of space in the condo for everyone. We loved being on the 1st floor- so easy to head out to the beach and we could watch our families from the patio. We've stayed in Destin many times but never in the Crystal Beach area. The beach area is designated for the Crystal Dunes condos only so it was uncrowded on the beach each day which made it extremely relaxing and easy to keep an eye on the kids. The condo was in a great location near shopping and restaurants- love Pompano Joe's, Bubba Gumps and McGuire's. The condo was very clean, very spacious and looks exactly like the pictures here- love the decor and space! Pamela the owner was great to work with- we loved the sand bucket full of toys she left for the kids. There were so many beach toys, chairs and boogie boards provided to use while we were there- which meant less packing for us. We will definitely rent from Pamela again. She is awesome- she gave us very good suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area with kids and we received our deposit promptly upon our return. This was our first time renting using VRBO and it was easy to use and we found the perfect place and owner!! Thanks again!! See you next year!!!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Everything was just as appeared and described. It was great to walk right down to the beach and still be able to see the back door. (In case one of the kids forgot something and had to run back up.) The kitchen had everything we could want. Pamela was a great host and very prompt at answering any questions. FYI we had a fabulos italian dinner out at Guglielmo's Ciao Bella and very reasonable priced.

Great location, clean yet comfortable, great views

This unit is a wonderful property. All of the pictures and video are accurate-the decor is too cute. My mother, sister, daughter, and niece had a wonderful girl's trip for Spring Break 2011. The private beachfront location cannot be beat, yet the property is gated, secure, and very close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The heated pool came in handy for Spring Break this year, however the hot tub/jacuzzi next to the pool was broken the duration of our stay. It would have been nice to be able to use it since the air had such a chill for several days. The unit itself as well as the property was very clean, and I have stayed in a lot of vacation properties in the past 10 years. As to be expected, there was a bit more noise in the halls outside and above our unit due to the Spring Break holiday, but the walls are much more soundproof than a hotel. The low rise Crystal Beach area is also a very family-oriented area. Pamela was a wonderful hostess. We were welcomed with a beach bucket of toys for the little girls, the two damaged items we notified her about were quickly replaced. The unit has lots of beach chairs/umbrellas/toys/movies/books, etc. for guests to borrow, which is quite helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone - I hope to stay there again. Our favorites are Destin Commons Mall - they have a lot of things for children to do (very close by), nearby Publix or Fresh Market for groceries, Twist frozen yogurt was our nearby treat favorite, the Gulfarium in Ft. Walton Beach, the Red Bar in Grayton Beach - try the blackened grouper on cheddar bacon grit cake while listening to the great tunes of Dread Clampitt on Sunday or Monday evening, Bud & Alley's Tarpon Club in Seaside is great for a beverage as you watch the sun set, The Artists of Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach, the Destin HarborWalk is great as well as the Village at Baytowne Wharf in SanDestin.

Thanksgiving on the Beach

Wow! What an incredible view from this immaculate condo -- the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful white beach simply took your breath away! The location was perfect -- just step out the patio and you were on the beach! We had a wonderful "early Thanksgiving" with our daughter's family -- our two grandchildren loved playing on the beach and in the water. The sunsets from the patio were so spectacular - an awesome way to end each day. We definitely will be returning -- we're hoping to make it an annual family get-together and bring my son's family with us next year. You just can't beat Thanksgiving on the beach - especially when you're from Minnesota!

Thanks so much for sharing your condo with our family. We had a great vacation and the location was perfect with 4 kids - ages 1 to 7. The condo is located close to everything. We especially enjoyed eating at Pompano Joe's and being close to Publix and Walgreens. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed during our stay. Thanks for all the prompt communication - it means a lot when planning a vacation. I will definitely recommend you to others when planning a beach vacation!

Enjoyed our visit to the Crystal Dunes. Our condo was great very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Great for us we took a 9 month old baby and there was a crib and the location you could sit on the patio out front and view the beautiful ocean while baby was napping or walk out to the pool right out back door. We loved the whole area great vacation spot. Close to everything. We plan on going back.

We have stayed at this condo several times and have had a great time. Plenty of room if you have 4 people or 12!!!! Owner is great to work with - thanks for the Christmas decorations too!!! There is nowhere better to stay in Destin than this complex, pool, hot tub and beachfront - who could ask for more.... Never crowded and we have been there during Spring Break, summer and Christmas. Plus everything is provided - beach toys too - so very helpful in packing esp. when coming from Wisconsin!! Perfect 1st floor condo when you have little ones!!! Thank you and we WILL be staying again......

Hi Pam, just wanted to take a second and let you know how much we enjoyed your condo. The view and location was awesome, the ground floor unit was perfect for my 76 year old dad,no stairs to climb or elevators to wait on. All he had to do was walk out the door and the beach was right there :) We truly enjoyed our stay. The sand pail of goodies was very welcoming touch and made us feel very welcome. My family recently vacationed in Destin and stayed in this condo. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The condo was very clean and nicely decorated with all the amenities you could ask for. I would have to say the best thing was being on the ground floor. Just open the back patio and your on the beach! I just can't say enough it was Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!

We had a wonderful time at Crystal Dunes. The condo was so comfortable, spacious and decorated great! We especially loved the easy access to the pool and beach. Pamela was very hospitable and kind!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had everythiing that we needed. The location was perfect to walk out to the beach. We watched dolphins right from the patio! Thanks Pam for some great Destin memories!

This is our second year here because we absolutely loved the convenience of walking out the back door to the beach and out the front door to the pool. Lots of chairs and sand toys are here, so we don't have to travel with all that stuff. I could literally put the baby in the crib for a nap and go to the beach with by baby monitor, then just run up to the condo when he woke up! It's that close! We've travelled in August both years and never felt crowded at the pool or beach. The condo has most everything you need and Ms. Flow is very personable and accomodating. No problems with charges or refund or scheduling. Highly recommend this condo for family fun! We will visit again and again.

The condo was everything that was promised. It was very neat and clean. The first floor location was made it very convenient to get to the beach and pool. I received my deposit back in full and on time. We had a great time and I look forward to renting this condo again.
