The Honeymoon Cottage, nestled in the beautiful Steinhatchee Landing Resort, is the perfect quiet getaway for couples. This cottage is beautifully decorated with hardwood floors, a two-sided fireplace between the bedroom and double jacuzzi tub and TVs in both the living/bedroom suite and bathroom. We also now have WiFi in the cottage.
The large bathroom features marble tile and granite countertops. The bedroom has a luxurious king size bed with fine linens and the galley kitchen is fully equipped. There is a washer and dryer inside the cottage and a VCR, DVD, and stereo with Surround-Sound on the huge screened back porch overlooking the small tidal fed Kings Creek.

The cottage is comfortable and relaxing and sits in a quaint resort village on the Steinhatchee River. You will think you've stepped back in time. Bring your golf cart or scooters to enjoy the resort itself or just to tool around town.
The Landing offers canoes, kayaks, and bikes for rent on site. Play tennis or basketball or enjoy the beautiful swimming pool. If you love to fish, there is a boat dock on the river with gulf access close by. Bring your own boat, or you can rent a boat or charter a fishing trip at one of the nearby marinas. Summer's scalloping season is a not-to-be-missed event.
This is one vacation you will truly love. You will want to return again and again to this timeless and beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed sitting outside and listening to music on the back porch. We took nice walks around the Landing Resort and Steinhatchee. We had a great time exploring around the area. This is a wonderful place to get away and relax. We really enjoyed the cottage as it was perfect for a couple to spend a nice weekend together.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Spent the weekend with a dear friend. We needed to catch up and sit on the porch and talk to God and each other. Hope Cottage was peaceful, refreshing, quiet and so many other wonderful ahhhh words! The porch was wonderful when the rain chased us inside BUT then we realized we loved the porch when the sun was shining, when the stars were out...when the sun was coming up. No photos of the great porch on the VRBO site and we were loving the great surprise of THE PORCH! Everything else was fabulous: heavenly bed, great bath, kitchen for making English muffins and tea to eat on THE PORCH listening to the rain! Reading and laughing and kayaking were the order of the YaYa Weekend! Thanks Cass- your place was all that and more. Scheduled soon to go back with hubby for an entire week!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for our HONEYMOON! It was absolutely wonderful. It was peaceful, beautiful and so relaxing. The cottage is very romantic. We can't wait to go back again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

This cottage is perfect if you want to get away from it all. It is beautifully furnished & the bed is like sleeping on a cloud. The serenity on the screened porch will wash all of your cares away... complete with 4 ceiling fans & comfy furnishings. It was hard to leave & I hope we will be able to return again soon! Cassie is the best, you will make an instant friend!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
