I want to let you know what a great time we had in your condo at Mahana. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our coffee on the lanai each morning and saw lots and lots of whales. We watched the sunset and the whales playing in the evening. It was really wonderful! Each night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing in on the shore. It hasn't been easy to sleep without that sound since we came home. We enjoyed the beach, snorkeling exploring the island. I'm glad we had the opportunity to stay at Mahana #714…

Joan, Just a note to tell you we LOVED your condo. The view was spectacular and furnished very nicely. It is in a great location and the best value we found in the area! The area in front of the condos by the grassy area and beach was never crowded with people – …which we loved. We saw lots of whales right from the condo window and lanai. The lanai was very spacious as well. We sat on the lanai many evenings with a glass of wine to enjoy the view. My parents and sister stayed in unit # --- on the ...floor; it was nice, but not as nicely furnished as yours. We are already planning another trip to Maui, and will contact you again to stay in your condo. The location was wonderful …we enjoyed the hot tub and just the beautiful view from the condo. Many thanks! We have a wonderful visit to Maui!!
P.S. We got married on the beach on... just down from your condo at sunset! It was just beautiful and very memorable!!

Why the Owner Chose Mahana
In 1970 I saw this beach beside the river stretched with rainbows from mountain to sea. So when they decided to build the Mahana we wanted to share a piece of this most beautiful paradise at “rainbow Point”.
I lived here with my three children while the pool was built and the project was finished. My girls wore their bikinis under their uniforms so when they came home from Sacred Heart school, they made a dash for the water. The waves were their lullabies, the dolphins were their dance teachers. The whale songs echoed off the Mahana buildings while they snorkeled with the turtles, and Sea urchins puffed as the children discovered the low tide secrets held in the rocks.
Now I live on the side of Haleakala and love watching the changing sea and clouds from 3000 feet above the beach. But I remember those days when we cooked pig in the sand and sang into the starry nights at the Mahana. Nothing has really changed. It is still paradise.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Watching the ocean right out the window is by far the best thing about this unit. There are whales, spinner dolphins, winged ray fish, turtles and flying fish that all put on a great show dancing and jumping and performing right in front of the window. I have never tired of looking toward the island of Molokai or the Island of Lanai and watching the rigged sail boats, the fishermen, the kite sails or the surfers. Sitting on the sofa I feel like I am watching a movie - but it is real and it takes place from dawn to sunset.
Then the sound sets in as the dark sea rolls iridescent waves along the sand and before I know it, I am lulled to sleep in a soft sea breeze. The ocean is magnificent!
The guests love it here too. One couple has come for 5 years , another 4 years and several others are booking their 3rd year in a row . Here is what one couple just wrote.
"We were really happy with the Mahana and unit #714, which we rented through VRBO - would go back any time. Rent with confidence. Unit 714 is modern, clean, and comfortable with the fantastic views that only a few resorts right on the beach like the Mahana can give you. The condo owner, Joan, is very nice and let's her renters (a loyal bunch, based on the guest book entries) use the snorkel equipment, boards, and beach towels, which is a huge help..."
