Come and enjoy our unique Elk Mountain Lake House. The original house dates back to the late 1800's. The new addition is joined by a salvaged local church steeple.
The lake is great for a canoe, kayak, or small sailboat. This is a private lake with only 4 - 5 properties on it which adds to its beauty and tranquility.
There is a rails to trails nearby for biking, hiking and in the snow season you can snowmobile.
Penn Can Speedway features stock car and modifieds on a dirt track, Route 171, Susquehanna, PA. Friday nights 7:15 p.m.
We are a short distance to Elk Mountain Ski Area (approx. 12 miles). Come sit in our large living area (20 x 55) overlooking the lake. Curl up in a chair next to the fireplace or enjoy a game of pool. After a day of skiing relax in our 6 person jacuzzi looking out to the lake.
Our yard is great for sledding. Our house is great for 1-3 families with the great room there is plenty of space to spread out and not feel crowded. We have a full kitchen, we even have an electric griddle for making pancakes for your group.
Master Bedroom is located on 1st floor and has queen bed, full bath (shower-no tub)
Upstairs is full bath and washer & dryer for your convenience.
Bedroom #2 has full bed
Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds
Bedroom #4 has a bunk (twin on top and queen futon on bottom plus a twin bed.
Bedroom #5 is a master bedroom with king bed, located in basement with walkout slider - lake view, full bath - shower-no tub
The great room has 3 large picture windows with a spectacular view of the lake. It has a seating area with fireplace and tv, a dining table area with a view to lake, pool table and another seating area with tv and large coffee table just the right size for children doing puzzles or games. The sofa opens to a queen size bed. Downstairs is the jacuzzi room with sliding glass doors that look out to lake. There is a bathroom with shower and another washer and dryer. |
