I have rented this condo several times over the past couple years and I keep coming back. It is a nice modern unit with everything you need. Being up on the 3rd & 4th floors gives it constant access to the tranquil Playa breeze coming off the ocean. If you've spent time in Playa de Carmen, you know how seductive that breeze is - especially in the warmer months. On lower floors, that it gets blocked by the buildings and trees. Having a fresh margarita while watching the sunset from the patio or rooftop deck are a highlight of my day. But, for me, the best thing about this unit is location, location, location. I love being right on 5th Street - but not just anywhere on 5th Street. Being on the north end of 5th is absolutely perfect. You feel completely connected to the sexy / chic energy of Playa without being bothered by it! If you've ever stayed further to the south and laid awake all night listening to the thumping bass of the night clubs and the loud-talking foot traffic, you know what I am saying. Down here at 30th, you are surrounded by fantastic restaurants, bars, coffee houses, shops - and by 12am, there is still great liveliness, but it's beautifully quiet. A+ The owner has been great to work with and there is a local property manager to call if you need something. I was really lucky to stumble on this place when I did and I hope to be able to return for years to come!

It's shameful that I'm just now writing a review, but better late than never! My husband and I, with our best frriends, first stayed there in March 2009. We fell in love with this condo and agreed we'd always rent it again when we returned to Playa. We just came back from Playa a couple of weeks ago (March 2011) and once again stayed here. The condo is very well kept, it has an excellent location, and the staff and maintenance are excellent. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues when we first arrived and Jorge responded swiftly and had it resolved as fast as possible, which we really appreciated. Here are my favorite things about staying here: o The beach is very close, Mamita's beach club is only about a 5 minute walk away o It's located right on 5th ave and it's on the better, less touristy end of 5th ave (in my opinion, 5th and 30th). o The BEST mojito in Mexico is located right downstairs. It used to be called 'Quinta' but now it's called something else (starts with an R), but still the same owners, same mojito. o The BEST cuban restaurant is just a couple of blocks away - La Bodeguita del Medio o If you scuba dive, this condo is perfect with its rooftop patio and tub, we were able to rinse all of our equipment off and leave it on the roof to dry out. o Ana and Jorge manage the property and are very responsive, if you have any issues they will be addressed right away o Shayne is the owner and while we've never met her in person, she is very friendly and knowledgeable, and all of our email communication has felt as if I were dealing with a friend. Overall, I highly recommend her condo and guranatee you'll have a great time! I know we'll definitely be back. Erin & Adrian
