Our cabin was designed and built by our company in 2004 and 2005 with the priority of "Tahoe coziness" and "lots of Old Tahoe charm and character". The cabin is over 2800 square feet and is beautifully decorated and furnished. The interior motif is "Classic Tahoe". There is no better location in Lake Tahoe, the "Best Shore is the West Shore". You are nestled in the trees, approximately 400 feet from the Lake and 400 feet from the Homewood Mountain Ski Resort. At the end of your snow skiing day, you can simply ski right into the backyard. Forget about fighting the traffic...you're already home....you're on VACATION...RELAX!!

Our location is extremely private, but at the same time, right in the midst of every Lake Tahoe activity you can possibly imagine. The property is one half acre and backs up to the Homewood Mountain Resort ski area. The street is very quiet.

Our cabin is for the discerning, but yet fun-filled! The upstairs Master Suite, 23 x 15 feet, features a "bed and breakfast" gas fireplace with stone hearth, king bed, TV with satellite dish, vaulted ceilings and a 8 foot glass sliding door with views of towering pines and cedars in the forest. The hot tub is located on the deck immediately outside the slider door. The bath includes a large tile shower, double sinks/mirrors vanity table and beautiful cherry cabinets.

The Gourmet Kitchen and Great Room is designed for family gatherings and entertaining. The Kitchen boasts a 5 foot square butcher block island, with raised bar seating, all stainless steel appliances, two sinks and an extensive collection of cookware. Preparing a holiday feast or a family meal is a breeze in this kitchen! You can even watch your favorite cooking show while preparing your favorite family feast!

The Great Room features a vaulted ceiling, a large stone hearth and gas fireplace. The entertainment area includes a 42 inch big screen TV with satellite dish, DVD/VHS player, surround sound stereo system with speakers in four rooms and on the back deck. The dining area has a authentic wood table (made from the trees on our property)! The table comfortably accommodates seating for 10 people and is situated in front of a 10 foot window seat. The view from this dining area is a delightful, "Normal Rockwell", Old Tahoe, 1930's setting.

There is another upstairs bedroom, which is a classic Tahoe knotty pine dormitory-style room. It includes two twin beds (with trundle below for plenty of winter clothing storage) and one queen bed. This room has its own balcony and bathroom, complete with tub/shower. It is a memorable and fun dormitory, especially for the kids. This is called our "Black Bear" room.

The downstairs Master Suite is 23 x 15 feet. It includes a king size bed, large couch, and, of course, a private bath. The bath has a beautiful tile shower with cherry cabinets. The view is positioned to the mountains and forest.

Across the hall from the Guest Master Suite is a combination Laundry room and Mini-kitchen, complete with sink, dishwasher, microwave, small refrigerator (dishware and utensils)and washer/dryer.

The Game Room is equipped with a old "funky" upright piano, TV with satellite dish, poker table, wood burning fireplace, lots of games and videos, and a large sectional couch with an adjoining private bathroom including a shower. The game room has an exterior door to a small balcony leading to a outside deck with table, umbrella, chairs and garden during the spring, summer, fall months.

The upper back deck runs the full length of the house and is accessible from the Great Room/Kitchen and the Master Suite. The driveway is maintained by our local snow removal contractor and, of course, the road, directly in front of our cabin, is maintained by the county.

Within walking distance, there is a Five-Star waterfront restaurant, two boat marinas with fuel,launching services, the Tahoe Maritime Museum and, of course, the infamous Homewood Mountain Family Ski Resort. The ski area is dedicated to family fun and boosts incredible views of Lake Tahoe!!!!


Also, within walking distance is a quaint grocery/deli store, the Old Tahoe Cafe, Pisano's pizza parlor, post office and a full-on sport shop for both summer and winter equipment rentals!! These amenities are all within 400 feet in either direction! There is no fuss or worry regarding traffic or parking for summer or winter activities. You can walk to everything! All you have to do is find your way to our Tahoe Shangri-La, park your car and enjoy!

Yes, we do have a great location and our cabin has all the luxuries and amenities of an upscale resort. Now doesn't this sound like a real vacation? Come, relax and have some "unhurried family fun" at our little piece of paradise in Homewood, Lake Tahoe!
