Welcome to what Outside magazine calls "The Best Place to Hang a Hammock" and "One of the 100 Absolute Best Getaways"...
The New York Times describes Sayulita as "uncluttered white beaches, a great surf break, amiable fishermen cleaning their catch by the sea, and the tranquil town square with its rustic taco stands and tortillerías"...
While Sayulita may have been discovered by some in the media over the recent years it is still able to effortlessly keep its authentic charm. A secret this amazing couldn't be kept forever. While the town's character has remained the arrival of many fine restraunts and excellent shopping are appreciated as welcome new neighbors. Adventure seekers that explore a short 45 minutes north of the bustling resorts in down town Puerto Vallarta are sure to find real Mexican culture.
The pace is slow, the food is great, the price is right, Life is good in Sayulita!
Casa Mango Seis is a quaint and quiet 2 bedroom, 1.25 bath (outdoor tropical shower) house just a simple 7 minute stroll to the beach and less than 5 minutes to the plaza. Unlike some of the back breaking hill climbs found in Sayulita, the road from Casa Mango Seis to town and the beach is flat and makes for an enjoyable walk. This property is conveniently located in a locals neighborhood called Tamarindo. Decades ago this area of Sayulita was a Tamarindo Orchard. Currently, the yard for Mango Seis has lush green grass throughout, for bare foot enjoyment and is full of flowers and fruit. The garden landscaping yields yellow, pink, white, purple, blue and red flowers. The gardens harvests limes, bananas, tamarinds, jackfruit & coconuts.
The house is a natural blend of traditional Sayulita design and modern comfort with ceiling fans, comfortable furniture, Sealy mattresses, hand-crafted cabinets and a travertine bath room with bathtub. Ideal for two couples or a family, the entire lot is walled for superb security & privacy. The surroundings provide a quiet setting with neighbors positioned out of site. The roof of this house has external stairs to access a roof top setting for sun or solitude.
Embark on a vacation you deserve. Casa Mango Seis has a unique & simple feel that will allow you to truly relax and enjoy the natural beauty and wonderful culture of Pacific Mexico.
Our pricing philosophy is flexible, the longer you stay the better the price. Holiday weeks are naturally more expensive. The prices range from $65 USD per night in the low season to $900 USD per week at Christmas and New Years.
This is unquestionably a fun, economical and convenient way to enjoy all Sayulita has to offer!

I'm a little hesitant to give this rave review, as I'd like to keep this place a secret just for me and my friends... but here it goes anyway! This house is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and very secure with its lush gardens surrounded by 10 ft walls—all this at such a reasonable price!! Shhhhh! Not sure why there are no photos of the bedrooms because they are lovely, and the bathroom is nice too with a large stone shower—great for showering down sandy kids. This house was the perfect for me, my husband and our 2 year old daughter, but I could also see this place being perfect for a family with 2 kids, or a friend's getaway/surf trip. You have everything you need to cook meals in the kitchen, plenty of fresh drinking water and a blender for margaritas! The walk to town and beach and is less than 8 mins and fairly flat—fine for strollers with big wheels (not umbrella strollers), easy to run back to the house if you forgot something, and not too far of a walk to the beach to carry a surf board under your arm the whole way. Plus there is a corner store and a laundromat just two blocks away. The house is in a locals neighborhood, so it's a very authentic Mexican experience. We'll take that over a sterile time share condo in PV any day! The home owners live in Colorado and are very responsive and accommodating. And the local property managers were great too—Jocelyn in particular. Between the beauty, community, and laid back vibe of Sayulita town, plus our wonderful 10 day stay at Mango Seis, we got the PERFECT cheap Mexican surfy beach town vacation we were looking for. Thank you!!!!

My boyfriend and I got to spend a week in the beautiful Sayulita. We so loved every moment. The house is perfect, super homey, LOVE the couch set-up, love the shower, the kitchen, everything. It was far more than I could have dreamed. I was a little worried about safety given this was my first time to the area, but I felt more than secure in this house and town, and had no worries leaving my jewelry and whatnot while we were out. The owner was so prompt at getting back to us and answered all questions along the way. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home. I will definitely be going to stay there again soon.

Stayed a week in this cute house, situated in a local neighborhood. The town plaza is about a 10 minute walk. Wake up to the sound of Roosters in the morning. If you are looking for a little peace and tranquility then this is the place. Thanks...

This beautiful house and it's convenient location was a perfect fit for our ladies getaway to Sayulita. The home was super clean and felt really safe during all hours of the day. We loved how easy it was to walk downtown and to the beach and how right up the hill sits one of the most gorgeous yoga studios I have ever set foot in. The house was so cozy that some nights we just opted to make dinners at home or grill out in the beautifully landscaped yard. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable, safe, clean and convenient vacation home.

The house is wonderful it provides for a relaxing vacation. One very strong word of warning DO NOT bring your valuables (computers, cell phones). During our stay all of our valuables were stolen by a member of the staff (entered house with key stole possessions). Our vacation would have been fabulous but it ended on a sour note since I spent my last days of vacation contacting all my banks to make sure that my identity was not stolen.
Owner response:In six years of renting and vacationing in Casa Mango 6 we have never had a single incident of theft. We are currently investigating the above incident. Casa Mango 6 has a large ten foot privacy wall with keyed gated entrance in addittion to a deadbolted solid wood main entrance door and fully secured windows. As a precautionary measure locks on both the front gate entrance and house have been changed. Mango 6 treats the security of both it's guests and their belongings with the utmost care andresponsibility.

My daughters and I had a wonderful Christmas holiday in Sayulita, and your home offered us comfort, beauty, and safety for 3 single women. We loved the fact that we were in a locals neighborhood and not in the thick of the Christmas tourists staying in town. My girls and I were planning for our next visit before we ever headed home.

We spent two lovely weeks in Mango Seis over Christmas and New Years. The house suited our needs perfectly. We cooked most of our meals, made good use of the excellent little grocery store located right around the corner, enjoyed the privacy of your beautiful yard, and got friendly with many of the neighbors. Sulma took good care of us, too. Thanks for letting us share your piece of paradise.
