This home is COMPLETELY misrepresented by the photographs and the reviews. It is not “a quaint and quiet 2 bedroom, 1.25 bath” house as suggested. This house is very dirty and poorly maintained. It is located in one of the poorer, noiser areas of Sayulita less than 100 feet off the very busy Punta Mita Highway. We did not have clean sheets once in the two weeks we stayed. We got clean towels once. The walls in all rooms are filthy dirty. There are no closets, nowhere to hang clothes inside or outside. The “lovely outdoor tropical shower” is dirty. When I turned it on rusty water ran out of it. The yard for Mango Seis far from full of flowers and fruit as suggested. The landscaping is mostly dead with a few bougainvalias struggling to survive at the front with a few other plants around the yard. As far as fruit there was one banana tree in the backyard. We pulled most of the dead stuff off of that to assist in the lighting of the barbeque every night. The outdoor furniture consisted of three cheap green plastic chairs so old they left green markings on your clothes if you sat in them without a towel. The “barbeque” grill was so covered in rust my husband had to find a hardware store and purchase a wire brush to scrub it in an attempt to make it something you would actually put food on. The indoor “furniture” is dirty and covered in stains. There is no bathtub in the bathroom as suggested. The shower was filthy. I didn’t check to see if they were indeed “Sealy” mattresses. My back and hips would say otherwise. The road from the house in to Sayulita is sort of flat I guess, compared to the large hills in town. However, it is far from an “enjoyable walk”. There is no mountain view from the “rooftop patio” as advertised. You can see directly into the kitchen of one neighbour’s cinderblock house on one side and not much different on the other side. You get a stunning view of the dead foliage that covers most of the front security wall. That “security gate” you see in the pictures? 65% of the wood is now missing out of it and what remains is so loose it can easily be removed by hand. FAR from secure. That nice decorative wood you see in the wall above the gate? It is all rotting out and falling off. Those gleaming white security walls you see are now filthy and covered in dead vines and branches. The “Other Amenities” were basically non-existent. The “full kitchen” consisted of dishes and silverware, a coffee pot that didn’t workDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/7

I'm a little hesitant to give this rave review, as I'd like to keep this place a secret just for me and my friends... but here it goes anyway! This house is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and very secure with its lush gardens surrounded by 10 ft walls—all this at such a reasonable price!! Shhhhh! Not sure why there are no photos of the bedrooms because they are lovely, and the bathroom is nice too with a large stone shower—great for showering down sandy kids. This house was the perfect for me, my husband and our 2 year old daughter, but I could also see this place being perfect for a family with 2 kids, or a friend's getaway/surf trip. You have everything you need to cook meals in the kitchen, plenty of fresh drinking water and a blender for margaritas! The walk to town and beach and is less than 8 mins and fairly flat—fine for strollers with big wheels (not umbrella strollers), easy to run back to the house if you forgot something, and not too far of a walk to the beach to carry a surf board under your arm the whole way. Plus there is a corner store and a laundromat just two blocks away. The house is in a locals neighborhood, so it's a very authentic Mexican experience. We'll take that over a sterile time share condo in PV any day! The home owners live in Colorado and are very responsive and accommodating. And the local property managers were great too—Jocelyn in particular. Between the beauty, community, and laid back vibe of Sayulita town, plus our wonderful 10 day stay at Mango Seis, we got the PERFECT cheap Mexican surfy beach town vacation we were looking for. Thank you!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

My boyfriend and I got to spend a week in the beautiful Sayulita. We so loved every moment. The house is perfect, super homey, LOVE the couch set-up, love the shower, the kitchen, everything. It was far more than I could have dreamed. I was a little worried about safety given this was my first time to the area, but I felt more than secure in this house and town, and had no worries leaving my jewelry and whatnot while we were out. The owner was so prompt at getting back to us and answered all questions along the way. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home. I will definitely be going to stay there again soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Stayed a week in this cute house, situated in a local neighborhood. The town plaza is about a 10 minute walk. Wake up to the sound of Roosters in the morning. If you are looking for a little peace and tranquility then this is the place. Thanks...Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

The house is wonderful it provides for a relaxing vacation. One very strong word of warning DO NOT bring your valuables (computers, cell phones). During our stay all of our valuables were stolen by a member of the staff (entered house with key stole possessions). Our vacation would have been fabulous but it ended on a sour note since I spent my last days of vacation contacting all my banks to make sure that my identity was not stolen.Owner response: In six years of renting and vacationing in Casa Mango 6 we have never had a single incident of theft. We are currently investigating the above incident. Casa Mango 6 has a large ten foot privacy wall with keyed gated entrance in addittion to a deadbolted solid wood main entrance door and fully secured windows. As a precautionary measure locks on both the front gate entrance and house have been changed. Mango 6 treats the security of both it's guests and their belongings with the utmost care andresponsibility.

This beautiful house and it's convenient location was a perfect fit for our ladies getaway to Sayulita. The home was super clean and felt really safe during all hours of the day. We loved how easy it was to walk downtown and to the beach and how right up the hill sits one of the most gorgeous yoga studios I have ever set foot in. The house was so cozy that some nights we just opted to make dinners at home or grill out in the beautifully landscaped yard. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable, safe, clean and convenient vacation home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My daughters and I had a wonderful Christmas holiday in Sayulita, and your home offered us comfort, beauty, and safety for 3 single women. We loved the fact that we were in a locals neighborhood and not in the thick of the Christmas tourists staying in town. My girls and I were planning for our next visit before we ever headed home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We spent two lovely weeks in Mango Seis over Christmas and New Years. The house suited our needs perfectly. We cooked most of our meals, made good use of the excellent little grocery store located right around the corner, enjoyed the privacy of your beautiful yard, and got friendly with many of the neighbors. Sulma took good care of us, too. Thanks for letting us share your piece of paradise.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hi Charley We had a great time at your house. The total peace and quiet, no hassle I needed. Rented a car and explored all around Sayulita. Saw alot we missed last time we were there. Everyone that have seen our pictures are interested. Hope to come back. Thank you very much. Pat and Dana Vancouver BC CanadaDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

hola charlie, we are having a wonderful time here in sayulita and the house is everything we hoped for and more, thank you so much. sulma is wonderful, we´re having a party tonight and invited her and her family. we bought some fish and a bunch of vegies to grill, going to make pina coladas. life is good here, for us u.s. citizens anyway, the disparity is hard to witness. i was wondering if the house is available for either one or two more nights and if so for how muchDid you find this review helpful? Charley I just wanted to say thanks for letting me stay in your house for the Halloween festivities here in Sayulita. As you suggested the culture for Dia de los Dios was powerful and healthy for us... The house worked out perfectly and it was just as you described... We hope to return to Sayulita for more waves and good times in the near future...Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
