The condo was very well maintained and lived up to the description as provided by the owner. This is my second time renting this unit and would definitely rent from the owner again. The location of the lighthouse allows one to walk to all nearby bars and restaurants. The beach is absolutely beautiful too.

This was our first year in this beautiful condo. We had stayed in The Lighthouse for 6 years and finally found our most favorite one. It has everything you need and more and Anna is wonderful to work with you to get what you might need that isn't there. The views are spectacular, both East and West and the balcony sun is perfect to soak in the rays. The beds and linens are top notch and the all tile floors are very easy to maintain. The listing and pictures are very accurate and the unit was sparkling clean all aroound. We had a wonderfu winter here, enjoying eating out at the many nearby restaurants, especially The Oyster House and Bubba's, and playing cards with friends. We would recommend this unit to everyone and we thank you Anna for allowing to live in your place for the winter months. We will return.

We were so appreciative of Anna and her wonderful condo.Everything was as she advertised or better.This was our second stay here and loved it both times.Anna makes your stay and your arrangements so easy.Just what we needed after a hard week at home.Loved the decor ,all the conviences you could want. The views are wonderful.Standing on the balcony watching the sun come up is unbelieveable.So many great places to eat close by and don't forget Hazel's.The beach is wonderful ,especially walking early in the morning ,so peaceful and quiet.Want a wonderful vacation and condo ,Anna wull take good care of you and your family Anna thank you so much.

The guests emailed me with their review when they could not get their review to go through. Here it is: Thank you, Anna! I tried to click on "write a review" but couldn't find just where to do that. So, here is our experience... We thank you for a clean, beautiful condo. The decor was beachy and fun! We especially slept well as the beds were very comfortable. The washer and dryer did beautifully and we came home with all clean clothes to put right back in our drawers! A very great thing for us all. At first we thought the 16th floor might be a bit high, but the elevator was so fast and smooth, we thought we were on the 5th instead! What a beautiful beach...so clean and well maintained each morning. We virtually had the beach to ourselves! The surrounding land (preserved) was beautiful and picturesque. We walked to the big pier and thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful day watching the fishermen. I got three feet away from a pelican sitting on the rail...we named him Nigel (from Nemo). Got lots of pics of him. We enjoyed two days during the week to go and see the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola and the USS Alabama in Mobile Bay...highly recommend both to visitors...fantastic!! We met Col. Glen Frazier who survived the Bataan Death March...evidently he is there quite often as he lives close by. An amazing human being. Anyway, we thank you for helping us to have such a wonderful vacation by keeping such a beautiful condo to stay in! We will certainly return to your condo our next stop in Gulf Shores ~ the best kept secret on the Gulf Shore for sure! :) God bless you, Robert, Lee Ann and family Kennesaw, GA

We just returned from our stay of almost 5 weeks here. Everything was as stated in listing, clean, comfy, adequate appliances and utensils in kitchen, organized well. It looked just like the pictures provided. Loved the tile floors all over, just feels clean. The location was great,good views off the balcony,covered parking a plus and location of elevators and trash shutes were close.Anna has decorated this so neat and homey, and she is very helpful and very prompt with information.The beds were very comfy. The condo itself has great pools,and hot tubs and the workout room is handy if you don't walk the beach. Hope to return next year. We were there during the 4 days of Shrimpfest which brought a LOT of people and traffic, not sure I would recommend that time unless you are a party goer and like crowds. We liked Bahama Bobs restaurant,Longhorn steakhouse,Hazels. Walmart is closeby which is always handy. We enjoyed the pier which is about a 1/2 mi walk on the beach. Some of our group fished off the pier. Wonderful stay!!

Great beach vacation

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at this well maintained property. This listing description and photos are very accurate. The location is great with easy access to everything. The beach was beautiful and the 2 condo pools were great. The kitchen is equipped with all the bells and whistles you need to prepare your meals. We were able to watch the incredible 4th of July firework show from the balcony. WOW!! I would not hesitate to book this condo again and I will be recommending it to my friends. Anna, you answered all of my questions and were very easy to work with. Thanks for everything.

Great Family Vacation

The condo was lovely-nicely decorated, and very clean. This unit was set up with everything you could possibly need! Beds were very comfortable. We loved the balcony and enjoyed the view from the 16th floor. Condominium complex was conveniently located to local attractions such as Waterville, and other amusement parks-great for a 13 and 10 year old. We were able to walk to many restaurants which was great-did not have to fight for parking plus got in a little extra exercise. The condominium complex was well kept, and there was a security guard on duty for extra safety. Nice big pools-2 outdoor and 1 indoor, as well as an exercise room which we never needed-so much nicer to walk out on the beach! This was a great place to stay for a family vacation-Anna was very nice to work with. We will go back!

The property we rented from this owner was exactly what was stated in the description of the website. We have rented this unit several times and everything is exactly how the owner promised. The property was overall clean. No issues. The owners are a delight, very easy to get a hold of. I would recommend this property not only to my friends and family but also to EVERYONE I talk to. The nearby activities our family would recommend is ABC Parasailing (located in Orange Beach) and the Track. The restaurants that we LOVE: Nolans, Flippers, Jake's, Bahama Bob's, Seas & Suds, Franco's, and The Original Oyster House (on the board walk).

The condo was exactly as Anna said it would be, very clean and decorated very nice, flat screen tvs in every room, we couldnt of asked for more, the weather was great and my family had a great time , condo owners like Anna give VRBO a great name and the best way i know of to rent a condo, i have been doing it for 20 plus years in gulf shores and orange beach... we will be back !!!!

Thanks Anna for being so accommodating and easy to work with. Your condo is great, and very comfy! It is decorated so nice. I must say that we are very picky renters, and I would recommend this condo to anyone. If there may be times during our stay when we are unable to enjoy the beach, we like to rent a place that is very comfortable and inviting...this one surely fits the bill. The location is great, easy access to the elevator/trash shute, etc. The covered parking was really a plus, too. We really enjoyed our short stay and hopefully can get back for a longer one someday soon.

With the help of guests like you who let me know when things are not right (like the DVD player in the bunk room not working and the weatherstripping on front door coming loose), I can get right on top of things and have them repaired or replaced quickly. They were simply doing what I ask all guests to do, and that is to let me know if things aren't exactly as they should be. What a beautiful condo!! We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and really enjoyed our stay. The view from the 16th floor was breathtaking! Arriving and getting into the condo was simple and Anna made everything easy and no stress for us. I would strongly recommend staying here and would definitely consider returning. The white sand beaches were perfect! We were all very sad to leave! Thank you! P.S. We would recommend going parasailing, what a blast!

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo through VBRO. The owner is very easy to work with. When you walk in the condo, you know that you are on a beach vacation just by the way the owner has decorated it. The condo is very clean. During our stay, WE DID NOT SEE ANY OIL OR SMELL ANY OIL. The beaches are clean and the water clear and a beautiful turquiose blue. You can see schools of fish from the balcony. So, those of you who are concerned about your vacation to Gulf Shores, please GO!!! We chose not to cancel our vacation, and had the absolute best vacation ever. Can't wait to go again. This comment was sent to let me know about their week even though there was oil on the beaches. Hi Anna, Just to let you know, the condo is wonderful and we love it. We have had a few days of scattered oil washing up, today being the worst. It was completely washing up and you couldn't even walk the beach, however, they quickly mobilized and converged on the beach to begin clean up. It will probably be cleaned up by tomorrow. We may stay in town for an extra night to attend a concert Saturday night, and if you do not have guests coming in on that day, we would be willing to pay for an extra night. However, if guests are scheduled to arrive, we will leave as scheduled and get a hotel room elsewhere. We would encourage all your guests to come as scheduled because the beaches are still beautiful. It is cleaned up so quickly, they will not regret it. Feel free to pass this recommendation on to any of your prospective renters, we will be glad to give them any information they desire. Again, we love the condo and may book very early next year to insure we are able to rent from you. Thank you,

Just wanted to say thank you for use of the condo. In spite of the oil we thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach was open Tuesday, yesterday and today. They have not had to clean the beach since Tuesday and have moved the crews out. There are still tar balls suspended in the water. We left this afternoon because of a prior commitment. We have already decided that if you'll have us, we want to come back next year. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality.

After surfing the Internet for hours, we finally found what we were looking for - luxury, ON the beach, very modern, panoramic views of the gulf, and an owner who cares. The price you see advertised with Anna is the price you pay. Beautifully furnished, happy colors, new TVs and DVD players (3 or 4 I think?). LARGE refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, laundry (in the condo). Parking, cleaning included, can you believe that? It was our perfect Mother's Day getaway.

This was our first visit to Gulf Shores. The Lighthouse was perfect for us and our two boys 4 and 7. The condo was absolutely beautiful, and so comfortable to stay in. It was very quiet and we loved the view from the 16th floor. Anna was a joy to work with. She was so responsive whenever I had a question and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. Beautiful condo with Oustanding view

Thank you Anna for sharing your lovely condo with us. Your communication regarding rental agreement and rental payment was flawless and simple, thank you. The condo was as described. The condo was big enough to accomodate 4 adults and 2 children without feeling cramped. The kids loved the private bunk room and having their own tv. The white sandy beach was beautiful and was very clean. It was our favorite place to be. We found sand crabs on the beach at night and the kids really enjoyed that. Our favorite restaurant was Desoto's. We really enjoyed the Dolphin Cruises aboard the Cold Mil Fleet. They were decently priced and we got some great pictures of the dolphins playing and jumping. I Would recommend this condo to anyone looking for the perfect get-a-way vacation. We will definitely be back!

We usually stay in Orange Beach, but we loved being in Gulf Shores and this condo location is great! Your condo had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. This condo was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was spectacular, especially the sunsets. It was a very relaxing and fun week. The two pools, the hot tubs and the fitness room were well used by our family as well as the beach. Our family vacationed in this BEAUTIFULLY-decorated condo last October (2009) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! This is a wonderful resort with many amenities (2 pools, etc.) and the condo itself is Very Clean and Spacious!! Our family consisted of my husband and myself, our two daughters and my brother so there was plenty of room for us 5 :) So impressed with the owner's hospitality, genuine kindness and helpfulness. We visit the beach once a year and now LOVE the Fall weather at the beach, just perfect for us! Would definitely recommend this exact condo & resort to everyone! Gulf Shores is wonderful. Thank you!

We have just returned from a week in Gulf Shores. This condo was by far the best we have found in the past 15 years of various beach trips--beautiful, clean, everything you will need. The owner makes you feel as if you are staying with a friend, and at the same time she is very professional. The Lighthouse has such great pools and beach access. I love the decor of the condo - "beachy" without being over the top. The kids loved the bunk room - what a great use of space. Our favorite activity was the Dolphin Express Tour, that leaves from Bear Point Marina. Thanks again and we hope to be back next year.

The cool, windy days allowed us to take in the non-beach sites like: the zoo, Ft. Morgan and Dauphin Island. The kids swam themselves into wrinkled prunes at the indoor pool. Beautiful condo. I knew when I saw this condo on VRBO that it was special, and when I saw it in person I was not disappointed. It feels like home and not just a rental condo. The decorations are top notch, with many of the linens being from Pottery Barn. The tile floors are great and easy to take care of. I saw many other condos at Lighthouse during my stay, and this condo was by far the nicest. Thanks again, Anna, for being so accomodating. It was a pleasure doing business with you. We hope to be back next year.

This is a beautiful and well equipped condo!! The beach side view is spectacular and the zero entry pool is great for younger children. Would stay here again!

Anna, We had a great stay in your condo. In the 20 plus trips to Gulf Shores I have made this is by FAR the nicest place I have ever stayed. After our 1100 mile drive the whirlpool in the master bath was wonderful. The balcony was another great feature as no roof above made a great place to catch some rays when the wind was howling out of the north. We look forward to another stay in your condo in 2008.
