The Pinehurst Resort and Country Club is famous for hosting the 1999 and 2005 US Open. Recently it was announced that the US Open will be here again in 2014, and has earned a No. 1 ranking of the World’s Best Golf Resorts. The Pinehurst County Club has a total of 8 great courses you can play, each one with distinctive features.
Many couples that do not play golf have enjoyed their vacations here by visiting the area antique shops, fine clothing boutiques, art galleries, museums, movie theaters, and miles of artistic pottery shops. You will also find wonderful dining in quaint old-fashioned inns and restaurants.
The Village of Pinehurst was founded in 1895 by Boston soda fountain tycoon James Walker Tufts. He built a New England-styled resort and spa that offered many famous guests luxurious accommodations. The community of Pinehurst and its neighboring town Southern Pines boast friendly, respectful citizens and clean beautifully landscaped areas. The streets are lined with tall pine trees and colorful floral plantings. Take pleasure in strolling around this charming village on lovely brick sidewalks and view its elegance.
Spring and Fall are our busiest months. If you are thinking about coming to Pinehurst please contact us early as the dates go quickly. Also- reserve early for the US Kids Golf tournaments and the USGA Amateur this summer. In the past we have had to turn away many disappointed people because the condo was taken.
So many of our guests return each season that they feel like family. We have a journal in our living room that many former guests have recorded their experiences and advice of what courses, restaurants and local spots they discovered! When you stay with us take a moment to read the recommendations and please share your experiences too.
The location of this unit is very secluded and private. You actually must drive across the golf course on a very narrow road that looks like a golf cart path. Sorry, the condo association does not allow overnight parking of commercial vehicles or pets.
We try to keep our condo rental fee as low as possible. Our rates are much lower than staying at a hotel. In addition our unit provides you with more space, better features and a great location. We never charge for cleaning and tax is included.
Once you stay here, you will agree that Pinehurst is a hidden treasure. This is truly an enjoyable vacation you will remember for a long time and want to come back.
