We had a wonderful time. Our kids now have memories that will last them a lifetime. Property managers came out to the site the day of arrival to make sure everything was OK and to see if we had any questions. The book at the condo with information about restaurants and shopping was priceless! We had our days and evenings planned out by what interested our kids in the information book. I suggest renting a car to get around the island. Thrifty car rental was very easy to work with. The condo has everything we needed and was very comfortable, There were 5 of us staying for the week and had room for 2 more if we had wanted. The snorkeling was the best right off the beach at the condo. We saw a lot of different varieties of fish. Paradise Beach club was our favorite place during the afternoons after we had lunch and finished snorkeling for the morning. They had a beautiful pool and many activities for the kids to keep them busy. The condo was accurately portrayed in all the pictures and is exactly what you get. The housekeeping gal did a fabulous job at keeping the condo clean. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to get away for a relaxing time, in one of the most beautiful places I've been!

Mom, dad, and three kids fit easily into this condo and the price was right. The condo is furnished and equipt very well. There is a large grocery store down town to get anything you need to do your own cooking if you don't want to eat out every meal. The pictures accurately show the condo, but the beach is rockier than it looks and its more ground shells and rock rather than sand, but once you're in the water the snorkling is good. I would highly suggest renting a car if you plan to do anything other than sit at the condo. Taking a Taxi into town wasn't too expensive or hard to arrange, but you'll probably want to see more of the island. The car rental/time share is a pretty good deal, but you do have to sit through their sales pitch and it is pretty high pressure. We were there during Carnival and it was wonderful! Parades every night and just about the entire island is there! A LOT of fun and the kids loved it. The east side of the island is pretty neat. Pretty secluded with not much build up, but I think worth seeing. Coconuts was worth going to as was the Punta Sur Lighthouse. We also enjoyed the historical sites; San Gervasio and El Cedral. Chankanaab Park was also worth going to. We chartered a fishing trip and wished we hadn't. It was very windy/rough the day we went out and it should have been canceled. We only chartered a 1/2 day trip and only got to fish for about 10 minutes before we turned around and went back. Not necessarily what we expected and the charter service should have canceled the trip. All said, a wonderful vacation and a wonderful condo.
Owner response:Sounds like you had a great time. Glad you loved the condo. We agree about the rental car. It is worth having. We always book with Thrifty online prior to our arrival. They are inexpensive and have well maintained vehicles. Let us know when you are ready to go again!

We loved our stay in Cozumel, and the bechfront snorkelling was excellent. The concierge was very helpful. Shopping in the local supermarket was easy. You will need a car to really enjoy your stay. Be sure to go to the beaches on the Atlantic side of the island--beautiful and quiet. Beware of airport car rental scams. It's a time share sales pitch that is working with Avis and Hertz. It's total garbage. They ask you if you rented a car when you get off the plane, then misdirect you promising low car rates and passes to attractions. I fell for it, then looked at the fine print. I returned the car ASAP but spent $90 to get out of the contract. Get your car from Budget and trust no one at the airport. By the way, a similar scam gets run at the ferry port, but by then I was wise to it.

We stayed at Paradise Condo's with a group of 10 people the first week of May 2008. We took over 2 condo's, one on top of the other. Both condo's were clean, well taken care of, and stocked with everything we could need (including booze from the party before us)! The property is small with only about a dozen rentals, with a clean private pool in the central area. The cleaning staff and grounds people were incredibly nice and stopped to talk wanting to get to know us. Located right on a sandy beach with GREAT snorkeling right out our back door. We snorkeled all along the west side of the island and all agreed that the best snorkeling was from The Money Bar to Chankanaab (the condo is directly in between these two places). A small beach club, Playa Uvas is right next door. Their taco's were the best that we had this trip to Cozumel. They offer many water activities, a very friendly staff, and buckets of beer! During your stay in Cozumel we recommend renting a car at least for a few days to drive around the island. The beaches on the east side are completely different, with large waves & powder sand beaches. It is just nice to lay on the beach and listen to the waves crashing. Make sure you visit Alberto's Beach Bar for dinner, don't miss the sunset from this location. The owner is a great guy who truly loves what he does. They have their own fishing boats so the food is the freshest & best seafood you'll get on the island. www.albertosbeachbar.com I would not only recommend this property to a friend coming to Cozumel for a visit, I would ask if I could come along!
