Unique updated farmhouse for rent by artist/owner on 15 wooded acres with stream. Located on a quiet road in Stephentown, surrounded by old Maples that create a golden cathedral in the fall, with apple trees and a stream, wild turkey and deer.

There are two woodstoves downstairs, one full bath, two guest rooms (one with a woodstove and double sized futon) a skylit country kitchen that seats four, dining room seats six, living room with a woodstove, futon and office/computer space (bring your own laptop), and a VCR/DVD player. There is no TV hookup.

The upstairs has been converted to one large 23'x30' loft with two double sized futons and a full bath. Lots of good reading and records. There is a two car barn stocked with firewood. This is a great place for all the cultural and winter Berkshire activities. Can cross county ski right from the front door. Dogs are ok, no cats please.

This house is very close to Jimminy Peak and Bosquet, Mass Moca, Williamstown, Tanglewood, Lenox and Stockbride. 15 minutes to the throughway, Albany airport is 1/2 hour away.
