Just back from our weekend trip to Pointe West. This house is truly unique. Have rented many houses in hill country and Galveston Island but this one was really the best. Extremely well maintained, all amenities, nice neighbourhood.... Will definitely be back

Wonderful Vacation and Home

We stayed in this wonderful Cottage for 4 nights in July. Loved the cottage and the area. So nice and quiet and away from all of the hustle and bustle! Will be back for sure.

This home made a great place for a family reunion. We enjoyed the nice bedrooms with numerous decks, but also enjoyed the nice-sized living room, large dining table, and spacious kitchen. This beach home was clean, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. Young and old enjoyed the beach, both pools, and the location of the whole resort community. West Pointe is away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to Galveston to avail oneself of the attractions there. We found the owner to be attentive, responsive, and courteous. All this being said, we highly recommend this home.

Great property...easy walk to beach

We stayed here with another family...in total we had 4 adults and 4 young children (ages 1-3). It was an easy walk to the beach. Our 3 year old daughter walked it several times without complaint and we pulled the 1 year old in a wagon. The place was clean and we loved the huge kitchen table and the large balconies. We drove to the pool but it was a short drive. Great infinity pool and we enjoyed ourselves in the large baby pool with the kids. I would recommend this cottage to anyone interested in a Galveston vacation.

We stayed in this house over the July 4th weekend and LOVED it. The place was so nice and spacious and very close to the beach and the wonderful pool at the clubhouse. Our kids loved it and we hope that we get to go back again! Thanks Tim for everything.

Wow!!! This was the best vacation so far! This property has EVERYTHING you need on vacation. It had many ameneties, a great location, privacy, safety, and beautiful surroundings with beach views on one side and gulf views on the other. We have never relaxed so much. The children enjoyed the infinity pool everyday! Clean and inviting, the house was super spacious with all the upgrades you could want. Modern and pristine, this house was the perfect choice for our family vacation.

We've stayed at this house with our 2 kids and another family with their 2 kids and had a blast each time. The house is comfortable and well furnished, and within an easy walk to the beach. The clubhouse just down the street has a great pool and restaurant for when you want to dine out. We'll be back for our 3rd consecutive year in 2009!

We stayed at your awsome house this past weekend and had the best time. The bayside pool with lazy river was perfect for our three young children. The poolside restaurant had great service and the most tasty chicken sandwich I've ever had. The best part was that the resort was not crowded at all. We will be back! Pointe West is a great treasure!

We stayed at the cottage over New Year's week this year. Our baby girl was turning 1 while we were there so we had family coming up to stay with us as well. We were concerned about what we might find because of the storm but we would have really missed out if we had stayed away. The weather house is really stunning and has everything you will need for not only a nice stay but to feel literally "at home". The decks give you views in all directions. We had perfect weather and spent a good deal of time on the beach collecting shells and talking with other local and visiting folks out doing the same. We had a baby, a teenager, two midlife types, and two grandparents and all had what they needed. This part of the island clearly fared better than some parts but those places can be avoided. We found no reason to leave the house or beach near it at all. We hope you'll not be put off by the storm damage as you will miss something wonderful, We eagerly recommend this cottage and this owner. We had all the help we needed prior to and during our visit.
