Just returned from a 3 week stay and this property is beyond expectations. Unit is very sound proof and private with spectacular views of the golf course and ocean. Property owners were very helpful with the booking process, answering all our questions and providing personal details of the area. Unit is very well equipped with everything anyone could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the grill on the lanai for our personal use. The grounds are emmaculate with shrubs, trees and flowers to enjoy. This unit has our highest recommendation to friends and family for future consideration. We would not hesitate to return.

This condo is a lovely and quiet retreat for relaxing after a long day of exploring the sights of Kona. Comfortable, clean, well stocked, great BBQ, wonderful western views over the gardens and golf course. Well-located for adventures up and down the Kona coast. The owners were helpful and timely with any questions we had about our stay. We had a great week following in the footsteps of King Kamehameha, kayaking, visiting the farmer's market (Wed thru Sun where you will find the best and cheapest vegetables and fruits), and relaxing on the balcony with fantastic views of the ocean. Highly recommend these accommodations for 2-3 people. The two bathrooms were appreciated. And I loved having WIFI available!

" Thanks for making our stay on the Big Island so wonderful! The breezes throughout the day really kept the condo cool. We just kept the ceiling fan on and locked the screen door. At night, we noticed the lovely smell of tropical flowers wafting through the living room. We feel at home every time we stay at your condo and had everything we needed and more. Kona coffee is the best, so it was a nice touch to have the electric coffee grinder! My husband and I will be coming back soon!"

This condo is tastefully furnished, clean, well-maintained, and has all the amentities of home (which is not true of other condos). It has a wonderful lanai to simply enjoy your morning coffee or a late night BBQ, or just watch the birds, golfers, and sparkling blue water. The sunsets from here are breathtaking. The local people in the complex are friendly and helpful. The pool is a great place to relax and refresh when you want a break from the many beaches and tourist activities. This condo is a place I will return to - very relaxing and welcoming. Thanks to the owners for answering many questions as well.

This condo doesn't want for anything. We couldn't ask for better response from owners on advise and personal experience for island travel. The convertible was great fun. The Island book in the the condo was priceless for beaches and sites to see. I would recommend this condo with the highest marks.

This lovely condo was perfect! We truly enjoyed all the amenities offered; it was beautifully decorated yet so comfortable. Our time relaxing on the lanai was the best. Very good location--close to shopping and dining. We would certainly return for vacation again and we have recommended this property to friends. We can't say enough!

We had such an awesome stay here we are coming back this November 2010. There was more than enough room for the 2 of us. Everything we needed was there. The condo was very clean & well maintained. Checking in and out was very easy. Its too bad we couldn't stay longer.

My husband and I travel a lot and have stayed in numerous condos. This condo at Keauhou Akahi is exceptional. First, the location. Keauhou is a lovely spot and just a stone's throw from Kahalu'u Beach and Kona Village. We prefer to stay in Keauhou because it is close to a large shopping center with a nice grocery store -KTA, and because it is away from the noise of downtown. This particular condo is especially nice for its location, its wonderful ocean view, and the quiet atmosphere. Neither my husband nor I are fans of A/C, and thankfully this condo doesn't need it. The condo gets wonderful ocean breezes and actually gets cool at night. Second, the condo is very nicely furnished. Its decor is not typical condo style. We love the tropical theme throughout, the comfortable bed, and the lovely antique replicas in the bedroom. We always take two computers and our Ipods with us and were very pleased with the secure wireless internet as well as the plug in option. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and the kitchen has every appliance and kitchen gadget imaginable - more than we have at home- however, we spent most of our time grilling on the Weber gas grill on the lanai. That was a treat, especially at sunset. Third, this condo has a nice group of neighbors and great management. Once we locked ourselves out of the unit, but the apartment manager, Tom, let us back in right away. We also found our dealings with the property management company to be professional and responsive. We needed to know the security password to the internet and received a call back within minutes giving us the information we requested. We cannot say enough about our experience at this lovely condo. The Kubej's really have thought of everything and we will definitely stay here again! Sydney and Bob Pueblo, Colorado

We arrived back home two nights ago, and both mornings since then I've craned my ears for those serenading tropical birds. Alas....just a couple of flickers. We really had a lovely time and just loved the condo---thanks so much to the owners for sharing with us. It was perfect. We loved the location, accessible but away from the fray, and loved the wonderful taste in furnishings and décor. We used the pool a couple of times and loved the setting, so relaxing. The snorkling was great---we had one day in particular with particularly clear water right up the road by the Outrigger, and saw just a huge variety of fish and two turtles. I found the geology of the island particularly interesting. Thanks again so much. I'm so happy to be a reference for this condo!

Our experience was better than "home away from home"! The condo had anything I could have possibly considered needing. Perfect location, breath taking view, very comfortably furnished...surely I mentioned a breath taking view. The pictures are great...but you've got to go there!!!

I travel to Kona on business twice a year and always try to stay in a condo. This one is the best. It had everything I needed to make my time in Kona comfortable and productive. Other than food, there was nothing I needed that wasn't provided. The furnishings are beautiful, the scenery incredible, and the location perfect. The high speed wireless internet, the Weber gas grill on the lanai, and the new washer and dryer were exactly what I needed and hadn't experienced in other Kona condos. Vacation or business this condo is perfect.
