  We got lucky. We planned a last minute trip to Akumal and this condo was on our wish list. The reservations was handled swiftly and accurately with extra personal touches to make us feel valued and welcome. The owner has done a wonderful job equipping and decorating the condo; there wasn't a thing missing or an amenity omitted. We do private rentals 5-6 times a year and this property management was, perhaps, the best we've ever used. So attentive, prompt with replies (hard to find sometimes in Mexico), always available and ever so cheerful. With only 8 units in the building it is easy to meet new people yet retain your privacy. Quiet rules (no noise from 10 p.m.. to 8 a.m.) ensure plenty of rest to match the relaxation. Location is perfect. Have I said enough? Try it, you'll love it!

  The view was amazing. Every morning we sat up in bed and looked out at the sea, and eventually watched the sunrise over the water! The property was quiet and well-kept, and the location is a sweet one. We walked into the town of Akumal several times to go to the supermarket and some lovely little restaurants, and it was a 10-minute walk down the road, or a nice walk down the beach. We fell in love with the area! We had Lionfish across the street at Gynn'AK (oh my, so delicious!!!). She catches the fish herself, too! (they are dangerous to the reef because they have no predators) La Lunia was a romantic dinner, delicious and memorable. The room itself was fairly basic, but adequate. The view really was all that mattered, and a comfy bed. The couch wasn't very comfy, and there was just a shower, no bath, but these are really the only negatives, and they were such tiny negatives compared to the overwhelming positives of staying here. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, if I should be so lucky. The room was spacious, clean, well-stocked with appliances, and all staff were helpful and kind. I hope you enjoy La Bahia as much as we did.

  We had a great time at La Bahia #3. The staff was helpful and the weather was beautiful. We loved renting bikes and riding around Akumal. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone. We hope to be back one day!

  Right on the beach and the ocean's right there, too! Still miss the sound of the waves. A cute Mexican condo in the perfect spot on Half Moon Bay. Coffee on the balcony, naps on the living room couches, and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in after many Mexican vacations. Condo was cleaned immaculately every day and kitchen had all the dishes, cups and appliances you'll need. Purified water is supplied. The La Bahia property was well-maintained and clean and beautiful with the green of the landscaping, the white, white sand and the turquoise ocean RIGHT THERE. Donna is an amazing host and was so much fun to correspond with prior to our visit. A really neat lady and her condo reflects her tropical, fun personality. THANK YOU, DONNA.

  Donna, Just got back from a great vacation at your condo in Akumal. We snorkled most days, and saw lots of turtles and exotic fish. The view is fantastic, and accomodations were comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the local restaurant fare was delicious. We could have stayed another week.

  The service and people were A++. We really enjoyed our stay at La Bahia, Akumal is beautiful, lots of great restaurants. The condo had everything we needed including TV/DVD's for those couple of rainy days. Snorkeling right out front was great. Thank you for sharing your condo with us.

  We just truly enjoyed staying at La Bahia # 3, the views were amazing. Everything we could ever need was in the condo and loved the location, kind of central to everything.
