Why the Owner Chose Waiohuli Beach Hale
I bought this unit in 2006, because if it's location, it's beauty, it's a beachfront, oceanview property. It's a two bedroom, two bath corner unit. I've upgraded it with state of the art appliances, granite counter tops in the kitchen and baths, installed a new full size washer and dryer, even though there is a common area on premise to do your laundry. Also, the grounds are well-maintained and there is a solar heated swimming pool. We just love it here.

Because of her beauty, Maui has drawn me from New York to her beautiful island in the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. I arrive on Maui in 2004 and purchase this 2bedroom, 2 bath condo on the beach in 2006. Back in New York I was a clammer. Started clamming at the young age of 13 and now retired. I recently got married.
Our condo is equip with everything you need. We make it as comfortable as possible. This is your home away from home.
Both my wife and I can't wait for the whales to be here. We pack a lunch and go to the light house at Mcgregor's point and relax and watch the whales and the sun set over the horizon. Then we realize how fortunate we are to be living in a beautiful place they call paradise.

My wife and I took our first vacation with our 8-month-old, and this condo proved to be a very good fit. Ground floor end unit has been very tastefully remodeled and is well-appointed. We arrived to a very nice welcome basket, and the unit has many little things that make your trip easier - chairs for the beach, plenty of towels, coffee maker with filters and sugar at the ready, etc. There was a very new pack n' play for the kid, which was invaluable. We walked out to the beach to watch the sunset almost nightly - it's only about a 100 yards away and sets beautifully over West Maui. Many great beaches during the day are within a 3-mile drive. One grocery store is a block away - many things you need are within a mile drive, tops. Stella Blue's was a very good breakfast joint within a five-minute walk. The property itself is nice - good pool and three propane grills come in very handy and are an excellent place to meet other vacationers. We met a lot of repeat visitors, many of whom stay a month or longer. The tradewinds are very refreshing on hot days, but don't expect to hit the pool after about 3 on most afternoons when they really start to kick up. But all in all, we would definitely recommend this unit to others. Favorite beach: Take South Kihea Dr. south until it dead-ends (stay straight rather than veering left up toward Wailea). There's a parking lot at the end and a beach (Keawekapu) we learned about from the locals. Ended up being better surf to let the youngster test his feet in than Big Beach.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Dearest Debbie & Paul, Thank-you so much for all your TLC. It was amazing, You two have everything a person could need for a carefree vacation. We hadn't relaxed this much in a long time. The peace and quite was amazing. The sunsets where breath taking from the lanai. Just to sit out there and enjoy our daily breakfast & dinner was such a treat each day. The pool was awesome. I love the fact we were so close to everything, snorkeling, swimming, walking on the beach, tons of stores to shop at, great places to eat. I have already recommended your condo to our friends and family, it was the most enjoyable vacation we have had in a really long time. We will definitely be back next year. We had the absolute best holiday ever in Kihei, Maui! Our unit was beautifully renovated with a gorgeous kitchen and stocked with everything a person could ask for and more! It was clean, organized and in the best location in Kihei! The sunsets were amazing as we sat on our lanai sipping mai tai's! Thanks for a great spot to congregate with my family - we all agreed that our unit was the best one at Waiohuli Beach Hale!

Just got back from a wonderful week in Maui at this condo. The owner has done a great job with his property. The quality touches that he has put into the unit made our stay excellent. We loved the welcome basket of coffee, chocolate, cookies, and pineapple. It made us feel right at home in Maui. We absolutely enjoyed the pool time. It was never crowded - many times we had the whole pool to ourselves. Mahalo and Aloha.
