We spent 9 nights at this condo. The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. It had a great location, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The free shuttle bus to the slopes, picked us up at the front door and dropped us back off again. Our rental car hardly moved in 9 days. The hot tubs, pool and washing machines are just around the corner. The owner was helpfull and easy to deal with. Had some great days skiing and would definately stay here again.

Annual Ski Trip With my Sons

This condo is a really nice value. The pictures are true to the interior of the condo. The furnishings are in good shape and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked The master bed is really comfortable. It's just a few minute ride to Winter Park Ski Resort and very convenient to stores and restaurants. It's just what I was looking for. Would definitely stay again.

Fall Getaway

This condo is spacious and cozy all in one. We spent 3 nights in this condo over fall break and were very content. Clean, plenty of cookware and towels, cable tv, REAL FIREPLACE (such a pleasure), and on the first floor which makes moving in and out easy. We will definitely rent this condo again.

Great Condo

We so much appreciate the use of this condo for our family's ski vacation. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were nicely furnished and decorated. The recently remodeled kitchen was also very nice, with plenty of good cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. After skiing each day, we were able to enjoy the use of the hot tubs and pool at the recreation center, which seemed to be very well-maintained and just a short walk from the condo. In addition, we used the shuttle bus to get to and from the ski resort each day. This worked out great for us. With the stop right in front of the condo, it couldn't have been more convenient. This condo was just what we needed and more. We hope to return soon!

Very clean and orderly place. Nice newer kitchen. Plenty of blankets, towels, and sleds for the kids. I would definitely rent this condo again. First floor, so no lugging bags up and down stairs. Free bus to Winter Park Skiing picks up just outside front door. Very convenient with kids and their equipment. A short stroll into town and Hernando's Pizza (delicious). Owner easy to get in touch with via email and texting.

Our stay at this condo was delightful. We opened the door to a cozy condo decorated for the Holidays. The Lucas Family had left us an arrival gift of cookies and hot chocolate, which was enjoyed by all. The condo was furnished with everything you need. It was clean, had plenty of hotel quality towels and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the Christmas Eve festivities at Winter Park Resort and the fireworks provided by Winter Park on New Years Eve. The bus stopped right out the front door, making it easy to get around. The condo is on the first floor, no lugging your stuff up and down stairs. Scott was very professional and helpful. The only negative comment I have is that there was no wi-fi in the condo. We had to go to the rec center to use our computer. I would highly recommend this condo.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hi Country Haus. When we walked in the front door we were greeted with a beautiful, remodeled kitchen and some sweet treats for the kids. We had our family of 5 (three boys) and there was plenty of play room. They had several sleds for the kids (and adults!) to play with on the hill behind the condo. Tons of fun! It was a first floor unit with ample sized bedrooms and a glorious fireplace. (The third kid stayed on the HUGE sofa!) The shuttle stopped right in front of the door and took us directly to the ski resort. This is a great place for families and I would highly recommend it!

Great place for a summer vacation

Had a very nice stay. Was on first floor with only one step up. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of room for everyone to sit and eat. Kitchen was very well stocked. Bathrooms were small. Club house was close and very enjoyable for everyone. They have a nice playground area our kids enjoyed. Good activities for kids at the Winter Park resort. Free concerts at the local park in walking distance. Wonderful bike paths. Great hiking. Beautiful place. Would definitely recommend.

Everything you could ask for in a condo!

Excellent location,close to restaurants,laundry facilities,rec.room,pool/hot tubs,playground/sledding. Kids can play right outside patio door on hill. The condo is like staying in someones home, not a rental property. Although we never used the shuttle, the stop is right outside the unit. High country Haus may be an older complex, but it is very well kept and you should not let that stop you from considering it. We are glad we rented this unit and were very pleased. Not one complaint about anything:) The kids enjoyed the hot tubs and indoor pools. As far as restaurants, Hernando's Pizza is the best pizza we have ever eaten!-and you can walk to it. We would rent this condo again. Usually we stay ski in ski out, but the way Winter Park is Set up, it is not necessary. We drove to the Cabriolet lift, parked,hopped on, then took Willies Cab right to the lifts. Very little walking. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Great Location

We had an amazing time staying at this condo. The location was perfect and there was plenty of parking. We loved coming back to the condo after snowmobiling to create a fire in the fireplace. The showers were amazing - great water pressure. We'd definitely come back again!

great condo

this condo had the perfect location. on shuttle line for easy access to the ski slopes. the sledding hill right behind the condo and the swimming pool and hot tubs were easily within walking distance. it was very comfortable and clean. the kitchen was well supplied with the all items for cooking and dining in.
