Do you really want to spend your hard-earned money on cheap "amenities" while on vacation? Completed in July 2006, no expense was spared in furnishing this cabin. The spacious living room has dramatic cathedral ceilings and a new flat panel above the fireplace - perfect for relaxing on the leather couch with your loved one while enjoying the warmth of the gas fireplace.
The kitchen has gleaming granite countertops and new appliances - matter of fact, everything in the kitchen is new - pots, pans, utensils, serving dishes, etc. The master bedroom with queen-size bed offers its own full bathroom with plenty of privacy. Upstairs you will find two spacious bedrooms and a large tiled bathroom with double sinks and plenty of space for washing the little ones.
One bedroom is decorated in bright colors looking out to the picturesque front of the house and another bedroom has a pull-out trundle so the kids can enjoy their own space. There is also a gliding rocker and two pak ‘n plays in case you have really young children. That leaves more room in the car for fun things!
In the lower level, you will find a leather sofa and a 32 inch TV with VCR/DVD player, Air Hockey and Foosball tables. Also included are two control paddles that connect to the TV and offer you video game favorites Ms.Pac-Man, Pole Position, Galaga, Madden Football, NHL Hockey, and others. The fourth bedroom with its own private bathroom is also located here. This level is a great space to hang-out and lounge, especially for kids.
On cool nights, enjoy time on the wrap-around porch you and warm yourself by the woodburning fireplace. Even if rain appears, you will still enjoy the comfort of a crackling fire while roasting marshmallows. Need a little fresh air or exercise? The property also has a walking trail that runs parallel to the creek feeding our lake. The lake itself is stocked with fish, so bring your pole! Our subdivision also offers a large community lake for fishing, picnic tables for small gatherings, and a small creek for you to explore.
Do you still need more reasons to come? Down the road you will find gas stations, restaurants, a super-market, and the only convenience store that sells alcohol seven (7) days a week in the immediate area. Up for adventures? The Toccoa River is nearby offering you tubing and rafting adventures. Blanche Manor’s horseback riding is within a few miles. Mercier Orchards - known for their fried apple pies - is up the road. All aboard! The McCaysville to Blue Ridge train stop is just a stone’s throw away. Did you know this cabin is located in a gated community? What more could you ask for?
If you are not sold by now, then you would better stick to one of those other outdated cabins in the middle of nowhere. Come enjoy the "new" experience of this great place and then tell all your friends, "We were one of the first to stay there!" |
