This beautifully appointed, very quiet, ground floor, ocean view, condo is just 50 feet from the ocean and 20 feet from the pool and Jacuzzi. The condo is located in a perfect spot at the Resort Unit "G". The condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen, en suite washer and dryer, and air conditioning. We have ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room. In the living room is a flat-screen TV, DVD, and VCR/CD player as well as a queen-size sofa sleeper with a pillow-top mattress .I have provide beach towels and a cooler and beach chair for your pleasure.
From our lanai, you can see the ocean with the seawall and steps leading down to the beach, pool/barbecue/Jacuzzi area, putting green, beautiful tropical gardens, and the koi ponds.My guests have commented on how convenient our ground floor unit is. You are so close to the pool, spa, and the beautiful ocean. Just out front are plumeria trees which drop lovely blossoms with a scent of the tropics.
Tall palm trees cast varied shadows throughout the day while you watch the trimarans, windsurfers, and kiteboarders skimming across the ocean's surface. In season, the whales will entertain you in the waters between Lana'i and Moloka'i, and, if you're lucky, you will see spinner dolphins playing just offshore any time of the year. Papakea has an activity director in the lobby who can assist you in booking endless fun, including luaus, whale watching tours in season, sailing, snorkeling trips, golf, biking down the volcano, and so much more.
In the evening, you can dine on our lanai while sipping on a delicious frozen concoction and watch the magnificent sunsets in full view for your pleasure. Later you can fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean surf and the trade winds blowing through the palms. Yes, you really are in paradise!

*Note: Papakea Resort will be undergoing an Exterior Renovation Project, beginning in the spring of 2012, spanning a 2-yr period, EXCLUDING high season dates between pre-Christmas and post-Easter. Our building is NOT affected this year. Of the 11 buildings on property, only one or two will be affected at a time. The improvements will include replacing lanai railings and floors, applying a waterproof sealant, spalling repairs and repainting the exterior. Work hours are Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm. I took a long time to figure what island and resor I wanted my second home to be at. After looking at many resorts I found my perfect spot. Papakea Resort. It had everything I wanted. Small complex with beautiful grounds, pools ,spas and most of all a long walking beach that also has great snorkling right in front of the condo. There are grocery stores, shopping, restaurents ,clothing stores and fruit stands across the street. You don't even need a car. You have everything in walking distance. So come and enjoy the beauty Lana

Aloha Lana We have been back from Maui for a week now and are just getting back to normal. We wanted to let you know that we had a great time in your condo at Papakea. It was described-clean and very confortable with great views. We liked the decore and enjoyed the convenience of being on the ground floor so close to the pool ,ocean and BBQ Pitts. Your package you mailed us made it for a smooth ceck in. Liked the nearby eateries. Thanks so much and we will be back.

Well, we're home and back to reality. We had a wonderful time in Maui. It was perfect to have G107 as well as G108 so my girls and their families could be side-by-side. What a great complex! The kids especially loved being so close to the pool and I liked the location of the BBQ. We hope to be able to go back again soon. Some people leaving early gave us their boogie board and sand pails, etc. so we left them in the condo when we left. Thanks again for letting us enjoy the condo and a wonderful family holiday. Hi Lana, Our vacation was very good in spite of couple of days of rain. You have a very nice place. We really enjoyed the Lanai and hot tub. The sound of Ocean all the time was wonderful. It was very relaxing. I would not mind purchasing a condo like yours. I will definitely stay at your place again. Thanks for all your help.

I just wanted to let you know we had a great time at the condo and the location was perfect. Thank you for all of the information you sent to us. We had a wonderful breakfast at the Gazebo in Napili (macadamia nut pancakes) and dinner at Roy's in Kahana (unbelievable chocolate souffle dessert). We snorkeled almost every day, then relaxed at the pool in the afternoon. We also barbecued fresh fish from the Fish Market down the street. A fun and relaxing vacation! I hope we can make it back for another visit soon.

Hi Lana,So sorry I haven’t written you sooner! I got back to work and was blindsided! Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it to take time off- sigh.Our stay in your condo was wonderful. We loved it!!! It was the first place that I’ve stayed at where you can hear the surf as you’re lying in bed and see the ocean from the lanai.Being on ground level definitely has it’s perks – easy access to the pool and the bbq’s!We felt so welcome and had everything we needed – thank you sooo very much.
