One of our early priorities on returning home is to write you to send a very big Mahalo for our wonderful month in G107 in beautiful Maui. We want to say how well equipped we found G107 to be, especially the kitchen. It is most unusual, in our experience at least, to find so many dishes, glasses, pots and even baking utensils. We were amazed at the supplies of condiments, coffee filters, paper items etc. We tried to make sure the next occupants would find a good supply of these essentials.

Hi Anne, We had a wonderful time in Maui this year and so is time to plan for 2013. We hope to book G-107 again, from Saturday January 12 until Saturday February 2, 2013. If unit is free these days, please let me know and we can send off a deposit cheque to you on Fox Island. We miss the worst of Calgary winter these weeks, so hope we can be Papakea bound. Thanks for eveything this stay.

Aloha Lana We have been back from Maui for a week now and are just getting back to normal. We wanted to let you know that we had a great time in your condo at Papakea. It was described-clean and very confortable with great views. We liked the decore and enjoyed the convenience of being on the ground floor so close to the pool ,ocean and BBQ Pitts. Your package you mailed us made it for a smooth ceck in. Liked the nearby eateries. Thanks so much and we will be back.

Well, we're home and back to reality. We had a wonderful time in Maui. It was perfect to have G107 as well as G108 so my girls and their families could be side-by-side. What a great complex! The kids especially loved being so close to the pool and I liked the location of the BBQ. We hope to be able to go back again soon. Some people leaving early gave us their boogie board and sand pails, etc. so we left them in the condo when we left. Thanks again for letting us enjoy the condo and a wonderful family holiday. Hi Lana, Our vacation was very good in spite of couple of days of rain. You have a very nice place. We really enjoyed the Lanai and hot tub. The sound of Ocean all the time was wonderful. I just wanted to let you know we had a great time at the condo and the location was perfect. Thank you for all of the information you sent to us. We had a wonderful breakfast at the Gazebo in Napili (macadamia nut pancakes) and dinner at Roy's in Kahana (unbelievable chocolate souffle dessert). We snorkeled almost every day, then relaxed at the pool in the afternoon. We also barbecued fresh fish from the Fish Market down the street. A fun and relaxing vacation! I hope we can make it back for another visit soon.

Hi Lana,So sorry I haven’t written you sooner! I got back to work and was blindsided! Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it to take time off- sigh.Our stay in your condo was wonderful. We loved it!!! It was the first place that I’ve stayed at where you can hear the surf as you’re lying in bed and see the ocean from the lanai.Being on ground level definitely has it’s perks – easy access to the pool and the bbq’s!We felt so welcome and had everything we needed – thank you sooo very much. Hi Lana, We arrived home last evening, and I wanted to send you a short email telling you how much we enjoyed your lovely condo. We tried to leave it exactly as we found it and really appreciated you letting us check out a little later than usual. If we would have had it to do over, I think we would have definitely stayed there longer and spent less time in the other beach house, but we had a great time regardless. If we ever come to Maui again (which I'm quite sure we will), we'll definitely check if you have any availability. Aloha Lana, Martha and I just returned. What a wonderful time! We loved your condo. As I wrote in your guest book, we never felt so much at "home" in a vacation accommodation as we did staying in your condo for our first visit to Hawai'i. We think your condo location is the best one in the whole Papakea complex. Although the weather was not very cooperative, Martha and I enjoyed a lot of snorkeling, whale-watching, and a lovely drive to Hana. Mahalo for your wonderful introduction to Hawai'i! Hi Lana, Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your unit at Papakea. It was very peaceful, wonderful views, and I love your new carpet! We discovered Papakea over 15 years ago, and it is always so peaceful and tranquil. They continue to keep the grounds in pristine shape. It was the "homeowners' pow-wow" while we were there. It was entertaining watching all the goings-on. We would love to return during whale season. Thanks for sharing your second home with us, and we will surely recommend it to friends and relatives. As the tans fade, we are adjusting to life back in the rain forest. Our Feb 1st to 16th sojourn in G 107 was beyond expectation, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. What a superb location! Close to everything, absolutely ideal. We have been planning a family holiday in Mexico for some time and thats where we plan to spend February 2009. However, we are hoping we can reserve G107 for 3 weeks in February 2010. February 7th to 28th would be ideal. The condo was ideal. I didn't know how much I would like being on the ground floor, but it was perfect for everything- grilling, swimming, putting, going out to the seawall, we could keep a good eye on the kids. We loved it! We all slept very well and adjusted to the time change without much jet lag. Thank the Devens for us. They have a very nice place, and we are very grateful to have enjoyed such a special trip to Maui there. Tom and Kathy
